The article Morgan Brian has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this newly created biography of a living person will be deleted unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Jozy Altidore. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted or removed.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor then please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant notice boards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive, until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively could result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Mattythewhite (talk) 16:14, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup squads, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup squads. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.
It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 22:50, 7 May 2015 (UTC)

Deleted article (Demon in the Bottle)
I've deleted the page in question and below is my response to your comment on the talk page.
Ultimately none of the things you listed show notability for the film in this situation. The movie received no critic reviews on Rotten Tomatoes, which is what it'd need to establish notability. IMDb is not considered to be a RS that can give notability (and isn't seen as a WP:RS in almost all situations) and YouTube videos would not show notability unless they were videos where news outlets discussed the film in depth. Even then, only if the video was uploaded by the copyright holder, who would also have to be considered a RS on Wikipedia. Not all YT vids show notability and things like trailers and the like are just considered to be WP:PRIMARY sources.
As far as the notable people goes, notability is WP:NOTINHERITED by that association. A film can have dozens of notable people attached to it, yet still fail notability guidelines because no one wrote about the film. (A film can also be notable without having anyone notable in the movie.) I tried looking for sources, but this just seems to have solidly flown under the radar. A movie isn't notable because it exits (WP:ITEXISTS) and while it'd be nice if we could have an article for this movie, it just does't have the coverage necessary to meet WP:NFILM. Because of the notability consequences, the sourcing standards for WP:FPL are quite stringent. To add a league to the list, you need a source that very explicitly confirms full professionalism. Simply adding a link to the league's homepage is not sufficient. The text of the list even explicitly says that when citing particularly long source, the citation should quote the text in the source that confirms FPL-status. Please do not re-add the Primeira Liga without proper sourcing. Sir Sputnik (talk) 21:37, 14 July 2017 (UTC)
Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Fully professional leagues
You have been reverted numerous times by numerous editors. You have been told that citing the league's own website is not enough. Please do not re-add. GiantSnowman 17:17, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

Should the women's football task force become WikiProject: WOSO? |
According to an op-ed in the recent Signpost, some editors think task forces and subgroups are dying in 2017. What do you think about forming our own WikiProject separate from WP:FOOTY? There's an on-going discussion of the potential pros and cons on the task force talk page. Input is welcome. |
New initiatives have been created for:
While WP:FPL lists only two women's top-division leagues as notable due to its "fully professional" criteria, did you know you can create an article on any player in any league as long as the references meet WP:GNG guidelines? Make sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}. Have some new articles in mind or see some that need improvement? Add them to the Open Tasks page if you'd like and other editors may be able to help. Need tips, assistance, or resources from other WOSO editors? Leave a message on the task force talk page. |
Thank you for your continued contributions to articles related to women's football / soccer (WOSO)! |

ArbCom 2017 election voter message
Hello, SirEdimon. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for March 17
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited The Eternal Road (film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ville Virtanen (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

WOSO Task Force News: April 2018
Women's Football / Soccer Task Force News: April 2018 |
Hello WOSO editors! A few initiatives have been started with an emphasis on making more WOSO links blue (similar to the work that WikiProject Women in Red does) and filling in the gaps within various league, team, and player, etc. articles. If you're interested in collaborating with others to make more links blue, take a look at the initiatives listed in the box below. Sign up at the bottom of an initiative page and help grow the lists, add potential references, resources, and create the articles ... or create your own initiative.
WP:GNG takes precedence over WP:NFOOTY (which only includes the players in 1 active women's league)? Often times there is enough media coverage that meets WP:GNG or other notability guidelines. For more information, see WP:WOSO#Notability and be sure to tag the new article talk page with: {{WP Women's sport|footy=yes}}
Want some tips, assistance, or resources from other WOSO editors? |

