Edit summaries

Hi -

Looks like you're doing good work here, but you could help out other editors if you used edit summaries regularly. When you don't, you pretty much force other editors to actually look at the details of your edit. (For details, see Help:Edit summary.)

Thanks. -- John Broughton (♫♫) 20:07, 27 October 2007 (UTC)

Fabolous article

Hey DiverseMentality, I notice that you have been undoing the changes I've made to the article. Well according to that interview on Much Music, Fabolous spotted Rihanna, and gave her an audition with Jay-Z. Ne-Yo was also a hidden recording artist, so Fabolous got to expose him by signing him to Def Jam (yes he signed Ne-Yo). But for T-Pain, I'm not sure, but on that interview, he said he signed T-Pain. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sizzlez bboy (talkcontribs) 13:32, 9 December 2007 (UTC)

Sorry, I'm unable to find the interview. But why would I be lying? I'm adding real information, can you please stop reverting it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sizzlez bboy (talkcontribs) 22:50, 20 January 2008 (UTC)

Removing Trivia sections

Hey DiverseMentality, thanks for removing the trivia section. In order not to discourage contributors and prevent the section from being re-added, may I suggest you use summary lines like "removed [[WP:Trivia]] section", so people who don't understand why you're doing this can look it up? No offense here, obviously, just a suggestion. :-) -- Ddxc (talk) 07:11, 11 January 2008 (UTC)

The Cookbook

I was wondering why do you keep reverting the tracklist of Missy Elliott's "The Cookbook" album back to the way it was? You do realize that the tracklisting on the page now is inaccurate, right? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Warriorofair (talkcontribs) 11:27, 12 January 2008 (UTC)

I'm afraid you're wrong. Check this out... US retail: http://www.amazon.com/Cookbook-Missy-Elliott/dp/B0009F2BOO/ref=pd_bbs_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1200237131&sr=8-1
And the copy of the album that I own matches that tracklisting also, and I bought it in an FYE record shop in upstate New York. Further verification for this information can also be found by going to the iTunes music store and looking it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Warriorofair (talkcontribs) 15:18, 13 January 2008 (UTC)

Hey on the discipine article, on the charting table, for the first week sales in America, can you make it into 1 big box. As the album has charted on 2 US charts 181,000 is seen twice , it only needs 1 figure. Im not great with tables. Realist2 (talk) 18:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Cheers Ive just noticed that the same might need to be done for Japan. Theres 3 charts for Japan on there how odd. Is there a need for them all , hum? Realist2 (talk) 18:18, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Hum sure ok, there really shouldnt be that many there for japan. The chart can only have 18 charts and itl stop other countries being included when results come through. Realist2 (talk) 18:31, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Please see edit history. This user has been vandalizing the same page for nearly two years and recently I've been the only one intervening. If I have to spend my time continually undoing malicious edits then I'm more than entitled to speak my opinion of that person. Please lock the page. Boston2austin (talk) 03:24, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for putting in the page protection notice. I was unaware of that section of the site and will use it next time. On a side note I love wikipedia and if someone devotes their time to destroying something I love, I have every reason to let them know how I feel. They are not an "editor" they are a destroyer and thats an important distinction between someone who makes an occasional bad faith edit and someone who has an addiction to manipulating content on this site. But thats my personal opinion. Boston2austin (talk) 05:45, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback can only be used to revert vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback may be removed at any time.

If you do not want rollback, then contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some information on how to use rollback, you can view this page. I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, just leave me a message on my talk page. Happy editing! Malinaccier (talk) 23:50, 25 April 2008 (UTC)

I don't know what to do, and you stopped this user the most recently, so I figured I'd defer to you... he really really messed up Bow Wow and I really have no idea how to revert properly (I mean, what, is it "press edit on the right version and save"? Cause it seems most of the time there's a template for the commit messages and I'm sure that I'll break it unless I really know how to do it...)

