[edit]Hello, I'm AviationFreak. I noticed that you recently removed content from Greeks without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. 2020 Armenian–Azerbaijani clashes
[edit]Please stop attacking other editors, as you did on 2020 Armenian–Azerbaijani clashes. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. GevHev4 (talk) 15:00, 31 July 2020 (UTC)
- Did not attack the other editor in any sort of way. I reverted his edit due to him making a false edit without proper sources — Preceding unsigned comment added by El Greekos (talk • contribs) 15:09, 31 July 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Shadow4dark. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, List of Turkish Armed Forces operations in Northern Iraq, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Shadow4dark (talk) 05:59, 22 September 2020 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Operations Claw-Eagle and Tiger, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Shadow4dark (talk) 06:01, 22 September 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to add unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did at List of military equipment of Cyprus, you may be blocked from editing. FDW777 (talk) 08:26, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at List of military equipment of Cyprus. FDW777 (talk) 13:44, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. FDW777 (talk) 19:21, 4 December 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Your recent editing history at List of aircraft shootdowns shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
please discuss the issue at the article talk page rather than edit warring.Nigel Ish (talk) 21:56, 15 April 2021 (UTC)

Request reason:
I should be unblocked as I wasn't attacking an editor, for one he was not an actual account and was edit warring due to being biased with one side. That is against wiki rules and you are allowed to call them out for it and tell them to stop and I had already gave a warning before which was ignored. I have been editing for a long time now and don't want to see that all go away due to a bad incident that I promise that won't happen again.. I can promise that it won't happen again but one side should not be punished for something both sides did which I admit what I did was a bit too far. Thank you for your time. El Greekos (talk) 18:51, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
Decline reason:
When editing in contentious topic areas such as Armenia, Azerbaijan, or related ethnic conflicts, careful adherence to the community's policies is required. You have been informed about these policies and acknowledged reading the message in Special:Diff/970479888, which seems to have been about Special:Diff/970478164, accusing someone of ethnicity-influenced editing and bias. Pretty exactly one year later, you did the very same in Special:Diff/1036227275. This alone justifies the current block, as you have used Wikipedia as a battleground and repeated the same behavior you had previously been warned about, so warnings alone don't seem to have a preventative effect. In addition, the list of warnings given to you by other editors above this message is so extensive that my main concern is why you have not been blocked earlier. If your attitude about this community and the encyclopedia ever significantly changes, you may be welcomed back per the standard offer one day, ideally explicitly agreeing to a topic ban from Armenia, Azerbaijan and related ethnic conflicts, broadly construed, as a binding unblock condition. This won't happen in 2021, though. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 10:43, 15 August 2021 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Why are you making blatant lies now? About a year ago i was not warned for the same reason, I reverted an edit which caused an edit war as the other person did not provide a source to their edit. It has nothing to do with now showing I never repeated the same action. The other warnings on my talk page majority are not from admins but other regular editors where I can just delete it anytime since their opinion is irrelevant to what moderators say. If you are going to look at past warnings and use that as an excuse to block me from editing then research them more and see who made these messages. So I never repeated the same instance and I request you relook into this carefully instead of blocking blatanly.

[edit]El Greekos, the edit summary at this edit is very concerning, as is "not an actual account" in your unblock request. What is your understanding of the value of IP contributions? —valereee (talk) 22:03, 30 July 2021 (UTC)
- I understand IP editors contribute hugely but there are many that aren't actual dedicated editors and sometimes abuse that power and also use it to avoid bans and reports and use it to their advantage such as the situation I am talking about. As seen they posted blatant bias and racism toward another ethnic group in the talk page and got away with it while at the same time reported me for that reason because I called out their bias.El Greekos (talk) 13:44, 3 August 2021 (UTC)
- El Greekos, yes, some IP editors do cause problems with vandalism, but by far most IP edits are well-intentioned and helpful, and WP does consider them actual editors. When an edit is arguably not actual vandalism, the default answer should always be to invite the IP to discuss their edit at the talk page and perhaps also invite them on the IP's user talk to register an account. Leaping immediately to accusations of ethnic bias and implying they shouldn't be editing at all without an account is a problem. If an IP turns out to be problematic, report it at an appropriate noticeboard such as WP:AIV or WP:ANI.
- Read WP:GAB and revise your unblock request to focus on what you were blocked for and the fact it won't happen again. Leave out other editors' behavior, it doesn't matter to an unblock request. —valereee (talk) 18:37, 3 August 2021 (UTC)
Ok thank you, I took off that part in my unblock request. I do apologize for lashing out at another editor and you are right I should take it to talk next time and be patient and let the admins handle it. I can promise to do that next time instead of accusing someone else of bias. I understand IP editors contribute a lot with only minor scales of vandalism happening.El Greekos (talk) 14:12, 10 August 2021 (UTC)