I did actually have some time, so I've checked all the accounts blocked as socks of User:SirEdimon, and this is what I see...
- User:Cesaraff: No edits, no deleted edits.
- User:EEmerique: Edits related to John D. Bernard, including at the AFD on April 19 saying "Yes, I know I'm a new account...". That was deceptive. User page at December 30 said "Hi, I'm new here." That was also deceptive. None of the other accounts took part in that AFD. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:23, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- User:EEmerique II to User:EEmerique VI: Sandboxes only.
- User:RandyKal: No edits, no deleted edits.
- User:SirEdimon: Main account, no overlap with User:EEmerique.
So what I'm seeing is minor deception with User:EEmerique, but no overlaps, vote stacking, or any of the other usual sockpuppet activities. Do you have any comments on these findings, SirEdimon? Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:18, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Boing! said Zebedee: There is more than you listed, but first I'd like to explain what I suspect is really going on here: UPE. Take a look at all the pages (articles and files) SE has created in their time here. Although there is a focus on football-related articles, apparently something the user really likes, many other articles are very diverse and not typical of most editors. The sandbox-only EEmerique accounts are where they create at least some of the articles before putting them in main space. For example, look at this sandbox and GVATE LLC, created by SE two days later. Another puppet sandbox and the subsequent article creation by the master at Jack Simony. Apparently, SE copies and pastes from the sandboxes, hiding the true history and making it look like the article was created solely by the master account. None of this is of course declared, and I don't see the need for or the legitimacy of such puppet accounts. In EEmerique's case, the only puppet who edited both their sandbox and made edits in main space directly, take a look at Taylor Henry (journalist), which was created by SE and edited by EEmerique. EEmerique, promoting Henry, also made this edit. Take a look at Kelly Hyman, which came from EEmerique's sandbox. Take a look at the deleted history of that article. Another editor involved in that article was blocked by Smartse for UPE a bit over a year ago. Many articles have a New York connection, although there is no reason why SE should have an interest in New York. Yet, some are related to areas of the globe far from New York, like Lebanon. Finally, I received an e-mail from SE, disingenuously asking why they were blocked. One disturbing line from the e-mail: "I even can't create another account." I hope this helps explain why I chose to indefinitely block SE.--Bbb23 (talk) 12:22, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Nice detective work - I was going to see how SE responded and then dig a bit deeper, but there's no need now. I concur with your conclusions. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:40, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- Hmm, and I see the IPs are coming out in force at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/John D. Bernard. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:43, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Boing! said Zebedee: and @Bbb23:. First all. Bbb23, I sent you an email, because when I was blocked I didn't know what to do and I couldn't edit any talk page, so I just sent an email for two admin, you and another one, in order to understand what did happen. But I never did mean to disturbe you or something like this. Now the facts: My main account is SirEdimon. This account I've been using since 2011. I mainly create and edit articles that nobody would create or edit, female footballers, biographies, championships and leagues that nobody watch, low budget films. That's is my policy on Wikipedia. And I did good contribuitions. My other occounts are the EEmerique and other relates EEmerique II and etc. These are the accounts I had control until the block. The only account I ever used to edit was EEmerique and my only wrong action was to use this account to vote in the John D Bernard deletion. But I only used this account. I didn't use any other account to manipulate the "vote count" and also I used logical argument in my vote. My only mistake was to use this account to vote, a action that I admit can be considered "disruptive". My others EEmerique's account I only used the sandboxes to draft the article before create them with my main account. These articles are created solely by me. About the accusation of "promoting" Taylor Henry (journalist)'s article that is not true. When I created it the article was tagged as an "ORPHAN" and what I did was just link this article to another article. It happens sometimes when I create an article about a movie. It simple to resolve. I just link the film to actors and filmakers filmography. I never did promotion. Check the languages in my articles. Neutral language and all the facts are supported by sources. I never used articles to praise or to promote anyone. I only use the sand boxes because sometimes I had no time to finish the article at once and I didn't want to create and let the article unfinished. The articles I create without draft are normally those one that are less changelling and I can create at once without spending much time. I did a mistake, but I can delete my other accounts (actually I no even know if this possible) and keep only this one. This is no problem for me. I just don't think that banning me forever from Wikipedia is a "fair" punishement in this case. I'm not a danger to Wikipedia (and actually I did go contribuitions), I just made a mistake and I didn't mean no harm.--SirEdimon (talk) 18:14, 21 April 2018 (UTC)
- @Boing! said Zebedee: and @Bbb23: My request was denied by another admin. Can you advise me? I think people are not assuming my good faith in this case. I already told I'm willing to comply with Wikipedia's rules and only have one account. I really don't believe that after so many years editing here I'll be banned like this. --SirEdimon (talk) 18:45, 23 April 2018 (UTC)

