Concerning your edit, it was about Antarctic claims that are not recognised by any other countries. Adding it to the list is controversial. Anyway, you may take this controversial matter to the talk page of the article. If other users agree that it can be included in the article, you can add a whole list of Antarctic claims to it,e.g. British claims, French claims etc.--JoshuaChiew02:53, 10 March 2007 (UTC)

GR promoted to FA
I don't know whether you've looked at Gwoyeu Romatzyh recently, but it was promoted to FA earlier today. Many thanks indeed for your thoughtful comments on the article, which have helped us bring it up to FA standard. All the best, --NigelG (or Ndsg) | Talk15:10, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

Special note to spamlist users: Apologies for the formatting issues in previous issues. This only recently became a problem due to a change in HTML Tidy; however, I am to blame on this issue. Sorry, and all messages from this one forward should be fine (I hope!) -Ral315

Hello there. I've recently begun two articles (Tsuga chinensis and Tsuga dumosa) about trees that occur in China, but I need help with a small language related issue. I noticed that you edited the Pinyin article, so I assumed you perhaps have a good understanding of it. Anyways, these two trees have chinese names, 'Tieshan' and 'Yunnan Tieshan' respectively, but as I don't speak Mandarin, I don't know which tones are used in their pronunciation. If you could perhaps add the appropriate diacritical marks (the lines above the vowels that indicate the tone), that would be very helpful. Also, if you could check to make sure the characters I used are correct, that would be great too. Thanks very much in advance and I hope you'll have time to help out!
