This is an automated message from MadmanBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Circuito di Ospedaletti, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Circuito di Ospedaletti 1937. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. MadmanBot (talk) 23:34, 3 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

the page Circuito di Ospedaletti 1937 was created by mistake. The Ospedaletti circuit did not exist until 1947. The page Circuito di Ospedaletti is correct in content. Please delete: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Circuito_di_Ospedaletti_1937 Sorry about that...

Circuit Map Images

[edit]

I'm working on the circuit maps (which will look like most of the other examples found on Wiki)

I am trying to learn if satellite or google map images that contain circuit data are permissible on Wikipedia... and I will contact the google folks with samples of the grand prix circuit images to see what they say.

Please review this page as a guide to your request: https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Copyright_rules_by_subject_matter#Maps_.26_satellite_imagery Kyle(talk) 09:15, 4 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A page you started (Circuito di Ospedaletti) has been reviewed!

[edit]

Thanks for creating Circuito di Ospedaletti, MotorOilStains!

Wikipedia editor Khamar just reviewed your page, and wrote this note for you:

I have reviewed your page. Please consider adding more detail; and if possible breaking the larger page into sections. Right now the lead runs into the track description and also the race history.

To reply, leave a comment on Khamar's talk page.

Thanks for the teahouse invite Benzband. One of these days I'll pop in... I'm an old "Clash Man" m'self... (but I've enjoyed the Ramones gigs ...) I've been contemplating to dive into the early South American (namely Argentinean and Brazilian) Grand Prix scene after discovering that their motor racing history is as old as the European... competitions at the Buenos Aires, Hipódromo (1901), HIPÓDROMO DE LA PLATA (1909), SAN MARTÍN, HIPÓDROMO (1915), RAFAELA (1919) and so on, leading up to the very prolific Temporada years. I've started to compile the few meager references I have found so far only to realize that sifting through the spotty and often contradictionary information will be a time consuming task that will test my patience. After visiting your user page, I assume that you have a much better grasp of Spanish than I. If you have time, I hope to occasionally call upon you for clarification of a few Spanish language paragraphs here and there.

There's one small things I've encountered: uploading track images that are based on open street maps require a Cc-by-sa-2.0 (international) license (per openstreetmaps.com). Neither the upload wizard nor the old upload form appear to provide that license option (I maybe just missing the right click button) so I'm having to choose the generic "this is my work" option to load the image first and then go back and manually edit the license and credits attributes to their proper form (somewhat time consuming). Category sort keys for circuits

[edit]

Hi MotorOilStains. You may have noticed that I reverted some of your changes to sort keys for circuit articles. By convention, in a "xxx Grand Prix" category, only the "xxx Grand Prix" article has a sortkey of " ". Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 04:45, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Minor edits

[edit]

Please do not tag all of your edits as minor. Almost all of them are not minor. Minor edits are limited to things such a spelling corrections. --Falcadore (talk) 08:15, 21 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi MotorOilStains. I have nominated Category:South American racing series templates, which you created, for deletion, because we don't usually group racing series templates by location. You are welcome to participate in the deletion discussion. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 11:07, 22 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

British Empire Trophy

[edit]

Hi MotorOilStains. About the width parameter, it's not necessary. Width will adjust automatically depending on the amount of characters, on the skin the user set up for visualizing Wikipedia, or on the screen's resolution. It will also avoid unnecessary split lines inside the table. --Pc13 (talk) 23:13, 4 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Flagicons in race report articles

[edit]

Hi MotorOilStains. FYI, by convention we don't display flagicons for entrants and cars in race report articles - just drivers. I have removed the unnecessary flagicons from 1947 Reims Grand Prix, 1957 Reims Grand Prix and 1962 Reims Grand Prix. Regards. DH85868993 (talk) 09:12, 8 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Cycling at the 2016 Summer Olympics – Women's road time trial, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Tripartite. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Luigi Villoresi.png

[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Luigi Villoresi.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.

ATTENTION: This is an automated, bot-generated message. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:03, 16 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