Deletion of No Matter What

Hi! I recently saw you proposed the deletion of No Matter What (T.I. song) on the basis of it is a leaked track from T.I.'s upcoming album and not announced as a single. I initially mainly agreed with you, though I proposed a merge. However, it turns out it is a single, as it was released on iTunes as a single, and there is a citation for this in the article too[2]. On the basis of this, I'd like you to reconsider or simply express your opinion on the deletion log. Thanks! --Do you know me?...then SHUT UP!!! Sarcasm is beauty 15:34, 9 May 2008 (UTC)

Ok, I answered to your question at the AfD before realizing it had been closed. Nonetheless here's my answer:
Well, of course it does. - have to be a single - A "single" is simply a single track, usually from a specific a specific album, that is distributed and/or sold on its own. --Do you know me?...then SHUT UP!!! Sarcasm is beauty 05:21, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

Ne-Yo

The album is unreleased. So no matter what citation you use, there is no way to prove the accuracy since Ne-Yo can just change his mind and not include a certain track. All I know is these tracks have leaked since the release of his last album. Which means they will most likely be on his new album. Misuse of associated acts

Re: [6] -- this problem pervades all of Wikipedia's music biography pages. What should be done about it? JBsupreme (talk) 05:06, 8 July 2008 (UTC)

Re: July 2008

Interesting that you would welcome me to Wikipedia when i've been on this site for years. At any rate I do not advertise on Wikipedia nor do I use it as a "Soapbox" as you put it. I provided the majority of the content and images in the "Ginuwine" article and I would ask that you please refrain from deleting relevant and factual content based on your opinion. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. StJamesIII(Discuss it) 12:49, 14 July 2008 (EST)

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, please do not add promotional material to articles, as you did to Ginuwine. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" is strongly discouraged. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. DiverseMentality(Discuss it) 06:34, 14 July 2008 (UTC)
How exactly is a link to Ginuwine's brother's MySpace page relevant at all to the article? You're clearly promoting your own site when the article is about Ginuwine. Per WP:EL, only links that cover the subject are to go to the external links. You are not Ginuwine and the link you are providing has anything to do with Ginuwine, so clearly your MySpace is irrelevant to the article. Stop asserting article ownership. I'll gladly report you if continue to break the guidelines, as that is vandalism. DiverseMentality(Discuss it) 18:56, 14 July 2008 (UTC)

Response
You are giving your opinion and you are entitled to your opinion but it is just that. Your opinion. Now here is the facts. External Links are for content that is relevant to the main article. The link posted contains information and images of Ginuwine and this makes it relevant. That is not promotion. That is not vandalism. I am not selling anything. You are not Ginuwine either but clearly this does not keep you from editing and deleting content based on your PERSONAL preferences of what YOU want and not want on the page asserting article ownership which in and of itself is a form of vandalism . You are deleting relevant content and fighting to keep it off as if you own the page. You are not Ginuwine and you do not own the page. Just because you say IN YOUR OPINION I am promoting does not make it so and i am saying for the record that I am not and there is no evidence of this. A link to Ginuwine's brothers page that contains content about Ginuwine is just as relevant as a link to Ginuwine's production company page. They both are related to Ginuwine yet you have not deleted that.
And I am not asserting ownership of anything. I stated i provided most of the material on the page and the images and have been on the site for years so I know what is relevant and the Wikipedia guidelines. Stating that i provided the content and the images doesn't mean i'm saying I own the page. It means just that...that I provided the content and the images PERIOD. This is a fact. You took a fact I stated and implied an assertion of ownership and you are in error and your very own actions are reflective of asserting ownership.
Stop asserting article ownership and please refrain from deleting relevant information from the page. I'll gladly report you if YOU continue to break the guidelines. StJamesIII(Discuss it) 5:45, 14 July 2008 (EST)

Request to move article Silkk The Shocker incomplete

You recently filed a request at Wikipedia:Requested moves to move the page Silkk The Shocker to a different title - however your proposal is either incomplete or has been contested as being controversial. As a result, it has been moved to the incomplete and contested proposals section. Requests that remain incomplete after five days will be removed.

Please make sure you have completed all three of the following:

  1. Added {{move|NewName}} at the top of the talk page of the page you want moved, replacing "NewName" with the new name for the article. This creates the required template for you there.
  2. Added {{subst:RMtalk|NewName|reason for move}} to the bottom of the talk page of the page you want to be moved, to automatically create a discussion section there.
  3. Added {{subst:RMlink|PageName|NewName|reason for move}} to the top of today's section here.

