Do you know who changed it
Hi, TBrandley. I just finished fixing the theatre film and drama GA listings back to the appropriate way, and it took an hour! That said, do you know who originally changed it so I can explain to them why it was inappropriate? Thanks, TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 21:34, 1 August 2012 (UTC)
Notice about c/e
Hi, TBrandley. Please refrain from editing Grey's Anatomy, as it's being copyedited. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 18:30, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. Finally, a copy-edit. Congrats! TBrandley 20:45, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, Sherlock (TV series)
Thank you for your extensive GA review of Sherlock (TV series), and helping to get it up to GA standard. It's taken many, many hours to get it to that state. I really appreciate your specific advice too, and willingness to make a couple of changes yourself. Thanks again. The JPStalk to me 22:04, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for the recognition. Have you considered getting the article copy-edit so you can go to FAC, and make to article reach Featured Article status? TBrandley 22:07, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Mmm, not sure. FAC is so time-consuming with little benefit to the reader. I think my time could be better spent elsewhere improving Cs to Bs, etc. I think my next ambition, to complete my Steven Moffat set (Sherlock is my fifth Moffat article to achieve GA/FA) is to get Coupling (UK TV series) up to GA (which requires some more work, particularly in the Characters section). The JPStalk to me 22:17, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Good luck. When its ready, I'd be happy to review that. TBrandley 16:13, 6 August 2012 (UTC)

TBrandley, I can say that I am deeply impressed by the gradual change you have been displaying in your quality of editing. Specifically, your GA reviews have gone a long way. You've gone from doing whitewash reviews like this, to highly extensive reviews like this. You have received much criticism throughout your time on Wikipedia, but you have not let it affect your enthusiasm to improve your editing. I hope you continue working hard, and keep trying to excel on Wikipedia! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 22:26, 2 August 2012 (UTC) |
- Thanks! I appreciate the recognition. Typically, I try to take "constructive criticism" rather than taking it as person who is a "hater". TBrandley 22:33, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

- You can't go against Wikipedia guidelines. That is a violation of WP:COPYVIO. That's the problem. TBrandley 22:59, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
REPLY and I explained how it is NOT a copyright violation. When I asked if you and the person who obviously consulted you about this if you wanted me to school you about this and REALLY get into it ha ha, you disappear! I am telling you that this is NON FREE USE, and yeah I'm yelling and if there is a problem with that oh-well I'm also trying to tell you, do you really want to get into this here? How many OTHER television Wikis have you destroyed with this faulty reasoning?68.37.29.229 (talk) 23:14, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- 68.37.29.229, I understand you may be frustrated, but you are getting out of hand. I have warned you about your behavior on your talk page way back in April. I do not know anything about this copyright dispute, but regardless, it should be dealt with by having a discussion, not by leaning towards personal attacks. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:18, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
REPLY asking what other television show entries have been ruined by deleting content is not a personal attack! Neither is typing in all caps, but whatever. I do not appreciate trying to help Wikipedia be good, and having my efforts erased as soon as I post them. You may have time to hang around here all the time but most people do not and they probably, (like myself), do not appreciate taking the time to contribute material to then have it deleted.68.37.29.229 (talk) 23:28, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- Writing in caps is often considered offensive, and should be refrained. Saying "How many OTHER television Wikis have you destroyed with this faulty reasoning?" is insinuating that TBrandley is not editing in good faith, and is leaning towards a personal attack. Did you notice I said "leaning towards" personal attacks? You have not actually reached that point, but you are getting there. If the material you are trying to add is in fact a copyright violation (not saying it is; as I'm not familiar with the current situation), it must be deleted, regardless of how long you spent adding it. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:33, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:NFCC Non Free Content Criteria — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.37.29.229 (talk) 23:51, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
- That page refers to images, not text. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:55, 2 August 2012 (UTC)
BY THE WAY, WP:NFCI is one of the places where non free use is explained. That is why copying and pasting episode descriptions is not a "copyright violation" according to Wikipedia-ok? If you have any more problems with that I suggest that you make an issue out of it instead of trying to divert the discussion into the topic of, (non-existent/imaginary) "personal attacks".68.37.29.229 (talk) 23:31, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

- If you read my summary, it says I was a (talk page stalker). That's a huge personal attack. I don't appreciate your behavior, and I didn't reply because I was "offline". Is that allowed? I now know that you have been blocked for now. And another thing, as non-free content is only for images, not words/text. Your comments can hurt people's feelings; read WP:COPYVIO.TBrandley 04:43, 3 August 2012 (UTC)

