Hey! Would you mind adding a dark colored background to your signature or making the font color darker? It's a bit hard to read against the white background of Wikipedia and can present some accessibility issues. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:04, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks so much for letting me know, I hadn't considered that! Hope this is better, and I'll work on making it better later :) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 18:20, 20 October 2022 (UTC)
- Yes that is much better thank you. I don't really have any issues with my vision and even I had trouble seeing it. ― Blaze WolfTalkBlaze Wolf#6545 18:29, 20 October 2022 (UTC)

Myma
- Hi... I noticed that you have made changes in Myma wikipedia page. But I would like to tell you that, the Myma you are referring to is a complete different thing.
- In India, there is an mobile app which is also called as Myma Meals Pvt. Ltd. OR Myma Platform.
- https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mymameals.mainapp - you can check this link.
- and so I humbly request you to please restore changes I have made. I am trying create a wikipedia page for Myma Company and not any food dish. (Infact, in India nobody even have an idea about the greek food dish called myma) PratikshaKulkarni24 (talk) 12:54, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
- You overwrote an existing article, if you wish to add a new article, please create a new draft at Draft:Myma Platform. Check out Help:Your first article for more information, and happy writing! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 13:50, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
2011 MLB season edits
I removed the Game 162 content from the season page, since I created a separate page for that information. Rk2021 (talk) 14:48, 3 November 2022 (UTC)
- Sounds good, thanks! In the future make sure that you add an appropriate edit summary to explain such changes. Thank you for your contributions! (also, just realized I put the wrong reason in the edit summary– it was supposed to be unexplained removal of content as seen in the warning, sorry!) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:50, 3 November 2022 (UTC)

ArbCom 2022 Elections voter message
Hello! Voting in the 2022 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 12 December 2022. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2022 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}}

Declined G13
I've declined the G13 tag you applied. G13 is not at all applicable here. Please familiarize yourself with the speedy deletion criteria before applying the tag. -- Whpq (talk) 02:00, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Is there something I'm missing here? I did just realize I made a slight miscalculation and it had only been 5 months since the last edit (disregarding mine), but otherwise how does that not meet the G13 criteria? Thanks! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:04, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- G13 counts the last human edit excluding CSD tagging. You made this edit which resets the clock. So your calculations are off by 6 months. We have a bot that tags stale drafts for G13. There really is no need for a human editor to do it. -- Whpq (talk) 02:20, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Wasn't aware of that, thanks! I shouldn't have made my original edit, I did it then noticed how long it had been, which at that point it was too late I guess... thanks nonetheless! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:23, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

I searched for a way to cite in a table, and I believe that putting the ISBN is the proper way to do it for an author. Am I wrong? Is there a preferred other way? Blacktigrs (talk) 01:26, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
- Generally, unless an author has written many books, a table isn't really needed. If working with a table, which I don't think is really needed in that situation, something like what is done on J. K. Rowling#Bibliography would work. In this situation, something like what is found on James Patterson bibliography may suit better, especially if going off of ISBNs. You still should ensure there are proper outside sources aside from ISBNs of course. Please let me know if you have any questions! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 01:44, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
- From what I can tell, the author's own page doesn't work as an "outside source". Amazon is a trusted one, but since it's a self-report of a site that sells things, I am not sure it works in this case.
- I do believe that a table works here because he has both books and short fiction and different target ranges, like Rowling. (But I am a wikipedia newbie, so will take suggestions to heart.) Blacktigrs (talk) 02:32, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
- A author's own website should work! Taking generic information such as that is alright.
- If you think a table would work best, go for it! General formatting things can also be discussed on the article's talk page as well, but as it isn't likely to be viewed right away, feel free to come to me with any further things! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:41, 4 January 2023 (UTC)
- Okay. I'll link to his website, then. Thanks. Blacktigrs (talk) 03:00, 4 January 2023 (UTC)

Special:WantedTemplates
Hi, I have been cleaning up Special:WantedTemplates and noticed that your javascript page is showing up in Special:WhatLinksHere/Template:') && string.endsWith('. This is because the backend software is parsing the curly braces as templates. An easy way to fix this is to put
// <nowiki>
at the top of your script, and
// </nowiki>
at the bottom of your script. This won't impact the functionality, since they are in javascript comments, but will remove the pages from Special:WantedTemplates. Thanks in advance for your help! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 00:18, 5 January 2023 (UTC)