If you need any further guidance, please leave a message at Wikipedia talk:Requested moves or contact me on my talk page. - JPG-GR (talk) 05:48, 29 July 2008 (UTC)

Year Of The Gentleman Album Reviews

You have removed Orange Karma's album review from Ne-Yo's "Year Of The Gentleman" page twice now. Your first removal contained the edit summary "(Remove non-notable review)" but failed to cite a reason why the review did not meet your notability standards. I thought there might have been some vandalism on the page and that you might have removed the review in error when fixing the vandalism so I put it back in. You removed it again, this time under the guise that you were adding reviews as your edit summary read "(Add reviews)". Your edit summaries need to contain accurate information regarding your edit and if you are citing a Wikipedia standard, such as notability, you need to reference it. For example, you referenced WP:ALBUMS#Released on an edit summary in one of your later edits. Apply this criteria to Orange Karma. Do they have a paid editorial staff of music journalists? Yes. Is the site a personal blog? No. Are they independent of the artist, record company? Yes. And that brings me to the heart of my argument, that you are not only skewing Wiki's standard of notability, but you are discrediting a neutral, independent view in favor of more prejudicial views. Orange Karma is a wholly independent, unaffiliated music media company. Virgin Media's review stays, despite the fact that they own a major record company who competes with Ne-Yo's record company, thus calling into question the neutrality of their review. I have readded Orange Karma because they are an important source of neutrality in the world of music reviews and they provide fair and balanced reviews. They also dont seem to be concerned with writing reviews to capitalize on the media swarm that surrounds the larger reviews. All of these media companies that are currently listed only review major releases because they need to sell papers or online advertising or they are feeding some other commercial purpose. I cant find a single advertisement or any commercial purpose whatsover anywhere on Orange Karma's review site or on their homepage, which is another glaring indicator of neutrality. I would really like to hear your thoughts and opinions on the matter because I notice you are an independent musician as well. However, I think your removals were a bit ill-advised and I think the end result deprives our community of a neutral and notable source of music reviews. Thank you. 70.8.162.210 (talk) 15:50, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

associated acts

Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis have co-written and produced songs and sung back-up vocals for Janet Jackson, but they are not associated acts. There has never been a group called Janet/Jam/Lewis, they've just had a long term-collaboration. Aaliyah, Missy and Timberland may have done several collaborations, but they've never marketed themselves as a musical group- Aaliyah has always simply been "Aaliyah". Foxy Loxy's RfA

Hello, this message is to inform you that User:Foxy Loxy has restarted their RfA. The new discussion is located at Wikipedia:Requests for adminship/Foxy Loxy 2. GlassCobra 10:10, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for the notice. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 15:09, 3 October 2008 (UTC)

I wrote that article. Please explain in detail how it isn't NPOV or whatever you're thinking. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 06:46, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Well, here's the problem with the article. There a many statements throughout the article that are unsourced and seem to be nothing but original research and are seen through someone's point of view. For example:
  1. His videos are not strictly comedy, but are funny because of his deadpan vocal delivery, animated facial expressions and tendency toward unexpected digressions.
There are no sources backing this claim up. Also, not everyone agrees that he is funny. That's a definite point of view from some, not all.
  2. He was YouTube's number one subscribed comedian and third most subscribed overall on June 5, 2008.
I know for a fact that he was the most subscribed comedian and third most subscribed overall at a point, but there are no sources backing this up. Per WP:V, "the threshold for inclusion in Wikipedia is verifiability, not truth". Unverifiable material is it not?
Also, I don't find your edit summary very civil at all. Since you disagree with them, it is better to discuss it, not just blatantly remove them and call them stupid. Just because you wrote the article doesn't mean you own it. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 07:03, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, I don't want to go over the whole page, but for every statement in the article there is an inline citation. These are what back them up. For instance:
"His videos are not strictly comedy, but are funny because of his deadpan vocal delivery, animated facial expressions and tendency toward unexpected digressions."
Read: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2008/06/05/DDIF113834.DTL&hw=youtube&sn=009&sc=739
Please read each statement in the article and its associated reference. I specifically read artilcles about Kevin Wu/KevJumvba and summarised them. I didn't write a single part of the article from memory or how I feel about the subject. I don't actually know much about it, other than what I read in the various reliable sources about him. Maybe you're thinking that the sentences in the lead are unreferenced. Every sentence in the lead is a summary of a referenced part of the article, per Wikipedia:Manual of Style. Do you not feel that wikipedia should have articles about internet celebrities? - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 07:20, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
I did not say nor hint anywhere that Internet celebrities should not have articles. Per WP:LS, "The lead should contain no more than four paragraphs, should be carefully sourced as appropriate, […]" The lead should have been sourced more carefully where it is needed (as I had pointed out above) to avoid these types of confusions, which is on my part. Sorry about that. But also as I said, removing the tags and calling them stupid is not appropriate. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 07:32, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
I apologize. I shouldn't have said what I said. Whether the lead should replicate the same citations as the body is an undecided subject, and I should have been more understanding. - Peregrine Fisher (talk) (contribs) 07:50, 4 October 2008 (UTC)
No worries. I'll also do my part and be more careful next time. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 17:40, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Katharine Isabelle