Note
Hi again. I noticed you updated the PP article to reflect Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Abbreviations#Acronyms and initialisms. Instead of writing that long link out in the edit summary, I created an MOS shortcut to the same section (MOS:ACRO). Hope it helps make things easier, TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:02, 2 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for your help in making Wikipedia great! Just a quick littler note: Per this thread - and it's a long one (), please don't make comments like "looks good", etc on Requests for Permissions, as the granting admin still has to look over the user in question's contribs/etc, regardless of your comments. Thanks! Theopolisme TALK 05:07, 4 August 2012 (UTC)

- Non admin observations are generally not helpful, particularly at WP:PERM which is really strictly an admin-only area, and as yet, has no real need for clerking. Unless those comments are from long-term, very experienced users whose names we recognise, they are usually ignored. The same goes in part for several other admin noticeboards where commentators are not directly involved (there has recently been a long discussion about this at AN/I). One area where we are urgently looking for more editors is NewPagePatrol - an essential Wikipedia process. As you have significant experience in article creation and content editing, you may wish to learn more about it at WP:NPP, and if you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask me. --Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 00:49, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Did you notice some IP comments at the feedback page for Grey's Anatomy? I wish I could respond, because it is ridiculous how they are complaining that there is not a list of episodes. 2012-13
Don't revert again by erasing 2013. There are 24 episodes; it is a technical impossibility that they all air in 2012. In order to do that, more than one episode would have to air per week. That has never been done on primetime TV; so WP:COMMONSENSE comes into play. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 06:03, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- Fair enough. Above, May 2013 should just be 2013. It is unknown for the end/month in 2013. That's a for sure WP:CRYSTAL. TBrandley 06:05, 5 August 2012 (UTC)

Proposal Real Housewives of New Jersey Episode guide
I would like to propose that the episode information that was deleted be undo-that the info. be put back up and that the correct procedure as per Wikipedia be used before it is removed from the page. With a notice at the top of the page like the one that I have only put on one Grey's Anatomy episode. Otherwise, in my spare time I may get real busy here with that kind of thing. If that sounds like that threat-you can take it that way if you want but all I am claiming is that I may begin following the rules. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.37.29.229 (talk) 17:26, 6 August 2012 (UTC)
- Your edit to Give Peace a Chance (Grey's Anatomy) has been reverted. The plot summary is within a normal length (2 paragraphs), which is shorter than most articles. For example, Squeeze (The X-Files) is a featured article (one of Wikipedia's finest), and it's plot summary is longer than Give Peace a Chance's. For Real Housewives, you cannot restore the information and place {{plot}} on the top of the article. That template doesn't make sense at all. First of all, it is for tagging article's with plot summaries that are too long. The summaries you are trying to add to that page are of a reasonable length. Second, maintenance/warning templates can only be used if the plot is written by the author/in the public domain. There are some cases on Wikipedia that the information has to be removed immediately. One instance, in this case, is copyrighted material, which needs to be removed immediately. Another is when people add unsourced information to biographies of living people–that also has to be removed immediately. I hope you understand everything I said, TRLIJC19 (talk •

WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Weekly Newsletter: August 6, 2012
Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. First of all, we would like to welcome three new members to the project: M.Mario, Tvlover96, and Mattom123; we look forward to collaborating with them. We have several new achievements and updates to be announced! List of Grey's Anatomy episodes, developed by TRLIJC19 and Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, is now a featured list candidate! If promoted, it will be our first piece of "in-house" featured content! Feel free to leave comments or voice your opinions here. Grey's Anatomy, Grey's Anatomy (season 3), and "Give Peace a Chance" are in the preparations for FAC. An administrative board has been added to the project, to make sure the internal processes run smoothly. Any member has the chance to join, and further information is given at the project page. Currently, however, all the positions are filled, so if you are interested, please contact the coordinator and you will be placed on a waiting list. There are many things to be done for the project, in an attempt to exemplify its best work. Below is a list of tasks, and guidelines:
Tasks and Gudelines |
---|
Please try to follow these tasks to the best of your abilities. As with any guideline, there may be exceptions, so use common sense when applying them.
|
Weekly Initiative!
The weekly initiative this week, an extent of last week's, is to develop a Grey's Anatomy-related stub or start-class article, using the relevant guidelines above! Model your article off of a Grey's Anatomy page with GA status. Use your Wikipedia skills to fix MOS inconsistencies, copyedit, add more information by researching, and remove unreferenced claims! Barnstars will be awarded to users who destub/de-start their articles, and get the quality level promoted to at least 'C' class! You can determine if an article meets the 'C' class criteria by asking a member of the project's administrative board to review the article. Please do not change the article's quality rating yourself; you must have it reviewed by a member of the committee. A list of stub and start class Grey's Anatomy articles can be found at the project's main page. Take part in this initiative, have fun destubbing/starting articles, feel proud after the article you cleaned up looks better, and be rewarded with barnstars! Help make a difference and get started! Furthermore, if you notice that any user has participated in any weekly initiative and was not rewarded, give them a barnstar ASAP!
Have fun, and don't forget to cite everything you write! We hope to see several expanded articles soon!

