Information icon Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to Wikipedia:Templates for discussion/Log/2020 October 8—because it did not appear constructive. Minisode1: Blue Hour moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Minisode1: Blue Hour, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Cravity

If you place a {{db-author}} on the template you created for {{Cravity}}, we won't have to go through another deletion discussion. With only two EPs and no articles for any members of the group, a navbox just isn't warranted yet. Thanks. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 20:46, 9 October 2020 (UTC)

Hey just ignore that person. Don't get dragged into anything with them. I removed the section from my talk page because that conversation just spiked my anxiety. Thank you for wanting to defend me, but clearly nothing any of us say will make a difference. -- Carlobunnie (talk)

@Carlobunnie: The reason why I wanted to defend you was because I also suffer from anxiety and I was scared about what might happen to you because of that users comments. Just like you, I am also editing Wikipedia to help with my anxiety. I had an anxiety attack a few days ago and I was worried that something like that might happen to you. Stay strong. Happy editing. EN-Jungwon (talk) 14:34, 11 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi EN-Jungwon, not sure whom to ask about this but I expanded the draft and tried moving it to the mainspace, which I couldn't since an editor changed the target from Enhypen to Draft:Enhypen and redirected the former to I-Land. So I removed the redirect and copied everything from the draft that I expanded to Enhypen page. The problem is that the history hasn't obviously been merged since the two are separate articles and I'm not sure what could be done in this regard. Would you mind taking a look? Thanks in advance. --Ashleyyoursmile! 15:44, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

@Ashleyyoursmile: I just requested it to be merged. I saw this message after requesting it an I can't stop laughing for some reason. EN-Jungwon (talk) 15:50, 15 November 2020 (UTC)

@ENHYPENJAKEUUU:It's ok. Just don't add things like that to articles. It's unconstructive and can constitute to vandalism which can get you blocked. EN-Jungwon (talk) 09:07, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Hi @Beenieleenie:. That page was already removed because it was non notable. If you want to expand it you can do it in the draft space for the article. Otherwise the page will be deleted by another editor. EN-Jungwon (talk) 13:11, 17 November 2020 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi EN-Jungwon. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~Swarm~ {sting} 02:20, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

Test page speedies

Hi EN-Jungwon -- I've declined a couple of your G2 speedies, as the drafts did not appear to be test pages. As new editors are automatically directed to draftspace to create articles (rather than to their sandboxes), anything in draftspace that appears to be a good-faith attempt to create an article, rather than "testing testing" or "asflkanf" type messages, should generally be left alone to develop, unless there is an important rationale for deletion. Regards, Espresso Addict (talk) 08:11, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

@Espresso Addict:Thanks for the info. I'll be more careful about that. EN-Jungwon (talk) 09:04, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

Don't revert without addressing edits

The edit was made to ask the question "what's a clooter." In all likelihood, that's a misspelling of cluster, but a subject matter expert should make that determination. Rather than investigate, you revert.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 23.129.0.30 (talk)

@23.129.0.30:Hi there. First of all you asked the question in the article which you should not do that's why I reverted your edits. If you have any questions you can ask on the articles talk page and not on the article. EN-Jungwon (talk) 17:54, 20 November 2020 (UTC)

About revert

You just reverted my edit on Battle of Leipzig "because it did not appear constructive", which is blatantly false. I explained my edit perfectly: The article claims that Gerhard von Scharnhorst participated in the planning of the battle (this was October 1813), but Schanhorst died back in late June of that year, so the information is obviously false and I deleted it. 88.115.43.108 (talk) 10:30, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

Gävle goat

Hi there. You reverted my edit to Gävle goat, saying it wasn't constructive. I'm wondering why you think it wasn't constructive. The term 'miniature goat' refers to several species of real goat. The goat the news article refers to is a miniature straw Yule goat, and I think this could use clarification. 60.225.235.241 (talk) 10:37, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

Suggested addition to References of the Wikipedia article "Louis Harold Gray"

Today I tried for the first time to suggest the addition to the references of the above Wikipedia article (after registering with Wikipedia). Clearly I made a mess of it. Perhaps you can kindly add the following to the list of references. I'd be grateful. Thanks. O Underwood

Help?

