12th Chief Engraver Start of Tenure?

It is unclear whether the 12th Chief Engraver John Mercanti began his tenure in 2006 ^[1] or 2009 ^[2] I can't find any other reliable sources to verify either of these dates. Ron 1 (talk) 03:57, 5 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