My RfA
Thank you for participating in my RfA, which I withdrew several hours ago just prior to its scheduled closure. I appreciate all the imput I received, and I hope it'll help me grow and develop myself as a Wikipedian.
Oh, and on that related note, I've commented on Kudpung's post above. To reiterate, I'm at least appreciative of the fact that you gave people the opportunity to gain further insight into my policy knowledge and judgement, so that they can offer up additional feedback on where I might want to improve in preparation for any future RfA's I might submit.
Take care. =) Master&Expert (Talk) 09:15, 8 August 2012 (UTC)

Grey's Anatomy again
I've already told you this: please do not make major edits to Grey's Anatomy right now; a user is copyediting and doesn't need to deal with edit conflicts. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:21, 9 August 2012 (UTC)

Simpsons articles
Hey man, thanks for passing my GA nomination yesterday! :) Could you please revisit Wikipedia:Featured list removal candidates/List of The Simpsons episodes/archive1 as soon as possible? If you think the article meets the FL criteria now, could you please state that so the closing FL director knows this? I'd also appreciate if you could respond to my comments/questions at Wikipedia:Featured list candidates/The Simpsons discography/archive1. Thanks, Theleftorium (talk) 15:49, 9 August 2012 (UTC)
List of GA eps FLC
Hi, TBrandley. I don't want you to take this as rude, because I appreciate your help with the list.. As this is my first featured content nomination, I'd like the chance to fix issues raised by other users myself. It seems as though every time a user posts new comments, I am offline, and you address them. Since I am the nominator, I would like to be able to. That said, could you please not address any coming comments, and leave them for me to address? Again, I don't want to sound rude, it's just that I was really excited to be able to have my own nomination in which I would be primarily responsible for its promotion. Something changed in the way rollback appears so I accidentally made this edit. WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Weekly Newsletter: August 13, 2012
Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. We have several new achievements and updates to be announced! List of Grey's Anatomy episodes, developed by TRLIJC19 and Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, is still a featured list candidate! If promoted, it will be our first piece of "in-house" featured content! If uninvolved with the list, we urge you to leave comments, review the article, and support or oppose it here. Grey's Anatomy, Grey's Anatomy (season 3), and "Give Peace a Chance" are also still in the preparations for FAC, while List of Grey's Anatomy cast members is being developed by TRLIJC19. "Losing My Religion" is now a GAN; it was developed by Sofffie7 and copyedited by TRLIJC19. There is currently a discussion awaiting feedback here; please provide your input there.
|
The weekly initiative this week is to create a non-existent/redirect Grey's Anatomy episode article, using the relevant guidelines above! Model your article off of a Grey's Anatomy episode article with GA status. Use your Wikipedia skills to research information, copyedit, remove unreferenced claims, and add pictures! Barnstars will be awarded to any user who creates a well-sourced article, that has a quality of at least 'start'! To determine the quality, ask a member of the administrative board to review your article; please do not change the article's quality yourself. Take part in this initiative, have fun creating an article, feel proud after the article you created is existent, and be rewarded with barnstars! Help make a difference and get started! Furthermore, if you notice that any user has participated in any weekly initiative and was not rewarded, give them a barnstar ASAP!
Have fun, and don't forget to cite everything you write! We hope to see several expanded articles soon!

Regarding your new position as monitor of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy
Hi Tate, thank you for agreeing to serve as monitor of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy, and better help out the community. This message is to inform you of the duties associated with the position. As monitor, you are in charge of monitoring all pages within the scope of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy. The pages you need to watch are the main page, the episode list, the character list, the cast list, the awards list, each season and character (full list can be seen here), and each episode. To find all the episodes, go to the episode list (each episode with a link you need to watch). If you notice that one of the pages you are watching has been vandalized, please rollback the edit, and warn the user/IP. If consistent vandalizing occurs, either (a) report the user/IP to WP:AIV, or (b) if it is multiple IPs vandalizing, request semi-protection of the page at WP:RPP. If someone adds unsourced/copyrighted information to a page, please revert with a good-faith message, and explain to the user/IP on their talk page (preferably with a twinkle template) why the edit was inappropriate. If the user/IP continues to add the unsourced/copyrighted content after being given a final warning, please report the user/ip to WP:ANI. If several users are edit warring across a page(s), please warn both users/IPs, and if they don't stop, report them to WP:AN/EW. Further, if you suspect any editor/IP is committing sockpuppetry, or has a conflict of interest, please report them to the relevant page. To notify other board members of your position, please place {{User ABoard Grey's}} somewhere on your user page, which will automatically add you to Category:WikiProject Grey's Anatomy administrative board members
.
Thanks again for joining! Please confirm that you understand all of your duties; and do not hesitate to ask questions. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 23:14, 13 August 2012 (UTC)
- No problem. I'll put all on those pages above on my watchlist. Great! TBrandley 01:25, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Hi, again. I think the DVD release section should be removed. You said it yourself before; there will be no DVD released for the show. N/As on other lists are for shows where some seasons were released on DVDs. This show never had a DVD; it is misleading to readers to have N/a; the information is available. N/A represents unknown information, but the information is known that there is no DVD. Just as it was removed from Awake, I think it should be removed here. I hope you understand why it should be removed, TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 01:51, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

