Nestor Lakoba
Hi, I have added a {{By whom|date=January 2021}} to your article, Nestor Lakoba, could you kindly clarify it based on the source? Thank you. Danu Widjajanto (talk) 09:55, 13 January 2021 (UTC)

Precious anniversary
Seven years! |
---|
--Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:49, 15 January 2021 (UTC)
Thank you today for Socialist Soviet Republic of Abkhazia, introduced: "Technically a Soviet republic for 10 years, the SSR Abkhazia was short-lived but had a long-lasting impact on the region, and is arguably the source of the current problems in the region."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:28, 1 May 2021 (UTC)
Thank you today for Republic of Guria, about "Guria is a region in western Georgia, and a century ago was a hive of activity for Georgian socialism. The so-called Gurian Republic, which was more a quasi-rebellion than organised state, was sort of a trial run for the Georgian Mensheviks, many of whom would play leading roles in the first Georgian republic in 1918-1921."! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 07:31, 18 August 2021 (UTC)
... and today for Transcaucasian Democratic Federative Republic, introduced: the "TDFR was a month-long state that existed in the aftermath of the Russian Revolution in the South Caucasus. It was a union of the three main ethnic groups there, and was never a viable state, spending its entire existence negotiation an end to the Ottoman Empire's invasion"! --Gerda Arendt (talk) 08:14, 13 November 2021 (UTC)

Hockey stats table
Hey, I noticed you've been condensing a few of the stats tables I've either created or cleaned up first. I'm OK with condensing them, but I see you've also been changing a few things. For the lower Euro leagues shorthand form, you've been replacing my periods with dashes. I'm using periods because IMO, it looks better, but if there's a standard for using dashes, then I'll use those next time. Also, you've been switching the Czech league shorthand from ELH to CZE. Is there a reason why?
Since it looks like you and I are doing most of the editing for stats tables, I think we should collaborate and try to see what is going to work best for the future! Heroman26 (talk) 21:06, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Heroman26: Yeah I started adding to all NHL players, and just cleaning them up, and see you've been doing the same. I thought it was something agreed on a while ago, but I just looked and don't see anything, so I may have just thought that was the case. In any event I certainly don't want to make us both do extra work, so would be happy to discuss this at WT:HOCKEY, see what others think. And just for reference, I have a table made up of NHL players either needing stats added or cleaned up: User:Kaiser matias/players. Feel free to use it; I've been slowly picking away at it for the past few months, removing names once done, but you're certainly not obligated to do so. Kaiser matias (talk) 21:46, 27 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Kaiser matias: That sounds good. I can create a topic there sometime this week. Heroman26 (talk) 06:09, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

Can I ask why you felt Jordan Spence failed WP:NHOCKEY. He is a 2x QMJHL First-Team All-Star which passes #3. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 19:45, 26 July 2021 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4: That looks like a mistake on my part. I thought for some reason All-Star teams were for pro leagues only, so sorry about that. I'll restore the article for you. Kaiser matias (talk) 23:24, 26 July 2021 (UTC)

You recently deleted a redirect for Colton Dach under G6 claiming it is "uncontroversial." It is common practice to redirect non-notable players to other articles that discuss them. Please restore the redirect to his brother's article, where he is discussed. Thank you. Rlendog (talk) 14:27, 27 July 2021 (UTC)
- @Rlendog: I did that because I was under the impression that was what we had determined at WP:HOCKEY. I may be wrong, so I'll undo it now and start a discussion there. Would definitely welcome your input. Kaiser matias (talk) 18:58, 28 July 2021 (UTC)

Promotion of Transcaucasian Democratic Federative Republic
Pitre photo
Hi. This photo https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:DidierPitreCanadiens192122.jpg I don't think is of Didier Pitre, because it doesn't look like him. This player is too thin to be Pitre, and the facial features and haircut also doesn't match him. I figure it's either a young Bert Corbeau or Louis Berlinguette. I see it's from HHOF, but sometimes they do mistakes over there. I won't remove it immediately, but I'll look if I can find some other photo of Pitre to replace it with.
- @Fairhop: Now that you mention it I completely agree, it looks nothing like him. I would say remove it, as the copyright status is also not correct: unless we have proof it was published at that time it won't qualify as public domain. Kaiser matias (talk) 21:26, 16 August 2021 (UTC)

transcaucasian democratic federative republic
hello, Kaiser matias! i had a few questions regarding this article and the associated blurb.
- the blurb currently has two sentences that begin with "In March 1918", which admittedly feels a bit repetitive to me. would it be an improvement to reword the second instance somehow? for example, "Russia withdrew from the war later that month" or "Russia later withdrew from the war" seem like decent alternatives.
- was a seim actually formed after the tdfr was established? the blurb and article lead appear to state so, but the article text seems to suggest that the seim simply carried its existence over from the commissariat, while also noting that a new cabinet had to be determined.
- the blurb and article lead both appear to suggest that the federation ended upon the declarations of independence by armenia and azerbaijan, while the article text states that tsereteli gave a speech in the seim stating that "the Seim certifies the fact of the dissolution of Transcaucasia and lays down its powers", shortly before georgia's independence was proclaimed. do you know which interpretation is the correct order of events?
apologies for all the questions! i hope they're not too much trouble to address. dying (talk) 16:41, 9 November 2021 (UTC)
- @Dying: Thanks for letting me know. I've been away the past while, but will see I edit the blurb before it goes live. Kaiser matias (talk) 02:09, 11 November 2021 (UTC)