Hi This is my very first edit here and don't understand how to make suggestions or send messages - I don't know if you will even receive this. I've made 3 attempts to edit this article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stay_(Eternal_song)) and have been receiving 'terse' warnings about 'vandalism'! Hardly 'conducive' to encourage people to contribute! In fact I'm on the verge of giving up as I don't need the aggravation when I'm only trying to contribute to ensure that the article is accurate! Instead of being 'reprimanded' perhaps someone could actually offer some assistance on what is wrong rather than telling me I'll be banned if I continue! Mst58 (talk) 15:59, 21 November 2020 (UTC)

@Mst58:Hi there. So I went through those edits and it looks like you were basically talking in the article which you shouldn't do. If you want to ask any question or request something to be edited, you can ask on the task page of the article. EN-Jungwon (talk) 16:05, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
When I originally read the article I believed it to be incorrect as Glenn Jones released Stay in 1986 written by La La, but on further investigation he also released Stay in 1990 which IS the same song. So to avoid others making the same mistake I simply qualified the statement to avoid anyone else making the same assumption, stating 'Not to be confused with the 1986 song of the same name' or such like. Mst58 (talk) 16:12, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
@Mst58:That should be mentioned at the top of the article in a special format. Check (G)I-dle for an example. It's mentioned at the top "Not to be confused with Gidle.". Hope this made sense. EN-Jungwon (talk) 16:17, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
To be honest I've lost the motivation to edit as for something as simple as this it's far too much effort to 'justify' to the Wiki police! I'll just leave it and probably won't bother with any further edits as I've better things to do with my time! Mst58 (talk) 16:39, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
@Mst58:Don't be discouraged by what happened today. New users usually make mistakes. At least you learned something new. I hope you'll come back and help out with articles on Wikipedia. EN-Jungwon (talk) 16:51, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
It's hard not to when I feel I've been 'attacked' by 3 different users .. and now fear that as soon as I try to edit again someone else will object and reverse what I've done. Is this normal?Mst58 (talk) 16:54, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
@Mst58:It's normal for new users who might not know much about editing articles. It's a good practice to check good articles and see how they are written to get an idea of how you should edit articles. EN-Jungwon (talk) 17:03, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
OK .. all I want to do is enter something along the lines of: "(Not to be confused with the 1986 song he released with the same title)" so that others are not confused like I was. I don't think this correlates to your previous suggestion as that was an 'ambiguity' for the group's name which I agree should be right at the head of the article. This is almost exactly what I put the last time I edited the article which you rejected ... so I still don't know how to enter it? Any suggestions?Mst58 (talk) 17:08, 21 November 2020 (UTC)
@Mst58:I only reverted your edits after going through the pages history and after seeing that you never tried to ask anyone why your edits were been reverted. It might be because you were new. Anyways it looks like Tayi Arajakate solved your issue. Sorry for taking so long to reply. I just woke up. EN-Jungwon (talk) 01:54, 22 November 2020 (UTC)
yes ... sorry being new I didn't figure out hot to send or respond to messages Mst58 (talk) 20:42, 22 November 2020 (UTC)

Melon weekly chart

Hi. What would be an appropriate source? The weekly chart updates every monday. I've seen it reported on twitter and on theqoo. I understand those are not reliable sources, but as far as I'm aware there isn't an official announcement. The source is the chart itself. If you go to melon and check the weekly chart, you can see Dynamite has been nº 1 for 11 weeks. I don't have a direct link to a specific week, because the site is not designed like that; the weekly chart only shows the last 3 months, and after that you have to use the search function. For that reason I'm not sure if the numbers in the article are correct, at least the ones that are unsourced; I'm only familiar with BTS, so I can only vouch for them. - Ïvana (talk) 15:06, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

@Ïvana:I just checked Melon's weekly chart and it is true. After you had edited the page I actually searched through Twitter and found nothing, that's why I reverted the edits. Anyways I'll change it now. Sorry about that. I should have done some more research. [3] EN-Jungwon (talk) 15:49, 23 November 2020 (UTC)