Changes to Kenjgewin Teg page
Hello. The recent changes I made to the Kenjgewin Teg page were simply facts. A lot of the information is outdated and I was attempting to update it. I work at Kenjgewin Teg at the marketing and communication manager. The changes were not my opinions as suggested, but updates. Kenjgewin Teg (talk) 14:41, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- If that is the case, you have a conflict of interest. If making changes, you need to provide accurate citations and use a neutral point of view. I'll post more information on your talk page. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:47, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Kenjgewin Teg In addition, your username violates Wikipedia's username policy. I've posted further information regarding that on your talk page as well. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:49, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- While I appreciate your passion to ensure that information on the Kenjgewin Teg page is from a neutral point of view, the programs that Kenjgewin Teg offers, the proper name of the acting president, and who can access our programs are facts and not opinions. Kenjgewin Teg (talk) 14:51, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- As previously stated, while the information may be accurate, it must be presented in a neutral point of view and with a neutral tone per policy. It isn't something that just I wish to uphold, it is a core part of Wikipedia, and if it isn't followed, content will be reverted. Please read the messages I've left on your talk page regarding that. If you have further questions, feel free to ask. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:56, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- How would I go about ensuring the information is correct on the page if it is a conflict of interest for me to edit it? Kenjgewin Teg (talk) 15:00, 5 January 2023 (UTC)
- Again, please read the messages on your talk page. You are required to:
- Change your username
- Disclose your COI
- If you edit the article, there is a very high change that your edit will be reverted unless you properly follow all guidelines. Instead, you should propose edit requests. See WP:COIEDIT. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 15:05, 5 January 2023 (UTC)

Will series page
Hello, why was my edit deleted from the page ? There are multiple mistakes such as the location of the series and some actors missing that I added and added the links with it. United States is wrong and it was filmed in United Kingdom and I have many links as I shared that proved it. There is a lot of other mistakes and not only the location. Edward Hayter is an actor who played Thomas Walsingham and was also removed of the actors. People need to find him and there is so much content I added with proof that also was removed. 207.253.67.127 (talk) 02:16, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
- Those edits are fine, as long as they are properly referenced. However, you also added many inappropriate external links and unimportant information, which shouldn't be present on the article. Please also check out a guide to citing sources. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:23, 8 January 2023 (UTC)
- I've corrected the country of origin, but did not add Edward Hayter to the cast list in the infobox, as he is listed in the article (and doesn't appear to "star"). ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:27, 8 January 2023 (UTC)

Lišov
Hello, thank you for listening to my request to move Lišov. Unfortunately, Lišov now refers to disambiguation pages on other Wikipedia, and the link to the town remained on what is now the redirect. Would you know what to do with it? Thanks in advance. FromCzech (talk) 19:39, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't quite understand what you are talking about. Where do you see this? ~ Eejit43 (talk) 20:00, 9 January 2023 (UTC)
- If you want to go from Lišov to the Czech mutation of Wikipedia, there is no link in Languages menu. It is connected with Lišov disambiguations pages on other wikipedias, not with the town. If you will go from cs:Lišov to English Wikipedia, it links to Lišov (České Budějovice District), not to the newly created Lišov. I don't know if I'm expressing myself clearly, just try it and you will see. FromCzech (talk) 05:58, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion declined: Draft:Mile Phakphum Romsaithong
Hello Eejit43. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Draft:Mile Phakphum Romsaithong, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Not unambiguously promotional. Thank you. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 22:18, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- @Ivanvector the article was previously made under Draft:Phakphum Romsaithong, and is simply a recreation. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 22:20, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for that. I looked into it a bit more, and I still land on the opinion that it is not unambiguously promotional, which the guideline describes as "pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to serve as encyclopedia articles" (emphasis in original). My interpretation is that "unambiguously" means that the page reads as a literal advertisement, and serves no other purpose. This draft at least on the surface appears to describe the subject in neutral tone with an encyclopedic layout. It might turn out after a proper discussion and review of the sources that the subject is not notable and the draft should be deleted, but it is not the purpose of speedy deletion to bypass that process. It was deleted previously because the author requested it, so WP:G4 also does not apply. I am going to restore the other copies and merge their histories with the existing draft, and if you still think that the draft should be deleted, please list at WP:MFD and explain why. Thanks. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 22:42, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

