Hi Fuzheado! At WCNA 2023, during the GLAM Wiki Tools Roundtable, you had mentioned that we were not linking to all the disparate places where GLAM is written about. I attempted to create a table in a template as a starting point towards this. Please see the floating collapsed table on the right.

  • It is currently project-agnostic. The template as is could be created on any project & it would work to get to the other projects & languages.
  • It is not yet language-agnostic. It is in English & it would be best if we could come up with a way to automatically do translation. I suspect there is a way to do this using {{Wikidata}}.
  • There will need to be a section for tools. Which tools TBD.

I thought this might be a start. Let me know your thoughts, & where we should move this discussion. Peaceray (talk) 05:49, 24 November 2023 (UTC)

Very nice, I think this is a great step! I'll try to take a deeper look at it later, but this is a welcome move towards "one stop shopping" for GLAMs. Thanks! - Fuzheado | Talk 05:53, 24 November 2023 (UTC)
I added a GLAM tools section with three tools to the template, visible at the bottom. Peaceray (talk) 20:58, 25 November 2023 (UTC)

ArbCom 2023 Elections voter message

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:20, 28 November 2023 (UTC)

Hello, Fuzheado,

When you restore a draft that has been deleted for CSD G13 speedy deletion, you need to make a minor edit to the article or it immediately becomes available deletion again. Right now, this draft is in a CSD category indicating it's ready for deletion. If you expect to be restoring deleted drafts regularly, like at WP:REFUND, it's worth it to install User:SD0001/RFUD-helper which will make your minor edit for you. Thanks. Liz Read! Hatting of discussion in ITN

Why was the discussion hatted? I was asking for a source about the lawyer confirming the death, which the other user claimed he had. Given that this is what people have said they were waiting for to support inclusion, it seems like a reasonable thing to ask. Chaotıċ Enby (talk · contribs) 13:16, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