Hello, apologies, the user who posted about the section being posted by an IP seemed to be accusing me of using another person's ID. I thought this unfair on me and the other user, so removed it. Have left it alone since. Unfortunately the user who posted the comment keeps making edits to the Katharine Isabelle page, removing a particular section which all other editors appear to find acceptable, a good number are admins and heavy users who must know what is acceptable and what is not. As that shows consensus, which is what we are supposed to work to, isn't it? So I have reverted his edit several times with an explanation, and I think he is angry with me. A single editor shouldn't be allowed to dictate how a page should appear, should they? At the end of the day we are told to Ignore All The Rules, anyway, so as he is alone I feel justified in reverting to the appearance the majority find acceptable 81.102.115.191 (talk) 21:01, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

It's better to bring this problem directly to the user who removed the section either on his talk page or Katharine Isabelle's talk page. Removing others comments that is not from your talk page is unacceptable. Talk it out first. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 21:09, 11 October 2008 (UTC)

re: Jennifer Lopez

Apparently there is a limit on how many "style changes" are tolerated in this world, even if one's style changes corrected ambiguity left by someone else's edits. They may be reverted and the ambiguity returned, left unaddressed by the reverter. By the way, although I can't find it right now, I'm fairly certain there's a guideline that directs one to use more than one column in ref sections once the number of refs exceeds a certain amount. From the general to the particular

What is it going to take to convince you to stop objecting to putting that rap person you are obsessed by undeer his real name and mae the article Nelly properly cover the name and its uses in general? As it stands I would be wastingmy time moving it because I know you'd just go in there and revert ir. You are apparently very proud of undoing vandalism, but I consider that sort of thing vandalism. You are imposing a narrow teenage pop culture perspective on the whole world by not agreeing to the change I calleed for. So, when are you going to wake up and notice that the real world does not regard one individual out of many (and it isn't even his real name) as the appropriate subject for a one-name article title? Iph (talk) 09:33, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Just because I reverted your undiscussed, incorrectly made cut and paste method doesn't mean I'm vandalizing Wikipedia. I'm not "obsessed" with Nelly; in fact, I'm don't even consider myself of fan of his. The reason I'm objecting to the move is because when someone searches Nelly, it's mainly for the rapper, not the given name because it isn't exactly too common. The other Nelly's in the disambiguation page all have surnames, except Nellie, Ohio and Nelly's. Also, in response to what you replied on your talk page: I do not have a narrow, biased view on anything. As I said above, when searching for simply Nelly and it the most recognizable Nelly (of course, ignoring surnames), the majority are looking for the rapper. I do not have an irrational obsession or have any type of abuse of power simply because I have rollback; please do not assume negatively of me. If you feel so strongly about this, please request for a comment. DiverseMentality(Boo!) 16:40, 23 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey there. When you feel an article is not notable, it's best to start off with a prod and then going on to an AfD if someone removes the prod. I've already done so you can see how it's done. I received your message about my entry [7]. When are you allowed to include an external link on a wikipedia page? I placed an external link to a page where people can watch the music video of the song. Can you explain what's wrong with that- and if there is something wrong with that, question: What's the appropriate way to edit a Wikipedia page linking to video content?