Reverting edits 15 January 2023
Hello Eejit43, I am questioning your reversion of edits made to the High School of Performing Arts page. I am a member of the Board of Directors for the High School of Performing Arts Alumni Association. The External Link that was added is a verified Website created by the HSPAA. It should be added because it DOES contain FURTHER RESEARCH that is ON-TOPIC, and has MEANINGFUL, RELEVANT CONTENT. In addition, the website that was removed, www.highschoolofperformingarts.com is a website constructed by a Board Member who passed away 4 years ago. If you were to look at the website, you would see that it has been completely corrupted, and has absolutely no relevance to the High School of Performing Arts. Unfortunately, the deceased Member's wife has no way to access the website or remove it from the web. The new site, which I inserted today, was commissioned by HSPAA to replace the defunct one on the WIKIPEDIA page. If you were to look at the new website, you would see that it provides a full history of our beloved school, along with the capability to find and connect with almost every student who attended Performing Arts. HSPAA is a totally non-profit organization, committed to preserving the history of this great institution. The website gives a much deeper insight into the history of the High School of Performing Arts and therefore belongs as an External Link on the Wikipedia page. Thank you, HSPAABoard HSPAABoard (talk) 03:09, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
- @HSPAABoard Adding the link in four separate locations is entirely unnecessary, and the placement didn't make much sense. Additionally, if that is for an alumni-specific website, and not for the actual school, then it shouldn't be listed as the main website. Feel free to add it back to external links if you wish, but it likely isn't appropriate anywhere else.
- Also, you most certainly have a conflict of interest, and your username is a blatant violation of the username policy. Check your talk page for more information. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 03:17, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for your quick response. The website is not just alumni-specific. It is the only website existent that has accurate historical text and photos regarding the school. As I said, the website that currently is in the "Information Box" is corrupted and offers no relevant information on the school.
- Also, thank you for your advise re: WIKI usernames. I will address this. Thanks for your vigilance! HSPAABoard (talk) 03:58, 16 January 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you! I've added that to the "External links" section and updated the infobox link. I agree with you, it is probably better than having a dead link, even if it is mostly just a historical site. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 04:08, 16 January 2023 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi Eejit43. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Please keep the following things in mind while using rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle or RedWarn.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into trouble or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! —Femke 🐦 (talk) 17:11, 25 January 2023 (UTC)
Welcome!
Hi, and welcome to WikiProject Articles for creation! We are a group of editors who work together on the Articles for creation and Files for upload pages.
A few tips that you might find helpful:
- Please take time to fully read the reviewers' instructions before reviewing submissions.
- The reviewers' talk page is the best place to ask for help or advice. You might like to watchlist this page, and you are encouraged to take part in any discussion that comes up.
- Article submissions that need reviewing can be found in Category:Pending AfC submissions and there is also a useful list which is maintained by a bot.
- You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions. There is also a project userbox. If you haven't done so already, please consider adding your name to the list of participants.
- Several of our members monitor Wikipedia's help IRC channel, and you are welcome to join in to ask Wikipedia-related questions.
- The IRC channel #wikipedia-en-afc connect is used occasionally for internal discussion regarding the Articles for creation process, and also serves as a recent changes feed, displaying all edits made in the Articles for creation namespace.
- The help desk is the place where new editors can ask questions about their submissions. You are welcome to help in answering their questions.
Once again, welcome to the project. ❯❯❯ Raydann(Talk) 17:53, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

Erroneous move of J. P. Stevens High School
The article J. P. Stevens High School was moved to John P. Stevens High School. Wikipedia should match WP:COMMONNAME as Google search shows "J. P. Stevens High School" to be the far more common usage. The name had been stable for years and was moved under the specious claim that an uncontroversial "misspelling" was being fixed; this is *NOT* an uncontroversial misspelling.. Wikipedia uses the common name as the title, which is why the article for William Jefferson Clinton is titled Bill Clinton. Alansohn (talk) 02:03, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
- When I originally looked at the RM/T request, the results seemed to be almost half and half. Considering "John P. Stevens High School" is the official name, I opted to accept the request. As this is contested, I'll revert it, and the original requester can open a RM.
- @Bricks&Wood courtesy ping as the original requester. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:10, 30 January 2023 (UTC)
Tech News: 2023-05
Latest tech news from the Wikimedia technical community. Please tell other users about these changes. Not all changes will affect you. Translations are available.
Problems
- Last week, for ~15 minutes, some users were unable to log in or edit pages. This was caused by a problem with session storage. [1]
Changes later this week
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 31 January. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 1 February. It will be on all wikis from 2 February (calendar).
Future changes
- Wikis that use localized numbering schemes for references need to add new CSS. This will help to show citation numbers the same way in all reading and editing modes. If your wiki would prefer to do it yourselves, please see the details and example CSS to copy from, and also add your wiki to the list. Otherwise, the developers will directly help out starting the week of February 5.

Eejit43, closing that discussion as "no consensus" without any nuance is way, way worse than a fourth relist. Nobody is satisfied with the status quo, and your closure is preserving an option that nobody is advocating for. Because deletion is a reasonable closure, this needs to be left to an admin who has the ability to carry out a "delete" result. Per WP:BADNAC A non-admin closure is not appropriate [when] the outcome is a close call (especially where there are several valid outcomes)
. Therefore, I recommend you reverse your closure. Additionally, I'm confused why you're trying to clerk at a place where you have little-to-no experience? RfD needs more editors participating in discussions, but it really doesn't need much help clerking at the moment. It's clear you're not reading the required guidance before diving in, so I recommend you slow down and get some more experience first. -- Tavix (talk) 16:17, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
- I note that an uninvolved editor has reopened the discussion, so my request to reopen the discussion is now moot. -- Tavix (talk) 23:41, 31 January 2023 (UTC)
Thanks a lot for your work at WP:AFCRC. I've been less active here lately with CfD work, so having more AFCRC reviewers is great. — Qwerfjkltalk 11:32, 1 February 2023 (UTC)

