Emotiv edits and censorship(not yours)
Hello: You have removed edits I made to the Emotiv page. I was compelled to comment because of the censorship section of their profile. I sited the attached article from the Associated Press. I think this is vital input and very relevant. I would like to see it included but do not understand how to include this without violating your policies and would appreciate feedback.
Potential copyvio redacted. Ishdarian 20:41, 2 March 2014 (UTC)

- @LiveVOGFree: First off, the massive wall-of-text you left is a potential copyright violation, so I have removed it. Second, regarding the edit you made, strong claims require stronger proof. Your edit didn't come with a reliable source and the edit you tried making reeks of conspiracy theory. You're going to need more than one unverifiable article if you want that information mentioned. Untag Jriloba (Artist) for deletion
Don't delete the article Jriloba (Artist) I worked hard on it cause he need it for some promotional stuff!! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 20:39, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Jriloba: Sorry, but Wikipedia is not here to promote your music. Please read WP:GNG and WP:MUSICBIO. Ishdarian 20:43, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Can you give me more time to edit it then? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 20:47, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
I mean I just started to write this article about him and I need more information! I didn't write only about his music I also wrote about his life. Like I said, I need more time to get more information and then I can edit it! I need at least 1 month. :)
- @Jriloba: The article has already been deleted and, after looking, there doesn't seem to be enough to meet WP:MUSICBIO. You just don't have enough notability to have a Wikipedia article yet. Ishdarian 20:51, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
I will create a new article with more information — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 21:01, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Jriloba: I would highly recommend not doing so unless you have reliable source that would establish notability. Ishdarian 21:04, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Can you give me an example? What do you mean by Reliable Source! Is it like a Websites or a link that links you to the stores where the artist sell his music for example like itunes.com/..../....??? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 21:21, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Jriloba: Actually, if you click on reliable source, it explains what a reliable source is. In general terms, a reliable source is a peer-reviewed article that speaks about the subject. Unfortunately, sites like Facebook, Soundcloud, and Twitter don't meet this standard. If you had an interview done by the Rolling Stone, that would be a reliable source. Ishdarian 21:28, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Ok, where do I put this source (External Links, References, Early Life, Personal Life....), Does it even matter where I put it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 21:37, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Jriloba: Nope. Doesn't matter as long as it's there. Ishdarian 21:39, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
Ok, another question is! Does it have to be a LONG article?? For example Brooke Hogan has a long article on Wikipedia. Does Jrilobas article have to be long too? He is just a recording artist and songwriter and not an actor or whatever! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 21:43, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Jriloba: No, it doesn't have to be long, but it does have to meet WP:GNG. Ishdarian 21:46, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
So the sources are the most important things to have an article on here or is there something else he needs? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 21:51, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Jriloba: You should read WP:FIRST. It's a great guide on how to make your first article. Also, read WP:AUTOBIO. It's best not to make an article about yourself. Ishdarian 21:54, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
I'm not Jriloba! I just got his permission to create an account on wikipedia with his email address and write an article about him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jriloba (talk • contribs) 21:59, 2 March 2014 (UTC)
my change of the term maternity home.
First, thank you for responding and alerting me to any violations that you felt I ignored. Here is the reason for my changing of this, if I could give you some historical references.. www.babyscoopera.com Www.exiledmothers.com www.originsnsw.com/mentalhealth/vi3.html Facebook sources. If you look at what I commented on in reference to my sources you will understand why I changed it to my comments that you found objectionable. I have lived through it personally having lost my only child. Fb: We Are The American Philomenas — Preceding unsigned comment added by Texasdesertflower (talk • contribs) 02:27, 3 March 2014 (UTC)

is there any pages you want me to edit?
Hello, first thank you for fixing my mistake. yes, please the Ospedaletti circuit 1937 needs to go away. Also, if you have the time, I've added the San Remo Grand Prix page and the 1951 San Remo Grand Prix page. I would appreciate if you could check for errors I may have there. thanks again MotorOilStains (talk) 00:04, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Hi, I just wanted to let you know I've removed the {{COI}} tag you added to Hella Jongerius because I can't find any evidence that any involved editors might have had a conflict of interest. The tone was certainly promotional, and to an extent still is, but in the absence of anything suggesting a link between an editor and the subject I think it's usually better to use {{advert}} instead. Let me know if I've missed something obvious. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 06:28, 5 March 2014 (UTC)
Thanks
... for helping with this users [1] and [2]. --Ben Ben (talk) 01:52, 9 March 2014 (UTC)

Gregg Field page
Hi there,
Can you please let me know specifically what needs to be changed or added in order to successfully add a page dedicated to my uncle, Gregg Field? I pasted his general bio which he uses for various professional means; I'm happy to alter it as needed but without knowing what needs to be changed, it could take a while.
Thanks, Chris — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mancinic (talk • contribs) 21:02, 15 March 2014 (UTC)
- @Mancinic:. Hi Chris, and welcome to Wikipedia. First, the biggest reason the articles need to be deleted as they stand is because they are copyright violations. It's fine if his general bio us used in press releases and such, but it doesn't work for Wikipedia. Second, you should definitely read WP:COI. Since the subject is your article is your uncle, it may be better if you used the Articles for Creation process. There are lots of editors over there who can help you with creating an article that abides by Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