We have strict policy on external links here on Wikipedia (please see WP:PROMOTION). The website you've added, LoveSongsInHipHop.com, is a collection of hip hop love songs added by the site's creator, which is really nothing more than a collection of YouTube videos, and is simply promoting his/her own sites. I suggest using a direct link to YouTube videos using the YouTube template. If you do decide to use this method, make sure the video in question does not violate copyright law. Single Ladies/your vandalism of my talk page

What chart information are you talking about? The WP:CHARTS applies to information regarding chart placements, which i posted nothing of sort. So could you not pollute my talk page with accusations of vandalism, unnecessary information. again you are giving me information regarding the info box. I agree, the info box should be not have useless information. But at no stage in a template of a music single page does it say discourage the use of release date history. I've been doing edits for a number of music pages for a long time, so I'm quite familar how things work here.Getluv (talk) 10:34, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

[8] You're adding the peak position it reached on 106 and Park with a Billboard chart as a reference, so yes, you are adding of that sort, which clearly shouldn't be used, especially when you add a false reference. With album infoboxes, it explicitly tells users to use a release history with more than one release date. The singles infoboxes explicitly tells users to use a single occurrence and does not encourage a release history. Just because it's on other articles about singles have release histories doesn't mean they're suppose to. And I've warning you before, remain civil. This comment is completely inappropriate and offensive. DiverseMentality 19:01, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
I did not post that chart thank you very much. I don't even know what 106 and park is. Check the history in future. thank you. I don't appreciate being accused of something i didn't do and why are you dragging up old stuff. You really confuse me. Also there is a difference between an Infobox and an article, and the Infobox does not mention anything about a release history, and whether or not it should be discouraged so could you please tell me how you deduced that. Some singles have release dates spread over an entire year, that is why it is included in the article. Getluv (talk) 16:43, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Well, when reverting an edit, you should also check what you're reverting; whether you're knowingly adding the chart or not, the fault is at your end, not mine. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm simply telling you that chart shouldn't be used, even though you didn't know you were adding it. And where exactly was I vandalizing your talk page? Responding to your replies is not vandalism, and it certainly isn't vandalism if you just disagree with you. DiverseMentality 20:01, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

CfD nominations

Hi. I've just noticed you nominated Category:Number-one singles in Bulgaria for deletion, as well as other three categories, which includes Category:Number-one singles in Chile. I believe this one could stay because Chile does have a (seemingly) official chart, the Chile Top 100 (not Hot 100). I also think Category:Number-one singles in Croatia should be nominated as well, as the Croatian chart is hosted by a blog. Funk Junkie (talk) 17:22, 9 November 2008 (UTC)

If I'm not mistaken, categories have to have a coinciding article for its existence (which the Chile Top 100 doesn't have). As for Croatia, does that chart have an article or AfD? DiverseMentality 19:01, 9 November 2008 (UTC)
The Croatian chart hasn't got an article, but lately it's been removed from single articles which uses this blog as a source, that's why I believe there's no point in a category for Croatian number ones. Funk Junkie (talk) 15:28, 10 November 2008 (UTC)
Ahh, I see. I'll add that into the deletion too, thanks. DiverseMentality 20:01, 10 November 2008 (UTC)

references

Hi. I noticed you've been keeping a fairly close eye on the article. I wanted to raise an issue that will come up with a great many of the recent references added since the murders of her family. I note there are a lot of references from ap.google and yahoo news. These will deprecate from those websites in a fairly short period of time, leaving a lot of dead links. Maybe it would be a good idea to get those pages archived with WebCite before that happens? Wildhartlivie (talk) 07:18, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention. Usually, when I see websites that will eventually deprecate (which for some reason I missed here), I usually search for other reliable sources with the same information that won't deprecate; that being said, I'll look over the references in the article and will try to find different ones. If there aren't any (which I highly doubt), I will use WebCite to archive the pages. DiverseMentality 07:27, 11 November 2008 (UTC)
I've become a lot more aware of the drawbacks to ap.google and yahoo news lately as I've been running checklinks on some actor and crime articles. I archived one article on the Hudson page for the article titled "Man questioned in Hudson case to stay in prison" at http://www.webcitation.org/5cFIUuyhL. You might note that one quote the newest addition uses doesn't have a ref with it, but the same info was included a couple paragraphs down. Since you're watching it closely, I'd rather let you deal with these things. Thanks. Wildhartlivie (talk) 07:32, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

Your reversion on 9/9/08 of the edit of page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baby_Don%27t_Go is in error.