Article assessments
Hi again, Tate. I was wondering if you used the article assessment feature? I started using it a while ago, and find it extremely helpful. When you go to an article, the title of the article changes to the assessment's color (green for GA, blue for FA, etc.), and gives notes about the article's quality, status directly below. To use it, click on 'my preferences', then 'gadgets', then scroll down to the 'appearance' header, then select "Display an assessment of an article's quality as part of the page header for each article. (documentation)"-- it's the 14th feature in the list. Then click 'save' at the bottom. The feature will then be active. There is usually a delay of a few hours when the article's quality is changed, or it becomes a nominee for something. It's really cool. I am writing this because I was wondering if any other users utilize this awesome feature. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:38, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for letting me know! I've never seen it before; it looks like a great feature. I have activated it, but, as you said, it might take a while to start working. It is cool. Cheers! TBrandley 03:45, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

Awake FAC length
Awake's FAC has been open for a month now; hopefully it will garner some supports. I've seen so many FACs closed because even though there was no consensus not to promote, there was also no consensus to promote. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 00:17, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- I know. I'm really trying to get some more editors to review the article. Do you know of anyone? Regards. That happened with M.Mario's FA, Poppy Meadow, then he contacted the FA director, then asked. The director said that he could nominate it again with the two week limit, and M.Mario got permission. That being said, if this fails (oh no! :(; I will contact an FA director, and ask about it. Thanks for coming here! TBrandley 00:22, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think you need more reviewers; quite a few users reviewed the article. What you need is for those reviewers to either support/oppose. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 00:26, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
- You right; suppose so. Logical Fuzz (talk · contribs) hasn't look through the whole article; it was just a quick comment, so, that shouldn't hopefully effect anything. Nikimaria (talk · contribs) never supports or opposes, and it normally works out fine; he has noted that on his page. My goal is to try and get Lemonade or Grapple supporting. Cheers, TBrandley 00:30, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

- To note, I will not brother asking Maria, or Fuzz to support/oppose, as Maria only does source reviews; always has, and as stated above, never supports, doesn't really change the result. Plus, Fuzz, was only there to leave a quick comment, so. TBrandley 00:40, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

Your edit-warring
Before you go around warning other editors for things, perhaps you should remind yourself about your own block history. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 20:25, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- The past is the past. The fact that he was once blocked for edit warring doesn't mean he loses the ability to warn others for the same. Ryan Vesey 20:32, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- Three block in three weeks, all this year, tells the story. Anyone can warn anyone about anything, but without established credibility it doesn't mean anything. It would be like someone habitually charged with DWI issuing warnings to others about driving drunk. It can't be taken seriously. Will I find any blocks in your history, Ryan? --76.189.121.5 (talk) 20:46, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- TBrandley has made over 10,000 edits to Wikipedia. His credibility is not in question. Trying to point score off his block history won't work, and before even trying to do that, you should make sure that your own history is squeaky clean. You have a demonstrated history of attacking other editors after only 10 edits and managed to breach 3RR on your ninth. You only managed to avoid a block for making eight reverts because I had requested the page be protected. Does that mean your credibility is in serious question? And really, this is highly inappropriate. You need to start assuming good faith. --AussieLegend (talk) 21:03, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- If he's made over 10,000 edits, then he has absolutely no excuse for recently getting blocked three times in three weeks. You should've thought about that comment before you posted it. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 21:48, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
- Any recent blocks have absolutely nothing to do with your edit-warring at Hotel Hell. You need to stop playing the blame game and get on with editing in a collaborative and constructive manner. --AussieLegend (talk) 02:56, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, it means "absolutely nothing" that someone who's made 10,000+ edits has been blocked three times in three weeks. Or that you and your group of collluding editors reverted nine times in two hours today. You keep telling yourself those things if it helps you sleep better. We're enjoying your pathetic denials and hilarious, non-sensical posts. (We see from your post that "your" is supposed to be bolded. Hahaha) Anyway, please give us more. You're great entertainment. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 03:25, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- IP, you're breaching towards a personal attack here. Regardless of what happened in the past, TBrandley is a good editor. Your edits were being reverted because you had no consensus to back your changes, and you were going against WP:LEAD. I suggest instead of criticizing others' edits, you take this time to review some of Wikipedia's key policies including those on civility, edit warring, consensus, and personal attacks. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 04:50, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, his three blocks in 16 days indicates how good he is. Haha. But let's take a look at your history, TRLIJC19. Let's see, three blocks for edit-warring. Now take your meaningless, laughable, hypocrtical lectures somewhere else. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 05:16, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- The past is the past. I honestly have no problems with my blocks being brought up. Yes, I was blocked three times for edit warring; last year. Editors learn from mistakes and grow from them. Enough already; if you don't stop this behavior, you can look forward to a possible block for edit warring and personal attacks. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:26, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- You're no different than a guy who gets arrested for DWI three times, then goes around lecturing other people about driving drunk. Or a 500 pound guy telling someone to go on a diet. You have zero credibility. Get a life. Now, you want to continue interjecting yourself in something that's absolutely none of your business? Bring it on. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 05:34, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- There is nothing to do with past blocks and giving warning/notice. The only question should be– is he giving those notices correctly? Stop making personal attacks. --Tito Dutta ✉ 05:36, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

