Non-free rationale for File:Westcor logo.png

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Westcor logo.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make arequest for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. File source problem with File:Welcome to mecca.JPG
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Welcome to mecca.JPG. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so thecopyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. - I did refer to the image policy when I uploaded this six years ago. Only the author was required at that point. I have been editing Wikipedia since 2005 and know what can and cannot go on Wikipedia. I don't really have the time to track every time the lawyers get a bug and tweak the upload rules again to add some other miniscule bit of information. There have been over 700 changes to the Image Use Policy page in the half a decade since I upload the image and over 1000 since the Image Use Policy was created.
- I updated it on Commons to follow the more recent guidelines. That should be good for a couple of months until the policy changes again.

I think I started on reworking that section at one point, but then had to save (more like bury) it to disk and move on, perhaps to be resurrected at some point. Wikipedia has no time limit, right? Anyway, the paragraph talks about rural Alaska, so the source doesn't quite fit in. The rural hub communities have weekly newspapers, so I'm sure a more appropriate source can be found. Lyman Hoffman introduced himself to his new constituents in the Fairbanks area last summer by pointing out that Bethel has been paying ~$9.00 a gallon for fuel for a good long time. My daughter's aunt was quoted in the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner in 2004 regarding the cost of fuel shooting up to ~$8.00 a gallon in that village (which I shouldn't name as it may identify me, but it's considerably smaller and more remote than Bethel). - Daily average number of views an article's had over the past 14 days.
- Quality
- Predicted article quality on a 1- to 3-star scale. Placing your cursor over the stars should give you a pop-up describing the article's quality (Low/Medium/High), current assessment class, and predicted assessment class.
The method we use to predict article quality also allows us to assess whether an article might need specific types of work in order to improve its quality. The work needed might not correspond to cleanup tags added to the article, since our method is not based on those. We have added five columns reflecting this work assessment, where a red X indicates improvement is needed. Placing your cursor over an X should give you a pop-up with a short description of the work needed. The five columns seek to answer the following five questions:
- Content
- Is more content needed?
- Headings
- Does this article have an appropriate section structure?
- Images
- Is the number of illustrative images about right?
- Links
- Does this article link to enough other Wikipedia articles?
- Sources
- For its length, is there an appropriate number of citations to sources in this article?

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletionprocess can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reachconsensus for deletion.