/* 2020 Trump campaign */ not relevant to WW2 concentration camps

The information provided in this paragraph does not belong on the page about the prisoner insignia. It has to do with the 2020 campaign and not about ww2 concentration camps. This page should contain information exclusively about the insignias meaning, when, and how they were used. Modern politics has nothing to do with the conception, usage, and meaning of these prisoner badges. The information about the 2020 campaign belongs on another page relative to the 2020 campaign. I did explain my changes, clearly stated and for good reason you objection response is invalid, you stated I didn't supply adequate reason which I did. The paragraph has nothing to do with the use of prison camp insignia, rather it talks about political campaign ads in 2020. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:5CC:8301:F050:38F4:83C7:193E:2BFC (talk) 13:42, 4 January 2021 (UTC)

Response to your email message to me

You recently sent me a message saying: "You recently blocked an IP 90.224.198.242 for vandalism. Could you please delete their edits on my talk page as they have added inappropriate pictures in those edits." I don't see any problem with doing that but, as you can do it yourself, I have not done it. See WP:OWNTALK. Wtmitchell (talk) (earlier Boracay Bill) 11:46, 1 January 2021 (UTC)

Lynn Abbey's web page has been highjacked by a cyber squatter. How do I cite that?

Lynn Abbey's page lists an official website which is no longer accurate. The site has been taken over by a cyber squatter. I added a warning that the site is no longer valid. You removed the warning for lack of citation. Whom do I cite to "prove" that the site is no longer valid? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.242.150.12 (talk) 16:44, 29 December 2020 (UTC)

I corrected a mistake in the grammar; you changed it back to the mistake.

You wrongly reverted my change in the Rudy Vallee entry. Perhaps you read the sentence quickly and thought that the word was correct as "their" since this word had been used twice previously in the sentence. However, "theirs" is correct. If the word is "their," then the sentence means the stars' endings (the end of their careers or their lives). With the word corrected to "theirs," the sentence means the end of the disagreements.

I have been an editor for more than forty years, six of them in the publication department of the House of Lords in the Parliament of Great Britain, so I can assure you that I know what I am talking about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 146.199.237.14 (talk)

146.199.237.14, This must be the edit you are talking about. The part you edited is a quote from a book. In the specific page of this book where the sentence is quoted, the word is written as "their" and not "theirs". EN-Jungwon 17:12, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

Greek Football Cup

Hi, thank you for reverting today an edit (vandalism) on PAOK FC article. A minor controversy exists on Greek Football Cup article that led to an edit war. It is about statistics. 1961-62 Greek Football Cup final between Olympiacos and Panathinaikos was abandoned in overtime and the Greek Football Federation never ordered a replay. There is a user Kyopa who keeps adding both finalists as runners-up, but in my opinion this leads to a statistical error. When a sport competition is abandoned there can be no winner/runner-up. You can see the discussion on the article's Talk page. Thought you can help as you are an experienced editor. Best regards! Abudabanas (talk) 18:35, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

Reversal of edit to Starboy (song)

As I stated in the edit summary I provided with the changes I made to the article, I removed multiple extraneous copies of the same two sentences from the second paragraph. The article originally read:

""Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[12] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[13] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[14] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[15] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[16] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[17] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[18] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[19] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[20] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[21] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[22] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[23] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[24] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[25] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[26] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[27] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[28] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[29] "Starboy" is an R&B[8] and electropop[30] song that incorporates themes of the extravagance associated with a celebrity lifestyle and also discusses how the celebrity lifestyle can make an entertainer fragile.[10] It was released on September 21, 2016, following the announcement of the album and its accompanying artwork the same day.[31]"

As you can see, this is quite clearly an error, which I was trying to correct, so I'm unsure of why you felt the need to reverse it.

Reverting my edits

Good Day, Sir :

I edited your page because, in the English language, punctuation and grammar are the necessary tools used in effective communication. My edits "didn't appear constructive" to you because they are situated on an entire page of bad grammar, spelling, and missing punctuation. In fact, I stopped reading because I was overwhelmed with this highly juvenile work. Although it's informative, you should consider removing it, learning the English language, and posting it after it's been polished. Edit removed?