- Any recent blocks have absolutely nothing to do with your edit-warring at Hotel Hell. You need to stop playing the blame game and get on with editing in a collaborative and constructive manner. --AussieLegend (talk) 02:56, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- If he's made over 10,000 edits, then he has absolutely no excuse for recently getting blocked three times in three weeks. You should've thought about that comment before you posted it. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 21:48, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
He's done the same thing to me. The IP is wildly out of control, and is throwing anything he can find against the wall in the hope something will stick. This is WP:BOOMERANG, and how. --Drmargi (talk) 05:43, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- I really don't understand why this IP isn't being blocked yet. The personal attacks he/she is throwing at everyone are ridiculously unacceptable. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:51, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Haha, you guys act like your 10 years old. Margi, maybe about six years old. "He's done the same thing to me." Hilarious! Now go to bed. Then when you wake up, get a life. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 06:00, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- When instead of taking responsibility for your actions, you bring up people's block history, it just shows your level of immaturity. Please be civil. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 06:02, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yes, let's just ignore the fact that you've been banned from editing three times for edit-warring, yet go around warning other people about their actions. That makes total sense. Haha. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 06:07, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- I'm not ignoring anything. Yes, I made mistakes last year, and got blocked not banned for edit warring. I regret doing it, and have since learned from my errors. But, that has nothing to do with you edit warring and throwing personal attacks at editors. I am currently in good standing, and am completely permitted to discuss Wikipedia's key policies with an IP. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 06:13, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- One block. Fine. Two blocks. Maybe. Three blocks. It's over. You have no credibility. So go ahead and "discuss" whatever you want with someone, but I assure you that you will be talking to yourself. Your history shows you have annoyed many other editors, as well. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 06:23, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- You seem to be ignoring the fact that you are the one edit warring now; not last year. I don't know how many more times I can say it; I apologize for my past errors. Believe it or not, but you can regain credibility after a block. Following my blocks, I took time to learn about Wikipedia's policies. Earlier this year, I received rollback and reviewer rights; user privileges given to trusted credible users. Users have come back and become great editors after a lot more than three blocks. I have been on Wikipedia for 4 years, have 19 good articles, 2 articles in preparation for featured article status, and 2 in preparation for featured list status. So as far as I'm concerned, I have enough credibility to discuss behavioral policies with an IP. Further, if you don't stop this behavior, you will most likely be blocked for personal attacks; and let me tell you, not to justify edit warring in any way, but a personal attack block is considered a lot worse than a block for edit warring. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 06:37, 17 August 2012 (UTC)
- Talk to someone who cares. Don't you have a life? I will admit that you are somewhat entertaining, though. --76.189.121.5 (talk) 06:40, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

I have no doubt that you have learned from your mistakes on here and are doing an excellent job in helping this project. - And my apologies to all the other editors involved. My edit on the Hotel Hell page was sincerely intended as a very friendly, postitive effort to improve the content that was already there, and just remove a few pieces that I truly believed weren't necessary. I figured everyone would appreciate the rewrite. Anyway, please accept that I am sorry for causing any problems, hurting anyone's feelings, and causing a disruption. - I understand the frustration you were feeling when your edits were being reverted. You are hardly to blame; when you first start editing, there's no way you could know all of the editing guidelines already. I recommend creating an account, and reading over lots of Wikipedia guidelines. I am sure you could make a great editor. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 07:33, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

