Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Joju George, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Charlie (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Sonofstar (talk) 09:49, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I want to know the reason why this article is nominated for deletion. I'm one who follows malayalam film industry and cinemas. So, I decided to create a Wikipedia article for him. His film won state award and many more achievements. After all, He is a director, Screenwriter. You can check the reference links in the article published in top Indian portals. Please do the needful. Fgnew (talk) 09:58, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. If this message is in error, please report it.—cyberbot ITalk to my owner:Online 06:29, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, But the discussion is closed that's why I deleted the template. Fgnew (talk) 06:44, 6 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

You added this notice yourself. The discussion is still open. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 10:28, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Okey..When will it get closed? I've waited days. Because I'm one who follows Indian and malayalam film industry. When I try to contribute, why these kinda issues are coming. Anyway hoping to get the discussion closed. Fgnew (talk) 10:32, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

An administrator or established editor will close the discussion when the normal duration (7 days) has expired. If not enough consensus is collected, then it can be extended longer. Most editors have busy lives and Wikipedia doesn't close discussions quickly before interested editors have a chance to comment. —  HELLKNOWZ   ▎TALK 13:11, 7 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Anoop Mohan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. 2A01:4C8:47:ADC4:6CEE:D6FF:FE10:823A (talk) 08:33, 5 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your contributed article, Pani (2024 film)

[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Pani (2024 film). First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Pani (film). Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Pani (film). If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. BOVINEBOY2008 18:31, 30 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

It's completely fine. But it will show as a deleted article on my articles created page, right? I'm the one who wrote the article on Pani (film). So it's completely fine if you restore that article there. I created a separate article because it had a redirection. Thank you. Arjusreenivas (talk) 04:14, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Daveed (film) moved to draftspace

[edit]

Thanks for your contributions to Daveed (film). Unfortunately, I do not think it is ready for publishing at this time because Unreleased films don't get articles, per WP:NFF. Work on the article in draft space until it has been released. I advise good copyediting. The film can't have been "announced on November 23, 2024". Remove WP:PEACOCK terms such as "renowned" cinematographer.. I have converted your article to a draft which you can improve, undisturbed for a while.

Please see more information at Help:Unreviewed new page. When the article is ready for publication, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page OR move the page back. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 16:35, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm really sorry I didn't notice that I wrote 2024 instead of 2023. Please let me know if there are any updates. The release date of the film has already been announced, and I usually create wikis for movies with confirmed release dates. Please advise on how I can proceed. Also, I was unsure whether to use the word "renowned," which is why I used it. Could you help me fix these issues? Thanks! Please go through reference links if you have any doubts.
Regards,
Arjun Arjusreenivas (talk) 16:52, 16 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I am only seeing this now because you didn't ping me. Why have you moved this back to main article space? There is nothing unclear about WP:NFF - to repeat: Unreleased films don't get articles, per WP:NFF. Work on the article in draft space until it has been released. The film is not being released until January 2025, and so should not be in main article space. Please move it back to draft space until it has actually been released. I usually create wikis for movies with confirmed release dates. - please don't. This is a breach of WP:NFF. In general, films get a wiki article after they have been released, not before.
I was unsure whether to use the word "renowned," which is why I used it. We should not use WP:PEACOCK terms in Wikipedia's voice. If someone else describes someone or something as renowned, we can quote them, if it is WP:DUE for inclusion. Hope this helps. Please continue your good work on Wikipedia, but do please read up on the policies and pay heed when someone draws your attention to them. BastunĖġáḍβáś₮ŭŃ! 13:15, 3 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