Hi I made an edit on the H&D Page to create a new page for BAE173. THe edit was removed I believe because the BAE173 article I tried to create was sent to a long line for the article can be officially published. I'm not familiar with the process of getting a new artist page created. But I do have the page ready and drafted. I've already experience with the format as I run a media wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gyulnoona (talkcontribs) 09:00, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Ongoing protests TfD

Hi Jungwon! Re the close you just made at TfD, two of the keep !voters suggested removing it from article space and keeping it only for the current events WikiProject, which makes the count 8 to 3 for some adjustment versus just a straight keep, which is the default outcome of a no consensus close. Would you be willing to consider adjusting your close to indicate that there is support for removing the template from article space? Regards, {{u|Sdkb}}talk 18:49, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

IA Bot

Hi EN-Jungwon, do you know if the IA Bot is currently undergoing some technical problems? I'm unable to use it for a few days for archiving ref.s across pages. --Ashleyyoursmile! 09:35, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

Ashleyyoursmile, I had asked Cyberpower678 about it a few days ago. The bot seems to be stuck on this task. I've been copying sections to my sandbox and making the bot archive over there and copy-pasting them in the articles. I can help out if you need help with any article and best of luck for getting the Rollback rights. I can tell you are a great candidate for it. EN-JungwonTalk 11:11, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
Ashleyyoursmile or you could do every page manually EN-JungwonTalk 11:37, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
So you mean the bot archive is working in sandboxes? I actually created Step and a Step song article two days back so there are tons of ref.s that need archiving. Also, thank you so much for wishing me luck for the rollback request! :) --Ashleyyoursmile! 12:26, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
Ashleyyoursmile, I didn't make any sense with my replies. I meant to say that you can't run the bot on multiple pages at the moment cause the bot is stuck but you should be able to fix a single page. Sorry if I make no sense. My mind not working properly. Slept for too long. And I am definately not spying on you. I had the Rollback request page on my watchlist and i saw that you edited it. :) EN-JungwonTalk 12:31, 30 November 2020 (UTC)
That's okay!:) Thank you so much for archiving the ref.s for the article. I tried running the bot on a single page, but somehow a "permission error" keeps showing up and the bot can't be used. --Ashleyyoursmile! 12:42, 30 November 2020 (UTC)

When you remove personal information someone has posted, as you did here, please contact WP:OVERSIGHT and ask them to suppress, or 'oversight', it. Resonance

Hello Jungwon. Regarding the draft that you made, are you the only one that can edit it first? (I mean, you created it so maybe it's a bad thing if some user will edit it). Also, do you (or us) need to complete the draft first before performing the merge or not? I'm still new to how things are being made here in wiki, and I know that I'm not a perfect contributor but I wanted to know where and what help I could give with the article. Btw, thanks for making the draft. Hiroctzen (talk) 13:16, 30 December 2020 (UTC)

Hiroctzen, I have been waiting for someone to add everything to the draft. Anyone can edit it if they want. No one owns any article or draft. We need to complete the draft and move it to mainspace. And if you do edit the draft, you can add {{in use}} template to the top of the page so that other editors will know not to edit it until the template is removed. EN-Jungwon 13:24, 30 December 2020 (UTC)
Hiroctzen, please leave a message here after you have finished merging both the articles. EN-Jungwon 12:22, 4 January 2021 (UTC)
Sorry for waiting you for so long. Been busy with school works but I'll try my best to insert info on Resonance Pt. 2 on "Background and release" (Album pre-order and versions, Highlight medley teaser, MV Teasers for 90's Love and Work It), "Recording and production" (Description about the new tracks in Pt. 2 and their interview with Brooke Reese for The Chart Show where they talk about the Resonance album can also be use here, I guess?), "Release and promotion" (V Live special broadcast minutes before the official album and 90's Love MV release, music show performance and 1st win of 90's Love) and "Commercial performamce" (Domestically and international performance; this section can be re-written to address Pt. 1 and Pt. 2's achievement and the as a whole album as there are articles stating their huge improvement (popularity-wise and album sales) from NCT 2018 to NCT 2020).There's a lot of thing to insert to fill the gap that for a single person, a little time consuming 😂. But there are some editors talking about this merge so I'm hoping that they could also help. Hiroctzen (talk) 03:30, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
Hi Jungwon. It's been weeks since my last visit here. I do some minor edits on the draft but other than that, I haven't added the other info needed (as stated on my last response on top). I tried doing some portions but failed misserably(didn't publish it) and time's being too hard to me so I can't lend a lot on time for it. I saw some articles/links for Resonance 2020 like [5] and others. I think it's better to find other editors that are more fluent in english and have time for this. I really wanted to finish the editing of the draft (it's bothering me day by day lol), and I also considered asking some editors editing on NCT-related articles but scraped the idea later on.Hiroctzen (talk) 04:47, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