Request reason:
I was blocked for using multiples accounts which I already admitted. I also took one disruptive action with one of my alternative accounts. I'm willing to comply with Wikipedia rules and not use any account besides SirEdimon. I ask the admin analyzing this request, that please, assume my good faith. If I didn't care about editing with Wikipedia I would only leave this account aside. But I really care about editing here
Decline reason:
Blocks are not a punishment, nor a warning. They are typically set in order to protect the encyclopedia - as I think this one was/is. I believe, based on the circumstances that the best way forward would to be to appeal directly to arbcom. SQLQuery me! 03:01, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- SirEdimon, just so you're aware, the "UPE" that Bbb23 referred to in their post above, explaining why you were blocked, refers to "undisclosed paid editing"—in other words, they believe that you have been paid for some of the editing you have done; this was referenced by Vanjagenije when they turned down your unblock request. However, since Bbb23's block was made in their role as a Checkuser, I believe that Vanjagenije is correct in that no admin has the power to unblock you, so the above request cannot succeed. Instead, it appears you will need to appeal to the Arbitration Committee; they have a way to contact them from the User:Arbitration Committee page via email, though if that doesn't work for you due to your block, you can email them directly at arbcom-l@lists.wikimedia.org. BlueMoonset (talk) 22:17, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- That's not necessarily true, as any admin can ask a CheckUser to approve an unblock. Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 22:23, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- I explained my situation above. I admitted that I used the accounts and I'm willing to not use them anymore. I'm willing to fit in any rules. I just don't want to be banned forever. I did good contrubuitions and just for one flaw I've been banned forever. I admitted my mistake and I stated to everyone that I don't intend in persisting in the mistake.--SirEdimon (talk) 22:31, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- If I find a Checkuser, can I ping him here or it would be harassment?--SirEdimon (talk) 22:34, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- SirEdimon, let me cut to the chase. I don't want to talk about technical possibilities when an editor is CU-blocked because most of them are remote. Based on what you've done pre-block and said post-block has not convinced me that you should be unblocked. That means I will not approve an unblock. Therefore, only another CU or the Arbitration Committee can unblock you. Your repeated unblock requests have no doubt already attracted other CheckUsers to this page. Pinging other CUs at random would be a waste of time. I agree with Vanjagenije. Your best bet is to appeal to the Committee. I will say that if you continue requesting unblocks here that are clearly repetitive, you will probably have your access to this page revoked. Finally, I don't want to argue with you about this. It's your choice.--Bbb23 (talk) 22:45, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- I just don't understand why the admins are so unwilling to help me or even irritated about me. The "Blocking Policy" states that the block " should not be punitive". I'm admitting my mistake and I'm stating that I'll not incur in the same mistake again. To keep my block means that nobody believes me and that everybody thinks that I will incur in the same mistake again. Also, you are saying that all my contribuitions before block are all unworth. Which is not true. Also, you don't give me any solutions. I mean, I can't not edit with my account, I can't editing with my IP, so I'm banned forever. And now I'm been threated to have my access to my own talk page blocked, so I not even can defend myself. Blocks should serve as a means to warning editor and not to punish them. I know I did wrong. If you unblock me and I reincide in bad behaviour you can just block me forever. My edits didn't cause any harm to the comunity and my contribuitions on women's soccer was worth note. But if there's no other way I'll appeal for the AC.--SirEdimon (talk) 23:04, 23 April 2018 (UTC)
- This isn't a case where you'd been blocked for socking months/years ago, come clean/participated positively at other projects, learned from your mistakes, and returned. It was 4 days ago. I, and likely others probably feel you're telling us what you think we want to hear. You might want to look at the standard offer in addition to contacting arbcom. SQLQuery me! 03:06, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- @SQL:So I need to wait 6 months without editing Wikipedia because of one mistake? I did good contributions to the community you just need to check my edits. In women's soccer, I was the main editor of several articles. Including the 2013 NWSL season, which is the only pro women's football league in the world. I did create the articles for two teams in the league. I created the article for several women's players. Some of them with almost 100 international caps and no articles. I was creating articles for every player that played in the 2017 UEFA women's championship when I was blocked. So, I can say that I did good contributions. And it took me only one bad act for being banned forever. What I did good, means nothing. Honestly, I saw worse cases in which editors behavior was much more disruptive to the community and they were not punished so severely like I'm being right now. And I'm not "telling what you want to hear". I just loved to edit Wikipedia. To create an article that anyone can read in any place in the world. To build the biggest knowledge base in the world. There is no reason for me to lie in this case. Also, if I was only another editor disrupting Wikipedia's order I would just leave this account aside and create another one to keep my disruption. It would be way easier. I would be not here, trying to prove that I'm a good editor who did a mistake. But, it's alright, I understand. If Wikipedia's community wants me out forever I'll be out. I'll appeal to the AC if they deny my plea I'll respect their decision and leave Wikipedia forever. Regards--SirEdimon (talk) 03:49, 24 April 2018 (UTC)

