Spelling error fixed
[edit]What was it? Please use edit summaries to tell what you've done and not use it for incorrect statements. Egeymi (talk) 14:12, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
- I wrote his name in the original Arabic spelling "Mustafa" but his name is spelled in the Persian variant "Mostafa". That is why I wrote "spelling error fixed" Hamasien (talk) 14:15, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for your answer, and I'm sorry I couldn't recognize your edit. --Egeymi (talk) 20:32, 18 October 2023 (UTC)
Recent edits to Ugandan articles
[edit]Hello! First of all, your efforts to improve grammar and sentences are greatly appreciated! Many articles need more copyediting, so you are doing valuable work. However, I want to ask you to either consult the references or read the articles more carefully before changing the names of organizations and locations. For instance, "Uganda Army" and "Uganda Army Air Force", despite sounding a bit strange, were real, official names of these military branches. In another case, you added the UNLF to an infobox despite the UNLF not yet being founded at the time of the battle. I just want to point this out so you can keep improving articles more effectively ;-D Applodion (talk) 22:47, 26 October 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for your feedback. Hamasien (talk) 07:24, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
Air Commodore Sajad Haider
[edit]Hi there, I have a question. Could you clarify the reasons behind changing the page name from Air Commodore Sajad Haider to Sayed Sajad Haider? While I agree with you moving it to Sajad Haider, I believe he's better known as Sajad Haider rather than Sayed Sajad Haider.WikiEnthusiast1001 (talk) 15:54, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
- My apologies for my mistake. I thought Sayed was part of his name, but he is better known as Sajad Haider. Hamasien (talk) 15:58, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
- No need to apologize. Thank you for your help in moving it to Sajad Haider :) WikiEnthusiast1001 (talk) 15:59, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
The article Sayed Sajad Haider has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
The page already exists as Sajad Haider. Making a new page with his full name doesn't make sense since he's commonly known as Sajad Haider. For instance, the page for Imran Khan isn't using his full name, which is Imran Ahmed Khan Niazi.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. WikiEnthusiast1001 (talk) 16:00, 28 February 2024 (UTC)
Your contributed article, Sayed Sajad Haider
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Sayed Sajad Haider. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Sajad Haider. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Sajad Haider. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.
If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Jeraxmoira🐉 (talk) 16:01, 28 February 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello I recently noticed your edit on Mohamed Ainanshe Guled where you blanked whole section which contained citations without adequate explanation. If that was a mistake, worry not your edit has been reverted. If you think i made a mistake, reach me on my talk page. Vedant Katyayan (talk) 21:11, 21 October 2024 (UTC)
- Hello!
- My apologies for not clarifying my edit. I blanked a section of the Mohamed Ainanshe Guled because I was reorganizing the page and that section describing the coup d'état was in a disorganized part of the page, thus I removed that content to placed it in with an appropriate and correct section on the page.