February 2021

I noticed that you tagged Bob James (Skin Alley musician) for speedy deletion. I have removed the tag from the page because it does not meet the criterion specified. Please fully read Wikipedia:Criteria for speedy deletion before tagging pages for speedy deletion. Thank you.

To drop the templating-a-regular: you should review WP:CCSI, which discusses what counts as a claim of significance and so invalidates something from being A7. Bad speedy deletion tags are one of the most damaging things you can do on Wikipedia, so it's important to be cautious. Vaticidalprophet (talk) 16:04, 17 February 2021 (UTC)

Well,

this might have been handled better. I realize that when we RCP, we tend to use scripts to leave template messages, but sometimes it's better to take the time to politely explain how the editor was missing the mark. Sometimes there's even a welcome template that will serve. A kind word of advice is probably the best course of action to help grow new users, rather than the first message they receive threatening them with a block. Best, --Deepfriedokra (talk) 21:39, 16 February 2021 (UTC).

Pops in Seoul

Hi! I'm the user that did the edits that you archived (I just made an account). I wanted to say that the reason why I didn't put any source is because Arirang didn't release anything (and i couldn't find any news about it, neither in Korean) about the end of the show, but it ended. And I couldn't put any source since I was an IP user. Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 16:26, 3 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi @Bloomingbyungchan, please provide a reliable source to support that it has ended. Please see Wikipedia:Citing sources on how to cite sources. I did a search on Naver and found no sources that said the show had ended. EN-Jungwon 10:36, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
I just saw that it resumes on Tuesday next week. I thought (together with other Choices, name for A.C.E's fandom) that it ended since a new MC wasn't announced, because there weren't any episodes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Arirang didn't announce anything on social medias. Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 12:08, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
But who knows, since the airing time has changed (for me, they're going to air old episodes) Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 12:13, 4 April 2021 (UTC)
The only confirmed thing is that Byeongkwan stopped being MC on March 31st 2021 and today a new episode hasn't aired, so we can say that the show has silently finished. Bloomingbyungchan (talk) 06:41, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
@Bloomingbyungchan, You still have to provide reliable sources to support it. EN-Jungwon 17:41, 6 April 2021 (UTC)

MacDonnell Page

Hello. Why do you continue to revert my edits on the page of Maggie MacDonnell. The original page was written with poor grammar and was overall sloppy and had irrelevant or untrue facts. I have properly updated it to more accurately reflect the person that she is. Why do you continue to revert? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kafashe (talkcontribs) 03:59, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

For example - why does it state 2011 in the box? What does this year have to do with anything? Maggie has been working with youth for decades - so it doesn't distinguish the start of her career. Who put that year there - and what does it mean?

Why - if you insist on mentioning The Ruler of dubai - can you not at least capitalize the P in Vice President?

Why in describing her students do you reduce them to descriptors such as despression, alcohol and addictions - when Maggie's entire teaching approach is about seeing the gifts and talents of her students and apprecating them from not from a "needs based approach" - but a strengths based approach. These comments can be interpeted as highly facist and insensitive to a population that has already undergone decades upon decades of intergenerational and colonial trauma — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kafashe (talkcontribs)

The sentence structure on the following is horrible: Before serving as a teacher, the country's isolated area was claimed to had been suffered with social inequality. She according to the News media restored the "act of kindness" to some extent which brought improvements in Canadian students where she teaches.[8][9]

There is no CLAIM that the area is suffering with social inequality - it is well researched. Why is N captialized in News media? The remaining part of the sentence is a grammar disaster. Why would WIKIPEDIA publish something so poorly written - and then when someone tries to edit it - continue to revert back to such a sloppy overview. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kafashe (talkcontribs) 04:11, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

Here are some more sentences which are so poorly written and untrue:

She works with Congolese refugees for their rehabilitation and Tanzanian HIV/AIDS activists to counsel socially affected patients.