With the copyedit, great work on the article! Mark Arsten (talk) 19:42, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Losing My Religion
Hey TBrandley! I don't know if you noticed but BlueMoonset has added many comments on the review you started while you were away. Joey and me tried to address some of them but we, or at least I, don't know how to fix the issues BlueMoonset has found on the lead and reception. So would you mind to give your opinion on the comments BlueMoonsethas left and possibly tell if the changes he/she suggest are necessary? Also, since the article has seen many changes, you might have to re-read the whole article ;) Thanks, Sofffie7 (talk) 19:51, 20 August 2012 (UTC)
- I got almost every issue; excluding those not part of the good article criteria. If you could take a look to see if you can pass it, that'd be great. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 05:48, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Peter Sellers FLC
Hi TBrandley. Firstly, hearty congratulations on your success with "Say Hello to My Little Friend"; an article which I was proud to help promote. Secondly, I wondered if you could take a look at Peter Sellers on stage, radio, screen and record as it is currently up for featured list consideration. It's senior article, Peter Sellers, has just been awarded FA status, and my co-nom and I are now attempting to give this list the same treatment (much as I did with Dan Leno). I would be obliged if you could look in, and we would greatfully recieve any comments you may have to offer. All the best! -- CassiantoTalk 00:14, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Wow, one lucky person. FLC is my roommate. I'll for sure leave some comments. TBrandley 02:21, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Say Hello to My Little Friend copyedit
Hi you requested that you wanted Say Hello to My Little Friend to be copyedited by the GOCE, because "that you want it to be FA status" Well that article is FA status and FA status dictates that it should be left as is unless new information comes up. So I am just wondering if you still want it copyedited even though it is at FA status? ObtundTalk 01:37, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, sorry; I forgot to remove it from the list. I will do that now. Thanks, TBrandley 01:40, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- No problem. ObtundTalk 01:45, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
Wow, congrats on FA status! ("Say Hello to My Little Friend") --Another Believer (Talk) 15:55, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Awake and more
Hey! Any progress on getting Awake re-nominated early? Also, I don't know if you saw, but List of Grey's Anatomy episodes was promoted and I applied for a triple crown! :-) Do a quick creation and DYK, and you'll qualify! Also, did you see Sophie's message above regarding the review of LMR? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 02:50, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, I going to go on it now. I can't get it re-nominated, the FA director said that exceptions are only for articles with little/no feedback at all. He told me to wait two weeks, GrahamColm. Thanks, I'll get on that. TBrandley 03:29, 21 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks. That's unfortunate about Awake. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:33, 21 August 2012 (UTC)

Hi TBrandley. I saw your recent edit here, where you converted the text "9:00 p.m. Eastern/8:00 p.m." to "9:00 pm Eastern/8:00 pm", with the edit summary MOS:TIME. Just so you know, there is nothing wrong with using the periods. You might want to go back and re-read that guideline. Both pm and p.m. are completely acceptable. Happy editing! --Logical Fuzz (talk) 22:51, 22 August 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. Thanks for letting me know. Guess, then, I thought it "had" to be "pm" rather "p.m.". I'll try. Cheers, TBrandley 01:31, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
Flags
Hello, Brandley, I would like to ask something concerning the List of Armenian Olympic medalists. You said that the flags aren't necessary for the table, but as you can see in Ballon d'Or article (which is a featured list), the flags are included in the table. Shouldn't the flags be included at least for the countries? Yes, probably, it's not a good idea to put the flags in front of the games where they have been hosted, I understand that. --Yerevanci (talk) 18:11, 23 August 2012 (UTC)
- It must of been missed on that FLC. I was just going by MOS:FLAG guidelines. TBrandley 02:40, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Well, it says the following: Flag icons may be relevant in some subject areas, where the subject actually represents that country, government, or nationality – such as military units, government officials, or national sports teams. Another lines states, Examples of acceptable exceptions would be military battle infoboxes templates and infoboxes that include international competitions, such as FIFA World Cup or the Olympic Games.
- Now, I can't see any reason why the flags shouldn't be used there.--Yerevanci (talk) 23:09, 25 August 2012 (UTC)
Wondering
Hi, I was just wondering why your user page bio varies between first and third person POVs. For example, almost all of it is written in the first POV, but lines like "Tate began editing on Wikipedia on November 9, 2011, [...]" and "TBrandley recently got his article, "Say Hello to My Little Friend", promoted to FA status, by awesome FA director, GrahamColm, on August 19, 2012, his first featured article." are in third person. Lol, just something I noticed. Personally, I think it looks better in the first person POV. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 02:34, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'll fix that soon. Thanks! TBrandley 02:49, 24 August 2012 (UTC)