SS Formia Calcio
Why was my edits removed to the SS Formia Calcio page? All information was accurate. I’m new to this. Amasiello (talk) 05:04, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Amasiello You removed a few categories, and the name changes without references are really not a good thing to do.
- You also removed templates, like {{short description}} and {{use dmy dates}}, which I'll add back.
- Also, you cannot self-reference Wikipedia, even if it is the italian Wikipedia. You need to cite separate reliable sources.
- Lastly, in the future when making talk page messages, it is best to create a new topic rather than replying to an old one, so conversations don't get mixed up. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 12:32, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
- Also @Amasiello, if you want to move a page, you can't do so simply in the visual editor. Use the move option in the dropdown menu on the page, or if you are unable to, make a request at WP:RM/TR. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 12:35, 2 February 2023 (UTC)
Warlord CCG links
Hey there,
I’m writing about the warlord ccg links. The current links in the articles are all very irrelevant to the current state of the game. The Wiki is in need of a lot of updating, and while this is new to me, I thought I would start with linking relevant content to anyone interested in learning more about the game and actually playing the game.
They were all resources that would be useful to anyone interested in the Warlord CCG. At the moment, it’s important to note that the game is completely player-maintained, so unfortunately there is no business to link to for official information.
Thanks for your time and consideration. 2601:589:4C80:E910:A548:CA19:5A09:CFA1 (talk) 15:17, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- It is not appropriate to add links to personal discord servers, facebook groups, personal websites, etc. See WP:ELNO. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 15:22, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
- I've added the link to "www.sagaofthestorm.com" however, that one is reasonable. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 15:33, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
AFCRC redirects
I think that two redirects you acccepted, Ketnipz and MeatCanyon, should be deleted per Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 November 20#Technoblade (and others). Also, the user who requested the redirects, 104.153.242.132, was evading a block. — Qwerfjkltalk 14:47, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Qwerfjkl thanks, I wasn't aware of that! I've requested speedy deletion of both as author's request. Sorry about that! :) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 15:33, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- No problem. I made most (if not all) of the redirects at the RfD. — Qwerfjkltalk 16:58, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

Recent changes
- In the Vector 2022 skin, logged-out users using the full-width toggle will be able to see the setting of their choice even after refreshing pages or opening new ones. This only applies to wikis where Vector 2022 is the default. [2]
Changes later this week
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 7 February. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 8 February. It will be on all wikis from 9 February (calendar).
- Previously, we announced when some wikis would be in read-only for a few minutes because of a switch of their main database. These switches will not be announced any more, as the read-only time has become non-significant. Switches will continue to happen at 7AM UTC on Tuesdays and Thursdays. [3]
- Across all the wikis, in the Vector 2022 skin, logged-in users will see the page-related links such as "What links here" in a new side menu. It will be displayed on the other side of the screen. This change had previously been made on Czech, English, and Vietnamese Wikipedias. [4]
- Community Wishlist Survey 2023 will stop receiving new proposals on Monday, 6 February 2023, at 18:00 UTC. Proposers should complete any edits by then, to give time for translations and review. Voting will begin on Friday, 10 February.
Future changes
- Gadgets and user scripts will be changing to load on desktop and mobile sites. Previously they would only load on the desktop site. It is recommended that wiki administrators audit the gadget definitions prior to this change, and add
skins=…
for any gadgets which should not load on mobile. More details are available.

Alphabetical order of entries in a category
Hi Eejit43! thanks for quick assistance with my proposed new category "English-language writers from Bulgaria". Unfortunately the four linked entries under the letter "E" are misplaced. Not only Bulgaria (should be under B), but also three others. Thanks for the corrections! --Baekemm (talk) 16:10, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Baekemm fixed all of those, thanks for pointing that out! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 16:12, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
RMT 'done'
Hey. Did you mean to 'do' this? I assume you might have wanted to per edit summary, but I don't particularly agree with the request, and the page wasn't moved. Silikonz💬 16:14, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- I moved Record Of The Year to Record of the Year (disambiguation) as I agreed with your message. I then redirected Record Of The Year to Grammy Award for Record of the Year. Sorry I didn't leave a very informative edit summary, I'm going to revert that and properly explain what I had done, as I don't agree with moving the page as stated either. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 16:18, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
- That's alright. Silikonz💬 16:21, 6 February 2023 (UTC)
Sorry about that - I can now see that by including "{{short description|}}" in my "boilerplate for new stubs" I'm creating a duplicate field when I add a SD later. I've removed that line from my boilerplate. Thanks. PamD 20:49, 6 February 2023 (UTC)

Please reverse this. "ProtonMail" gets an order of magnitude more results than "Proton Mail" via Google search. - UtherSRG (talk) 16:33, 7 February 2023 (UTC)
- @UtherSRG done! Based on the quick google search I made I saw far more usage of "Proton Mail" (using Brave), and didn't use Google Trends as it always has redirect issues for me. Thanks! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 16:39, 7 February 2023 (UTC)