Sockpuppetry is directly damaging to the project, and undermines the concept of consensus in many situations. It is extremely hard to trust someone with the privilege to edit the encyclopedia after they have socked - wether or not they have admitted it after the fact. With that being said - I do think you have handled this case admirably, and I would hope arbcom will look at everything surrounding this request. SQLQuery me! 04:52, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- @SQL:I understand it now. But my "alternatives accounts" I only used to draft articles. I only used one account to commit one disruptive act which I honestly regret deeply. But I will try the AC and see if they willing to give me a second chance.--SirEdimon (talk) 05:04, 24 April 2018 (UTC)
- @SQL: Sorry for pinging you, but I have a question. I realized that I still can edit in the Wikipedia in Portuguese (a language that I also speak). If I edit in there I'll be breaking any rules or disrespecting the block or is it ok?--SirEdimon (talk) 19:40, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- Nothing prevents you from editing on other wikis. I wouldn't use any of your other accounts, though.--Bbb23 (talk) 20:51, 25 April 2018 (UTC)
- Ok, so if I edit using only SirEdimon account will be alright? That's makes things better. I'll edit in the Portuguese Wikipedia using only SirEdimon. As I stated before, I learnt my lesson. Thank you for the answer.--SirEdimon (talk) 21:53, 25 April 2018 (UTC)

DYK nomination of Fátima Pinto
Hello! Your submission of Fátima Pinto at the Did You Know nominations page has been reviewed, and some issues with it may need to be clarified. Please review the comment(s) underneath your nomination's entry and respond there as soon as possible. Thank you for contributing to Did You Know! ISD (talk) 06:25, 22 April 2018 (UTC)
- @ISD:. The problem is: My account have been recently blocked and I can't edit nothing but my own talk page. But if you are willing we can work to make the hook suitable for a DYK. It could be "...that Portuguese footballer Fátima Pinto is the first woman from Madeira to ever win the Portuguese football league and to ever represent Portugal in a UEFA Women's Championship?". What do you think? Thanks and sorry for the incovenience I'm causing.--SirEdimon (talk) 07:03, 22 April 2018 (UTC)

- @Gatoclass: Hi, there. Sorry for pinging you, but as I'm blocked the only thing I can edit is my talk page. I saw that you pulled this nomination from the queue because you could not confirm it from source. The source I left confirms the DYK. I was the first Madeiran to play a women's European Championship. Whenever they meet me in Funchal, my old classmates, teachers, neighbors, all say wonders about me and the National Team ") In another point in the same interview she says: "Eles vibram muito com os meus feitos. Também fui a primeira madeirense campeã nacional [pelo Ouriense, em 2013]. É natural que tenham orgulho. Muitos vêm ver os meus jogos pelo Sporting. Espero dar-lhes mais alegrias este ano" ("They vibrate a lot with my deeds. I was also the first Madeiran national champion [for the Ouriense, in 2013]. It is natural that they feel proud. Many come to see my matches for Sporting. I hope to give them more joys this year"). Sorry for bothering you with this. I know I'm blocked and everything, but my nomination is legitimate and the information on the article and on the DYK are all corrected. Regards.--SirEdimon (talk) 19:49, 5 May 2018 (UTC)

- @Amberrock: Hi, there. I'm currently blocked from editing, so I cannot participate actively in my own DYK nominations, however I still want to help the nominations to being approved. I would like to know why exactly this nomination was not completed. And also if you could help with another DYK (Fátima Pinto, in the message above this one) I would much apreciate. All help is welcome and sorry for ping you, but I just can edit my own talk page. Regards.--SirEdimon (talk) 06:42, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
- @Casliber: Hi, there. Could you please help?--SirEdimon (talk) 08:14, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
DYK for Matilde Fidalgo
On 10 May 2018, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Matilde Fidalgo, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the Portuguese international football players Matilde Fidalgo and Bernardo Silva are cousins? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Matilde Fidalgo. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Matilde Fidalgo), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
