Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Gino Lopinto
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Gino Lopinto, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. [edit]Managing a conflict of interest
[edit]Hello, EntertainmentWatchdog. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Draft:E11EVEN Miami, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam#External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Kleuske (talk) 15:00, 6 October 2021 (UTC)
Hey Kleuske, I don’t know anyone at E11EVEN Miami and every information I got has been from articles and real life being in the entertainment industry. I was shocked to see that night life isn’t really covered on Wikipedia. My next goal is to cover and make articles based on the history of nightlife all the way back to Charlie Chaplin. My niche as an entertainment connoisseur sour EntertainmentWatchdog (talk) 15:03, 6 October 2021 (UTC)

[edit]E11Even Miami moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, E11Even Miami, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. WP:AIV
[edit]I removed your report at WP:AIV concerning GPL93. AIV is only meant for simple cases of vandalism. However, I encourage you to talk things out with GPL instead of reporting them.
@GPL93: I think this user is here in good faith. For that reason, I also removed your report. If either of you want to escalate this dispute, then the next step would be WP:AN/I. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 16:22, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
Thank you! EntertainmentWatchdog (talk) 16:27, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- Of course!
- Btw, I'm taking a look at Draft:E11Even Miami. I think that I can get it mostly ready for mainspace if I do a merge with Draft:Gino Lopinto. I do think you are right that the club is definitely notable, but I am less certain about Gino Lopinto (who to my understanding did not even found the club). –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 16:35, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
Upon my research Dennis DeGori or Digori cofounded the club with Gino Lopinto and like 5 or 6 other partners. It’s on their website and other news but I couldn’t cite due to some appearing as press releases. EntertainmentWatchdog (talk)
- @MJL: Yeah, except the editor has been an SPA towards this one subject and who's only other edits have been to try to draftify and propose for deletion two articles that I created. By what I assume is not pure coincidence, the editor started on this topic on the same day that another editor began uploading photos that look like they are straight out of an advertisement. I agree with Kleuske's initial assessment that this is likely a COI editor. Best, GPL93 (talk) 16:58, 14 October 2021 (UTC)
- @GPL93: I think EW was just being salty with the proposed deletions. I doubt it will happen again. Honestly, if this user has a COI, then that certainly would not be the type of thing I'd expect (though it wouldn't be the most outlandish thing). –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 17:32, 14 October 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of User:EntertainmentWatchdog
[edit]A tag has been placed on User:EntertainmentWatchdog requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. The article Tai Savetsila has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No indication of Notability, and a News search does not find an in-depth coverage at all.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Gronk Oz (talk) 05:04, 9 November 2021 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for June 19
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited RoccStar, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Neyo. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Speedy deletion nomination of Marcus Shirock
[edit]Hello EntertainmentWatchdog,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Marcus Shirock for deletion, because it's a redirect from an article title to a namespace that's not for articles.
If you don't want Marcus Shirock to be deleted, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

While your contributions are appreciated, I wanted to let you know that I've started a discussion about whether an article that you created, Quantum Swap AI, should be deleted, as I am not sure that it is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia in its current form. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Quantum Swap AI.

The most common issue in these discussions is notability, but it's not the only aspect that may be discussed; read the nomination and any other comments carefully before you contribute to the discussion. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