New page reviewer granted
Hi Eejit43. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Please check back at WP:PERM in case your user right is time limited or probationary. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encyclopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
- Be nice to new editors. They are usually not aware that they are doing anything wrong. Do make use of the message feature when tagging pages for maintenance so that they are aware.
- You will frequently be asked by users to explain why their page is being deleted. Please be formal and polite in your approach to them – even if they are not.
- If you are not sure what to do with a page, don't review it – just leave it for another reviewer.
- Accuracy is more important than speed. Take your time to patrol each page. Use the message feature to communicate with article creators and offer advice as much as possible.
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. "There are only two sources listed, one which is the official website and therefore not reliable, and Crunchbase, which is not a reliable source." But how is the official website not reliable, it is more likely to be correct because companies know may more about themselves than others. WPchanger2011 (talk) 01:28, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

- @WPchanger2011 Thank you for the clarification. You can't build an entire article off an official website. Notability needs to be proven, and official websites are obviously biased in the way they present information. See WP:GNG, WP:RS, and maybe check out H:YFA. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 01:51, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- So does that mean you cannot use biased sources? Thank you for the links, too. WPchanger2011 (talk) 01:55, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Nope, that isn't the case (WP:BIASEDSOURCES), yet per WP:PRIMARY as well as WP:SELFPUB, the official website really shouldn't be used in that case, and certainly won't help prove notability in order to pass the AfC process. However, there does seem to be quite a few secondary sources not used in the article which would be reliable. :) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:02, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for having the link for making me understand WP:SELFPUB. However, is it that you know there are some secondary sources for the article that I can use? If yes, are you able to add it? WPchanger2011 (talk) 02:08, 12 February 2023 (UTC)
- I'm sorry but I don't have time nor do I have a particular interest in contributing to the article right now. Doing a quick google (or the search engine of your choice) search, there are a few more results. However, I'm not saying adding those will make the submission be able to pass. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 02:18, 12 February 2023 (UTC)

Newcastle University Medical School
Hi Eejit43,
I recently noticed your comment regarding the change to the Newcastle University Medical School Page. I would have to argue your point that WP:COMMONNAME applies in this case, given that the names for other UK medical schools that use the 'school of medicine' title (including but not limited to the universities of Cardiff, Leeds, Liverpool and Imperial College London) correctly display this on their respective Wikipedia pages. The name Newcastle University Medical School in this instance would not be the most commonly recognised title either, given that its previous title 'Newcastle University School of Medical Education' was in common use prior to its renaming. In keeping with accuracy and current usage of the term, I would still make the case that 'Newcastle University School of Medicine' would best represent the medical school, especially considering how it is clearly named as such on University webpages.
I hope this clarifies things.
Thanks 82.10.74.64 (talk) 22:12, 13 February 2023 (UTC)

NA-57 Rawalpindi-VI page
Hello Eejit43, Hope you're doing well. I request you to move NA-57 (Rawalpindi-VI) page to NA-57 Rawalpindi-VI and make NA-57 (Rawalpindi-VI) redirect page. Thank you. Saad Ali Khan Pakistan (talk) 16:57, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Saad Ali Khan Pakistan remind me your reasoning for removing the parentheses? If it is the proper naming, it should have the brackets, not just for "easy access". ~ Eejit43 (talk) 17:31, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- Eejit43 Recently Lok Sabha and State assemblies of India pages has removed parenthesis for uniform suffix. I also wishing to apply same rule on Pakistani constituencies to give a uniform suffix as well Saad Ali Khan Pakistan (talk) 17:58, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Muzzzmuzzmuzzz wanted to quickly get your input on this, as it seems you added back the parentheses before. If this needs further discussion, @Saad Ali Khan Pakistan, a move request can be opened. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 18:21, 14 February 2023 (UTC)

If Saad wants to remove the parentheses, I have no problem with it. I reverted the first time because it was unclear why the parentheses were removed. Hope this clears up some of the confusion! Muzzzmuzzmuzzz (talk) 19:40, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- It does, thank you! :) @Saad Ali Khan Pakistan I'll make the move. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 19:41, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
FYI regarding your script...
FYI, your script did not retain or recreate Talk:Sexy Nukim (song) after it performed the WP:ROUNDROBIN move, so I recreated it. Take care when performing round robin moves; I learned early on about it potentially causing missing talk page redirects if not done properly. Steel1943 (talk) 20:26, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
- A very annoying thing about pageswap... sorry I was just about to recreate the talk page when my internet cut out. And no, I'm not making that up :) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 20:46, 14 February 2023 (UTC)
Trying?
I just installed your script and I hope I have a good experience with that. ─ The Aafī (talk) 16:26, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- I'd be glad if you can help me set some en-wiki scripts on Urdu Wikipedia and guide me what should be done if I want those to work there appropriately. For instance, the discussions closer, XfD closer, Twinkle etc. ─ The Aafī (talk) 16:29, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
- @TheAafi Good luck with that, and let me know if you have any issues!
- Do you have any specific issues on the Urdu Wikipedia? You might want to bring up specific issues to the original script creators/maintainers. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 16:38, 15 February 2023 (UTC)