She does not currently work with Congolese refugees. And she does not work on their "rehabilitation". Where did this word/concept come from? She worked with Congolese refugees. Why are you assuming it was in a rehabilitative manner? Also - please explain the "counsel socially affected patients"? What does this even mean? She collaborated with young Tanzanians living with HIV/AIDS. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kafashe (talkcontribs)

Even in this one short sentence - the writer goes from women to girls. The language is not even consistent. It makes the subject (Maggie) and her work appear sloppy.

She ran programs for young women at school level that prompted up to 500% of raise in enrollment of girls at Inuit schools.[10] — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kafashe (talkcontribs)

Here is another example :

Maggie was born and raised in Nova Scotia of eastern Canada and has completed Masters degree from a Canadian university

  • If* you wish to talk about her education - why have you not named the Canadian university? Why are you only focusing on her Masters education? What about her undergraduate degree? What about other professional development programs that she identified as integral to her success?

Why is the "E" not capitalized in "eastern" Canada?

Should it at least read "and has completed a Master's degree" ..... ? I see at least 3 grammar errors in that one sentence .... — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kafashe (talkcontribs) 04:21, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

@Kafashe, you are removing all the citations on the page and all the relevant information about Maggie. Please discuss your changes on the article's talk page. EN-Jungwon 04:15, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

Tagging drafts for speedy deletion

Hello, EN-Jungwon,

Regarding some of your recent CSD tagging, admins have different opinions on what is "promotional" but generally I give more leeway to articles in the Draft space than the main space of the project. It's important to get advertising articles out of the main space of Wikipedia but the Draft area is where editors can work on articles and improve them. Unless a draft is plastered with links to social media accounts, personal websites and links to Amazon, I would prefer to leave them alone and delete them if they go stale in six months. It is a judgment call but I wanted you to know why I declined to delete several drafts you tagged for speedy deletion. Liz Read! Talk! 19:25, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

For example, Draft:Rajdeep Bardhan is not spam nor promotional. It is merely an editor putting down his name. It is not advertising, it's just an editor's name. Please review Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging any more pages for speedy deletion. You must understand what the acceptable criteria are before you resume tagging pages for deletion. Liz Read! Talk! 03:36, 10 April 2021 (UTC)
@Liz I'm really sorry for all the trouble you had to go through because of me. I'll stay away from tagging drafts for the time being. Thank you for taking your time to explain what I was doing wrong. EN-Jungwon 06:46, 10 April 2021 (UTC)

History Merge of Mirae

I saw that you requested the history merge of my Mirae draft but is it needed anymore since I've already added some of the info of my draft to the existing page? Since I've added the new info I've considered deleting my draft. Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 17:45, 20 April 2021 (UTC)

@Btspurplegalaxy, as I mentioned in my edit summary I requested history merge again after you mentioned that you copied some information from the draft. About deleting the draft, I think it would be better to redirect it to the mainspace article EN-Jungwon 18:11, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
@EN-Jungwon How do I redirect it to the main article? Btspurplegalaxy (talk) 19:06, 20 April 2021 (UTC)
@Btspurplegalaxy, see Help:Redirect EN-Jungwon 12:31, 21 April 2021 (UTC)

Dhidhdhoo

Hello, I added some information regarding Ha.Dhidhdhoo and it says it's unreliable. Most of the information is not stored not even in government sites. Can you point out which places I need to add source links and I will try my best to provide it. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dhidhoocity (talkcontribs) 22:56, April 23, 2021 (UTC)

@Dhidhoocity, these sections need references.
See WP:CITE on how to cite sources. Please don't remove the maintenance template until the problems are fixed. EN-Jungwon 04:19, 24 April 2021 (UTC)