List of GA cast members
Hi, I want to nominate the above article for FL status, but I have a concern. The only way a reader can know what billing the actor/actress received a particular season is through the color key. I think that goes against MOS:DTT, but I don't know another way to convey that information besides coloring. Any thoughts? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 18:18, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- I think you should use a color that blind people, etc. will be able to see. So, I think a color is a okay, but it depends on the color. See List of The Simpsons guest stars for a good example color. TBrandley 18:21, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
- Good point. In that case, the colors used are appropriate for colorblind people, per other FLs. Thanks, TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 18:33, 24 August 2012 (UTC)
alcatraz begin date in finland.
im finnish so i can tell you that it does not begin 22 march... "klo 22.30" simply means "at 10:30pm" not the date.
2.9. is 9.2. in american way. Thus it means 2 day of September... — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:708:30:1040:DD83:DF8B:EED8:A4D4 (talk) 16:46, 25 August 2012 (UTC)

- Good idea! TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 21:28, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
Was wondering how this one was going, since it now has the dubious distinction of being the longest on hold of any GAN with Cora having been passed. Any chance of it being completed soon?
And, of course, no sooner did I type that than I noticed that a brand new Wikipedia account has made two edits, adding a new second paragraph to the Internet phenomenon section. It may be problematic: it seems to concentrate on Persistent Systems Ltd and its relation to the show and internet analysis, which leads one to believe it may be written by someone associated with that company. The edits were made today. BlueMoonset (talk) 23:27, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, I'll look again, and add some more comments for now. Thanks. TBrandley 23:29, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
Featured Article Age
What does it mean by it been promoted between 1 and 2 years ago? Does it mean that's how long ago it was made? Also, could I nominate, since I am a new user. Thank you. --Lucky102 (talk) 15:38, 27 August 2012 (UTC)
WikiProject Grey's Anatomy Weekly Newsletter: August 27, 2012
Hello members of WikiProject Grey's Anatomy! We are sending out our weekly newsletter with updates about the project and tasks. Big apologies for the lack of the newsletter last week! What a busy two weeks it's been! We have several new achievements and updates to be announced! List of Grey's Anatomy episodes, developed by TRLIJC19 and Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, is now a featured list! "Give Peace a Chance", written by TRLIJC19, was promoted to a featured article last night, after spending only 7 days in candidacy! "Losing My Religion" was listed as a good article last week, developed by Sofffie7, TRLIJC19, and Jonathan Harold Koszeghi. List of Grey's Anatomy cast members, developed by TRLIJC19, recently entered the process of featured list candidacy—we urge you to review the list here. Grey's Anatomy, developed by TRLIJC19, and Grey's Anatomy (season 3), developed by Jonathan Harold Koszeghi, are still in the preparations for featured article candidacy.
|
The weekly initiative this week is to search the internet, and find season 6 reviews to add to Grey's Anatomy. Search through google archives, and news websites, to find reviews that talk about season 6 in entirety. Please make sure the reviews you find come from a highly reliable source such as a major news site, or a well-known magazine. Reminder
Hi, just a reminder that when you add {{GA banner}} to someone's talk page, you have to substitute it, and not transclude it. To substitute the template, write: {{subst:GA banner}}
If you simply transclude it, when someone goes to reply, they will be writing on the template itself. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 16:01, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, okay. I did not know that. Thanks for letting me know that. I'll do that from here on forward. Cheers, TBrandley 16:04, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
Grey's Anatomy
Hey TBrandley! Are you sure the "quotations within quotations" rule applies to references? Because in your changes if the author wrote, for example, with double quotation mark you changed it in single quotation mark like "Grey's Anatomy" into 'Grey's Anatomy'. But if we follow the logic, if it does apply to references, then when there's no quotation mark, since we put the author's title in the reference, we would have to put a double one, right? However, this would be too much work so I think we should just keep the references as they were before. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? ;) Sofffie7 (talk) 22:05, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yep. Per WP:MOS; it should be for references too. That's why I made the changes. I'm sure that. But, I disagree, and still think it should be kept as it is now. Regards. TBrandley 22:08, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- All right, just wanted to be sure :) Sofffie7 (talk) 22:12, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- :) TBrandley 22:13, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Can you cite a specific quotation or link from the MOS that confirms this information, please? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 22:16, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- By the way; obviously I believe you, it's just it would be helpful to know where it explicitly says this, if I were to be giving a source review and the issue was challenged. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 22:22, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! Might I add that I actually found it from here and on one of my FACs both cited by Nikkimaria. She explained to Grapple X, that "Per WP:MOS, should use single quote marks inside double quotes to avoid doubling." TBrandley 22:25, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, I found the link/guideline. See MOS:QUOTEMARKS, etc. TBrandley 22:27, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Is there any indication that the guideline applies to references? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 22:33, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Well, there is also no indication that it doesn't apply to references either. It says that it is "Recommended at Wikipedia." for everything. It is to avoid doubling. Nikimaria cites this concern all the time at FAC's, as do other reviewers/editors. Perhaps try WP:MOS/REF. TBrandley 22:44, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