1 Hello you can put up for removal. By mistake, made a redirection. Товболатов (talk) 13:21, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Товболатов seeing as the page was moved, the redirect should exist to prevent breaking links. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 13:23, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
Vieta (dish) Eejit43 In this article, the same thing happened. Another participant deleted everything seems to be fine.--Товболатов (talk) 13:28, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Товболатов Sorry what? I'm not sure what you are trying to say. When making page moves, redirects should always be left unless WP:PMRC applies. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 13:32, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- Yes, maybe I'm wrong, I don't understand this, it's true, some kind of bureaucracy. Eejit43 Thank you.--Товболатов (talk) 13:36, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
Paid disclosure
I'm not certain that it is a good idea to make paid disclosures for other users(like Digitizemuseumcollections) especially if they haven't reached out to request help in doing so. And in that case, "CatalogIt" was the name of the service offered by the company called "Unlimited Inc". 331dot (talk) 01:42, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- @331dot I only simply copied the template they mistakenly added to Draft:CatalogIt, especially as they seemed to be confused after the discussion on their talk page. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 01:51, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- I guess it depends. 331dot (talk) 09:10, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
Contested move of 2026 Swedish general election and related pages
Could you clarify the reasoning behind these moves for me? If anything, the rationale "The next election might happen before 2026" is to me a good reason to not move the pages, as a move amounts to WP:CRYSTAL. (Even if there is a snap election there will be a September 2026 election.) There was an ongoing discussion in the Contested technical requests which makes me even more surprised when the articles were moved. Sjö (talk) 15:13, 17 February 2023 (UTC)

Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests
Hi, can you confirm what your script for Wikipedia:Requested moves/Technical requests actually does to contested requests? As typically we would open an RM unless it's explicitly been set to not do in the request by pressing the "discuss" link, and copy in the comments from RMTR. Normally I'd only simply remove them completely if it was a decline or there was already discussion of opening an RM. Cheers. -Kj cheetham (talk) 13:57, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Kj cheetham generally I'm not a huge fan of creating RMs without being the original requester. However, I tend to watch it, and if an RM isn't created (and it seems like it might pass), I might open one and/or contact the original requester. For example, the move of F10 (incubator) I was not planning on opening as as there is no way it would pass. 2021 Kazakh local legislative elections on the other hand, I was planning on monitoring. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:01, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- I'd recommend at the very least leaving them in place for more than a few hours before removing them, as some editors will miss the responses. -Kj cheetham (talk) 18:41, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- I don't really see an issue as I always make sure to ping the user, ensuring they will get a notification. Nonetheless, I'll try to leave them for a little longer in the future! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 19:26, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
- As an example, the "Transport in Greater Mexico City" one today was removed within hours, and ended up being reposted by the original requester. It's best to give people the chance to actually press the "discuss" button, not just a ping to alert them and remove it. -Kj cheetham (talk) 17:11, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- To be quite honest I don't see the fault in what I did there. It had been a few hours since the last comment, and I can't explain why the requester added it again. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 21:23, 18 February 2023 (UTC)
- From my point of view, you made it harder for the requestor. A few hours is not a long time. When opening an RM after a contested technical move request it can be good practice to include the permalink to the original request and also copy and paste the reasoning why it was contested. -Kj cheetham (talk) 11:38, 19 February 2023 (UTC)

WP:RMT script
Hi, I see your script has just removed a thread from WP:RMT where the move was contested and the discuss= tag was set to yes. However, no discussion was opened at Talk:Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton Park. Seems like this isn't working as it should? 162 etc. (talk) 17:46, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- Looking back, it seems like you have also unilaterally removed threads here [10] and here [11]. This is improper; when discuss= is set to yes, an RM must be opened. 162 etc. (talk) 18:14, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

Editing of Wikipedia
Dear Eejit43 (Talk)
Best Regards...
I, just received a message from you that the edit I made to Ziaul Faruque Apurba's Wikipedia page was not considered constructive by you and has been reverted. Actually, I have tried to correct the information errors in Ziaul Faruque Apurba's BioWiki page and add some additional information about him. Because he is a popular actor, director, model and also a public figure, so his BioWiki should be error-free. And that applies not only to him, but to everyone. Although not only Ziaul Faruque Apurba, I've edited countless other Wikipedias and never received a message like this. Anyways, I personally knew these information about Apurba which are absolutely correct, and so I added the correct information about him. That's all.
Actually, I have never edited Wikipedia to promote my identity, rather it’s only to provide accurate information about a person and a topic. I will definitely try to follow your policies and guidelines when I get some free time. Due to extreme busyness I don't get enough time to do this kind of work on regular basis. Because, I'm a Development Researcher and Human Rights Activist. That's why I'm very much busy with my professional work. Oh well, one more thing, I noticed that the education part of Ziaul Faruque Apurba's BioWiki has again been linked to wrong information, which is completely inappropriate.
Stay well and healthy. Thanks so much.

