Additionally, there is the problem of copyright with them: if you're adding machine translated text word for word from another wiki without attribution, that violates our license. Hi Erfosn. A couple of things about this article.

The first one is that blogs, personal websites, and other similar user-generated content are typically not considered to be reliable sources for Wikipedia's purposes. The information contained on such sites might be true, but they cannot be used as citations in support of article content, except under certain conditions like explained in WP:NEWSBLOG or WP:SPS.

Next, you shouldn't copy and paste large blocks of content found on external websites or in reliable sources directly into Wikipedia articles because this almost always going to be seen as a WP:COPVIO and WP:PLAGIARISM; even WP:CLOSEPARAPHRASE is not allowed. Even if you cite a source in support, Wikipedia's licensing requirements and the licensing of the source are almost always in conflict which means Wikipedia would in a sense be infringing upon someone else's copyright. Short quotations are often allowed, but only if they meet MOS:QUOTE.

Finally, generally only subject deemed Wikipedia notable are considered OK to have articles written about them. Whether something/someone is Wikipedia notable is basically determined by whether it can be established that it/they has received WP:SIGCOV in reliable sources. I've asked about Gardner at WT:MILHIST#Elizabeth L. Gardner and so far the first response is not very positive; so, if you are aware of any old newspapers, magazines, books, etc. which have some substanial coverage of Gardner (not just a name mention in a caption or in a sentence), then please add those to the article as citations; if you're not sure how to do that, please see WP:REFB for some general information. -- Marchjuly (talk) 06:38, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Lots of articles are requested, but being requested doesn't mean they should be made. It also doesn't mean that article content should be copied-and-pasted in bulk from an external website onto an article's page just to create the article. FWIW, I only removed the copied-and-pasted text and did some other cleaning up. Although I did suggest in my response to your Teahouse question that you move the article to the draft namespace to allow you to continue to work on it, the editor who actually moved it there is John from Idegon. I also did ask about the article at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Military history, but so far the only response received has not been favorable. There was also something posted at Draft talk:Elizabeth L. Gardner#notability which also comments on the subject.
If you feel that Gardner should have a Wikipedia article written about her, then you're going to have to establish how she satisfies WP:BIO or WP:GNG. I looked for more reliable sources about her, but I'm didn't find any significant coverage about her which could be used to help establish Wikipedia notability. Without showing that such sources at least exist, it's going to be hard to convince the Wikipedia community that she is Wikipedia notable for a stand-alone article to be written about her. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:07, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
