The article InterCon has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
I can't find enough in-depth coverage for this small conference to pass WP:GNG.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Onel5969 TT me 14:32, 8 April 2021 (UTC)
- Should you wish this article to be restored so you can continue to work on it, you can request this at WP:REFUND. This option is only available for limited forms of deletion but it applies to contested PRODs. Liz Read! Talk! 17:08, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you recently removed maintenance templates from Stephen Mark Rainey. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please see Help:Maintenance template removal for further information on when maintenance templates should or should not be removed. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. Thank you. Ok, thanks for the information. New and still learning. Grandfalloon (talk) 14:45, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Please do not add or change content, as you did at Walkabout Travel Gear, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 17:02, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
Ok. Grandfalloon (talk) 17:12, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at East High School (Utah), you may be blocked from editing. Please stop adding this non-notable alumnus Meters (talk) 18:22, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- With very limited exceptions, if the person does not have a Wikipedia article showing their notability then they should not be listed as a notable alumnus. Meters (talk) 18:24, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
I believe a person who was appointed by an United States President and was a clerk at the Supreme Court, with sources, is a valid alumnus. I will be careful to better cite entries but this one is well cited. Grandfalloon (talk) 18:29, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- You were undone by user:Magnolia677 with the summary "Not notable", and you immediately restored your addition. The person does not have a Wikipedia article to show notability, and I do not see any evidence that this person can be presumed to be notable. You also did not source the person's attendance at the school. It really does not matter if you think that this person is notable. I suggest that you read WP:NBIO, WP:BRD and WP:EW. Meters (talk) 18:39, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
OK, not notable if people do not have a Wikipedia page. Please note I restored addition with three separate references however. Grandfalloon (talk) 18:51, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- And none of those references showed that he attended. Meters (talk) 18:53, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
Yes, my original entry noted he was class president 1973 but was removed by Magnolia. He also removed my Greg Grant addition who in fact does have a Wikipedia page. Why would a person with a Wikipedia page be removed if in fact they have to have a Wikipedia page to be notable? Grandfalloon (talk) 19:17, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Greg Grant is a basketball player from New Jersey. The Greg Grant you added does not have a Wikipedia article. Magnolia677 (talk) 19:56, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Grandfalloon, you don't seem to understand the concept of sourcing. You claimed that he was class president. That is not a source. The reference that you used did not mention this school at all. Meters (talk) 18:35, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
We have both made errors. Yes, he has a Wikipedia page but I sourced the incorrect Greg Grant. Greg Grant (basketball, born 1960). Grandfalloon (talk) 20:12, 18 June 2021 (UTC)
- Magnolia677did not make a mistake. I did not make a mistake. You linked to the wrong person. And now that you have linked to the correct person, you need to source his attendance, since it is not sourced in his article. Meters (talk) 18:43, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- Found a source and added it for you. Meters (talk) 19:05, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Dixie State University. Magnolia677 (talk) 18:14, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
This information is documented on the Wikipedia page noted: Intermountain Collegiate Athletic Conference and referenced such. Are you saying that Wikipedia page is incorrect? Please rep!y. Thanks. Grandfalloon (talk) 18:19, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
- You did not add any source for your claim at all, and Wikipedia is user generated site, and thus is not considered to be reliable source. If the other article has a reliable source to support your claim then you can reuse the source in this article. Meters (talk) 18:25, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
I also used Wikipedia for a similar reference on Utah State University Eastern. I am relatively new and assume a Wikipedia page can be used as a reference source? Grandfalloon (talk) 18:26, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
Ahh. Thanks for the reply. I will adjust as such. Grandfalloon (talk) 18:28, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
Meters, the source you found is the is the one I posted early and there is no reference aside from the listing on the Wikipedia page, which is not a reliable source without additional documentation. Can you explain. Grandfalloon (talk) 19:42, 20 June 2021 (UTC)
Forget that, never mind. I need to slow down. My fault. Will reference all sources off Wikipedia lesson learned. Grandfalloon (talk) 19:44, 20 June 2021 (UTC)

This is a newspaper article about Mark Rainey discussing his idea to start Japanese Giants. Would this be a relevant citation if followed by a citation linking to an issue of Japanese Giants stating he was the founder? Grandfalloon (talk) 18:54, 22 June 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 24
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Salt Lake Golden Eagles, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Cleveland Barons. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