- @Moniah Ferdaus Khan your edits changed a lot of information without providing a reliable source. Per WP:BLP, this is required when making such changes. These edits also had many errors, such as erroneously adding nowiki tags, breaking the template markup.
- Also, please do not provide your personal contact information. This information could be abused, and has been removed. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:58, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
@Eejit43 (talk)
Thank you very much for your advice. I just wanted to correct the wrong information about actor Apurba. Maybe I made a mistake in some cases and that was the exception to the rule. I'm deeply sorry for that. I have already mailed you some references related to Apurba. Because, I could not link the information to Wikipedia. Stay healthy all the time. Thanks Much and regards. ~Abhilash Moniah
Moniah Ferdaus Khan (talk) 21:08, 22 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Moniah Ferdaus Khan no need to apologise, however when dealing with biographies of living people, changes always need to be reflected by reliable sources, which didn't happen in your latest edit (despite you saying I have already mailed you some references, but I'm not sure what you were referring to there). Check out "Referencing for beginners" to learn how to cite your sources. Additionally, you may benefit from asking some questions at the Teahouse, and I'll leave a proper invitation on your talk page. :) ~ Eejit43 (talk) 03:26, 23 February 2023 (UTC)
About Tulu Film Barke
Dear Sir
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to bring to your attention a recent edit that was made to the Wikipedia page for the Tulu film "Barke".
I had previously corrected some details about the movie, which were subsequently approved by Wikipedia. However, I have noticed that the changes have been reverted and the information has been shortened. I would like to request that the page be rewritten to include the information in the same manner as other Tulu film pages on Wikipedia.
As you are aware, Wikipedia is a valuable source of information for millions of people around the world. It is important that the information presented is accurate and comprehensive. I believe that the page for "Barke" should reflect the same level of detail as other Tulu film pages on Wikipedia.
I would be grateful if you could look into this matter and make the necessary changes to the page. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely, Bharath Krishna India Bharathkidilse (talk) 07:40, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Bharathkidilse your edits added a lot of unreferenced information, and changed existing wording to more promotional language. The entirety of the "Plot" section you added was not in line with how Wikipedia articles should be written, and is much more like an advertisement, such as "The drama of this political crime story is intense, and viewers will be taken on a thrilling ride as they witness the destructive effects of corruption and rowdyism on the lives of those involved." See WP:PROMO. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:43, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
Dear Sir,
Thank you for your prompt response to my previous letter regarding the Wikipedia page for the Tulu film "Barke". I appreciate the time you took to review my previous edits and provide feedback.
I understand your concerns about the unreferenced information I had added and the promotional language used in the "Plot" section. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and would like to assure you that my intention was only to improve the quality of the page.
I appreciate the guidance you have provided regarding how Wikipedia articles should be written and will take this into consideration when making any future edits. I value the importance of maintaining the integrity of Wikipedia as a reliable source of information.
Once again, thank you for your valuable time and feedback. I look forward to seeing the updates to the "Barke" page.
- Bharath Krishna

Speedy deletion nomination of Category:Shopping malls established in 2023
A tag has been placed on Category:Shopping malls established in 2023 indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself. Liz Read! Talk! 01:18, 25 February 2023 (UTC)
- Hello, Eejit43,
- As the CSD notice states,
Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself.
. This goes for articles, templates and categories, do not remove speedy deletion tags from any pages you have created. Once a category that is tagged CSD C1 is no longer empty, another editor can remove the tag from it. We have several editors who regularly scan Category:Empty categories awaiting deletion and untag any categories that are no longer empty. Please observe this rule in the future. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 00:36, 26 February 2023 (UTC)@Liz thank you, I'm sorry I completely forgot about that! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 00:38, 26 February 2023 (UTC)- Actually, per WP:CSD, The creator of a page may remove a speedy deletion tag only if the criterion in question is G6, G7, G8, G13, G14, C1 or U1. /nm ~ Eejit43 (talk) 00:45, 26 February 2023 (UTC)

Nana Kashim Shettima moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Nana Kashim Shettima, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 01:39, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
Incomplete archive move
I think this page, Draft talk:Move/Talk:RepRap project/Archive 1 got left behind in your round robin move of RepRap pages an hour ago. My assumption is that it belongs at Talk:RepRap/Archive 1? Not 100% sure, so I'll let you move it where it needs to go. Best, Zinnober9 (talk) 02:24, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Zinnober9 ah so that's where it went! I was very confused as to where it had gone! Thank you! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 03:37, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- It had an italics error that popped up on my radar, and the page name wasn't typical, so after I saw it was a page move and it looked like you had moved on to other edits, I figured it had been misplaced. Thanks for the reply and completion. Best, Zinnober9 (talk) 04:23, 27 February 2023 (UTC)