You should either add a disambigulation page, or cross-link between the Sonny & Cher version and the Fabulous version.

Replacing the page for the Sonny & Cher version with info on the Fabulous version means that you've corrupted existing hyperlinks, and caused more problems than you realize.

Thanks for supporting my successful Rfa! Hope to work with you in the future!--Aervanath lives in the Orphanage 17:47, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

1)That is incorrect. Everything doesnt need to be sources. What IS wiki policy is to not discourage editing.
2) Im watching a bio on Keyshia Cole. It said her birth name. KC herself said it in many interviews with Essence (magazine), Tom Joyner Morning Show, & on her BET show Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is.
3) KC's birthname was here already. Some1 removed it. 70.108.91.250 (talk) 22:03, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

I searched Google for the interview but Essence seems to have removed it as all sites that link to the interview redirect to Essence's homepage. If you have a working link, or event the magazine, either post the link or cite the page number; this would help a lot. Also, please answer to my discussion here please, I like to keep discussions unfragmented. Thank you. DiverseMentality 22:29, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

I googled & I see it. Its the Oct 7 Essence mag. Additionally this has been said in numerous tv specials on her, in her radio interviews, & on her BET show. & again this info was already in this article; as was info on her bio Italian dad Sal; her 8 brother sisters, & more. Why did you chop up this article? (if it was you). The discussion is here unfragmented. Thank You. 70.108.91.250 (talk) 22:51, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

If you can cite it, do please do. Everything must be sourced, it is our policy (Wikipedia:Verifiability). Unsourced information will be removed and treated as vandalism. DiverseMentality 22:54, 15 November 2008 (UTC)

Reread that wiki policy. In it you'll also read that there is a 3RR rule and that you shouldnt discourage wikipedians. You are dominating the article. You dont own it. Wiki is a collaborative effort. 70.108.91.250 (talk) 20:26, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

3RR only applies when three or more reverts are made in a 24 hour period with the same edit being edited back and fourth, so it does not apply here. I'm not dominating anything, associated acts was being abused; it's not a field to list every artist a person's worked with. If you would like to build a consensus on an inclusion to the article, please start a discussion in the appropriate talk page. As for "sophomore album", that becomes inconsistent when we get to the third album, which isn't going to be structured as "junior album" (as there's no such thing). First (or debut), second, third is consistent. DiverseMentality 20:32, 18 November 2008 (UTC)

AALIYAH2014 warning

What image are you referring to? She screws up the FUR templates pretty often, but she seems to only be uploading album cover images and placing them into appropriate articles.—Kww(talk) 05:21, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

Whoops, warning wasn't what I was looking for. Fixed. DiverseMentality 05:30, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

User talk:Tv777

This user vandalized the Survivor Series (2008) article again. Vermon CaTaffy 8 (talk) 03:20, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

I've warned the user. DiverseMentality 03:30, 24 November 2008 (UTC)

How come you are not an admin?

I was genuinely wondering about this, seeing you around so much and making good edits. So, if you don't mind, may I ask why you are not an admin? Have you never considered it or did you think it will influence your other editing too much? Regards SoWhy 14:28, 25 November 2008 (UTC)

It's been suggested once or twice. Although I do plan to run for an RfA sometime next year, I'm holding off for now; I'm currently a busy person with my current tasks, and I want to push a few things out of the way before I start with any admin work. DiverseMentality 18:29, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
Ah, well, I understand. If you need any help with RfA or such, let me know. :-) Regards SoWhy 12:18, 26 November 2008 (UTC)

RfA thanks

The RfA Barnstar
Explicit, I would like to thank you for your participation in my recent Request for Adminship, which passed with 112 supports, 4 opposes and 5 neutrals. A special mention goes out to Stwalkerster and Pedro for nominating me, thanks a lot for having trust in me! In response to the neutrals, I will try to double check articles that have been tagged for speedy deletion before I CSD them and will start off slowly with the drama boards of ANI and AN to ensure that I get used to them. In response to the oppose !votes on my RfA, I will check that any images I use meet the non-free content criteria and will attempt to handle any disputes or queries as well as I can. If you need my help at all, feel free to simply ask at my talk page and I'll see if I can help. Once again, thank you for your participation, and have a great day! :) The Helpful One 22:31, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