- Found it. WP:MOSQUOTE says "When quoting a quotation that itself contains a quotation, single quotes may be replaced with double quotes, and vice versa". MOS:QUOTEMARKS says quotation marks within quotation marks should be single quotes, which is what occurs in titles enclosed by quotation marks in footnotes. TBrandley 16:14, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Please don't cap another user's comments as you did to mine at The X-Files' episodes FLC. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 00:44, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. I'm sorry. TBrandley 00:47, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Random
Hey Tate. Are you interested in horror films? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 02:56, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Some. No very many though. Are you? TBrandley 02:58, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Very. My favorites would have to be Psycho (1960), Halloween (1978), Scream (1996), and When a Stranger Calls (1979). I asked because I would like to bring Halloween back up to featured status—it was demoted in January 2011—but if you don't like horror films, I guess you wouldn't want to work on it with me. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:02, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- No, I can for sure still help you, despite that. That's Grey's Anatomy for example. I don't really like Grey's Anatomy much, but still work with some articles. I'm still happy to help regardless. I try to work with anything in the Film/Television field, and help anything who needs it. Cheers! What help would you need? TBrandley 03:06, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks! And you'll be watching Grey's Anatomy's premiere on September 27, right? :-) The concerns cited at the FAR were unreliable sources, and messy citations—not too much of an issue. However, since the standards for featured articles have grew significantly since it was originally promoted, I think there is more information available for it to be comprehensive. Also, the prose could use a good copyedit. But, I don't think I want to work on that article just yet; I really would like to get List of Grey's Anatomy characters to good topic. So, next month, if you could push a few character articles to good status, that would be extremely helpful. Once all the characters are at good status, the list will probably be easier to develop. There is currently no character featured list, so we would really be making a Wikipedia breakthrough if we could get that list to featured status. However, since there are no character featured lists, we have no inspiration for it. In other news, are you planning on doing a Britten family good topic—that would be easy and I would love to help with it. Another easy one would be List of Awake episodes—how many episodes are lacking good status? TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:15, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- I see you've went offline. :/ TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:17, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- (edit conflict) Still, just saw this. So: Yep; I'll give the show a try. The season premiere kinda looks like Lost. I'll work on the Halloween article. Sure, I'll try to help with characters. I know, no even for status master The Simpsons. Also, I would like some help on Michael, Rex, and Hannah, for a good topic. I was actually thinking about that. So, help would there would be appreciated. :) I have been working on FC, GA, reviewing, etc., so I haven't got to it, so. Thanks. Also, see User:TBrandley/GT prep. Only a few more, and at 78 percent, were almost done. Cheers for everything. TBrandley 03:21, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sounds good. If you could write the 'plot's, I'd be happy to push an Awake episode to GA. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 03:24, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sounds like a deal. But, since I'm not very familiar with GA, how would I be able to write some plots? Still going to. Also, if you could push an Awake episode that'd be great. If possible, could you model it with "Nightswimming" and "Say Hello to My Little Friend". Also, if you're a member of the project, I think, feel free to place the {{User Private Practice task force}} WP:PRIPRA userbox on your user page. Anyway, thanks. TBrandley 13:51, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- No, I was saying if you couk=ld write the plot section for an Awake episode, I could do the rest of the article. If you do a GA character, the plots are already there—the unnecessary details just need to be phished out. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 15:38, 29 August 2012 (UTC)
- Oh, yeah. How stupid of me. Thanks! I'll also soon get helping with GA characters articles. Any article you want done in particular? Regards. TBrandley 15:41, 29 August 2012 (UTC)

Userboxes
I used your userbox header, if that's ok with you.Lucky102 (talk) 15:18, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Also, how come some pages have comments between dates, and some don't? By dates I mean birth and death, etc.--Lucky102 (talk) 15:26, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- Of course! Go ahead, use it. Glad someone is reading my user page. Also, that's just my choice. Happy editing! TBrandley 21:47, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
Notice
Hi, The Rambling Man said that List of Grey's Anatomy cast members did not meet MOS:DTT. Therefore, he had a user (RexxS) give me a recommendation on what could make the table accessible. I acted upon his advice, and completely rewrote the 'cast' section of the list. You supported the list at its candidacy, so this is a courtesy message to inform you that the list has been significantly changed since you supported. TRLIJC19 (talk • contribs) 22:15, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
- I already saw over my watchlist. Okay. Thanks for letting me know! It's fine now again. TBrandley 22:25, 30 August 2012 (UTC)