Changes to Palmas del Mar page
You rolled back the changes citing advertising/promotional. There was no promotional/advertising on the page. Please revert back to last version. Thank you Hksxp (talk) 22:10, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Hksxp your edits were much more like an advertisment that could be found on a company website. Wikipedia has strict neutral point of view guidelines, which your edits violated. You also added many inappropriate external links to the body of the article, which isn't allowed (WP:ELPOINTS). While your edits weren't entirely "bad", tiny bits of wording contributed to my decision to revert, such as The resort also features, the largest tennis facilities in the Caribbean, and more. Feel free to continue to edit the page, but ensure you keep the aforementioned policies in mind, or your edits may be reverted again. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 22:17, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- I understand the policy, however, none of it was advertisement or promotional though. I have no personal interest in any of the links posted, everything was purely informational. The comment about the resort having the largest tennis facilities in the caribbean is factual and correct. Please point to specific items that were promotional in nature or considered advertisement, I would be happy to review/respond. Thank you Hksxp (talk) 23:10, 27 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Hksxp in that case they need reliable sources. As stated, you are not allowed to add in-article links as you did. In general, you added a lot of unreferenced information, describing what the location has to offer, making it read more like an advertisement. Again, feel free to make further edits, and they will be reviewed. Just ensure you aren't adding inline links (that aren't references), and only providing necessary and constructive information. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 04:10, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
- It is impossible to add "constructive information" AND have a "reference" for each item. Not everything has a reference that you can link to. I will make additional edits but please consider that there are millions of articles on Wikipedia without references for every piece of information as you seem to require here. Hksxp (talk) 11:49, 28 February 2023 (UTC)
- @Hksxp please take further remarks to the Teahouse, rather than here. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:09, 28 February 2023 (UTC)

Wikimedia Foundation project to improve PageTriage
Hi, as an active New Page Patroller, I wanted to make sure you were aware of an upcoming Wikimedia Foundation project to improve the PageTriage extension. We recently published results of user interviews, and have some findings that we would value patrollers' opinions on. Information regarding to Diellas (supermarket)
- Hey Eejit,
- There are limited sources to get information from in the internet, most of the sources are from locals. In my beliefs the page is ok with the information it has, given that Diellas is not a massive supermarket chain. Please let me know your thoughts and what else would you like me to add.
- Thanks in advance,
- George
Gkaridis (talk) 12:50, 4 March 2023 (UTC)

Recent changes
- The Community Wishlist Survey 2023 edition has been concluded. Community Tech has published the results of the survey and will provide an update on what is next in April 2023.
- On wikis which use LanguageConverter to handle multiple writing systems, articles which used custom conversion rules in the wikitext (primarily on Chinese Wikipedia) would have these rules applied inconsistently in the table of contents, especially in the Vector 2022 skin. This has now been fixed. [19]
Changes later this week
- The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 7 March. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 8 March. It will be on all wikis from 9 March (calendar).
- A search system has been added to the Preferences screen. This will let you find different options more easily. Making it work on mobile devices will happen soon. [20]

Draft Categories
I noticed on some of my pages you disabled draft categories in this template
Unless I was using the template wrong it shouldn't have been putting any categories on the pages themselves, it only makes them appear when in mainspace. I put it here as a demonstration, although it might not work exactly as planned due to it being a talk page. Here is another demonstration in draftspace Draft:Demonstration Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (talk to the cutest Wikipedian) 07:02, 10 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Immanuelle remind me, what was the draft(s) in question that I edited? The likely situation is that there were one or two categories not inside that template, adding them to Category:AfC submissions with categories. ~ Eejit43 (talk) 14:26, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

- @Eejit43 weird. But I guess this is resolved with you now. Thank you for your time. Immanuelle ❤️💚💙 (talk to the cutest Wikipedian) 16:03, 10 March 2023 (UTC)

Thanks for fixing the LGBT themes in Greek and Roman mythology page
I accidentally moved it to the wrong page as I was trying to undo edits by that user. They did what I once did, years ago, moving a page to another name without consensus. Since then, I've learned that isn't something you do, but I don't think the user that did this edit today is aware of all the Wikipedia rules. I was even unable to move the List of articles about queer media and characters back to its original name (Lists of LGBT figures in fiction and myth), as I'm not an admit or anything, but I did propose a requested move back to the original name, at least for now. - @Historyday01 I've reverted the undiscussed move. Generally, such moves can be done BOLDly, yet if they could be controversial, RMs are definitely the way to go (and if they are made without discussion, can be reverted). In the future, you can make requests at WP:RM/TR where page movers can revert these moves. Thanks! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 19:25, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
- This editor has done a lot of bold article page moves lately, first on Star Wars articles and now on LGBT articles. Please let me or another admin know if this continues. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 20:35, 11 March 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks, I'll definitely let you or Eejit43 know. Historyday01 (talk) 01:02, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Historyday01 do note I'm not an administrator. I'd happily revert any undiscussed moves as I do have the page mover right, but I can't handle anything beyond that. Thanks! ~ Eejit43 (talk) 01:05, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
- Ah, ok. Thanks for the clarification. Historyday01 (talk) 01:06, 12 March 2023 (UTC)
