Last I checked there is no Wikipedia policy that states once deleted always to be deleted till the world ends. Take some time to read articles and sources cited rather than the lazy twinkle option or whatever option to nominate articles for deletion. Thanks. Aha... (talk) 07:44, 13 January 2016 (UTC)
- Have you disclosed your connection to the subject? duffbeerforme (talk) 07:46, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
- I don't have a connection with the subject. I think it is naive of you to think that anyone who is passionate about a subject on Wikipedia must then be having a connection to it. Another editor not connected to the subject declined you speedy deletion request upon reviewing the references cited. I wonder what you see that other editors don't. Aha... Luke Girgis
I'd say a redirect would be a better idea than a PROD, see Coptic Soldier for the same individual. I will dePROD Luke Girgis, transclude any content that I believe to be useful to Coptic Soldier and then make Luke Girgis a redirect. Give me a few days to get into this.shaidar cuebiyar (talk) 22:18, 14 January 2016 (UTC)
Private question
I was wondering if you could email me? I had a question on the issue of sockpuppeting, have been admiring some of your "CK Morgan" work and my question probably should not be public. Thanks, Coretheapple (talk) 19:53, 2 February 2016 (UTC)
Great work on the latest CK Morgan sock. Would still appreciate an email, as I still have that question I wanted to ask, and don't want to ask it publicly. Thanks. Just click the "email this user" thingie on my page. Coretheapple (talk) 15:52, 18 March 2016 (UTC)

Redspotgames
I can not have it get nominated again, it is to much stress. I care about the articles I write and regardless of policy if I create an article I think of it as my article.
Back in the day DCP and DCS used to upload magazine scans every time they were mentioned in a publication. I think those scans would be really helpful for me. Nonetheless, I want you to help me rewrite the article. It has been tagged since 2012. To the best of my ability I have rewritten the article.--Cube b3 (talk) 03:56, 28 March 2016 (UTC)

Looks can be decieving
Hi I see you advised of the AfD for Corina Abrahams, but as the restoring admin of Jade Dolman you didnt advise or contact me yet you started both nominations together. Jade Dolman was deleted as A7 which I then restored during an outreach event(WikiBomb) when editors requested the opportunity to improve it. When I change your Pord of this to a merge to a related article you nominate both this article and the article had just created for deletion which all appear to be a little pointy, unfortunately the combination also has some appearance of being racially motivate given both are Indigenous Australians. I suggest in the future that if an article is under a merge discussion comment there as clearly stated in the restoration the article was restored in good faith at a WikiBomb/editathon that means some people considered the subject notable and the admin(in this case me) thought it was close enough to give those editors an opportunity to address the article needs. I suggest that you could take moment to read Racial_bias_on_Wikipedia to learn that many people are working to correct the WP:BIAS and that we are engaging with under represented groups and actions such as your over this does more damage than to Wikipedia than allowing merge discussion to take place without creating discussion in multiple forums about the one article that causes people just to abandon the project altogether. Gnangarra 11:13, 4 April 2016 (UTC)
- Next time you thinks its a good idea to accuse someone of racism you should take a little time and do some investigation. a b c. Get off your high horse and take your accusations of racism and disruption elsewhere. I'm not interested. duffbeerforme (talk) 10:21, 5 April 2016 (UTC)
- So what you can find Indigenious Australian categories, I didnt say you are racist, I said "Looks can be deceptive" ie your pointy actions which you have reinforced with you responses in the AFD has created the appearance of extremely poor behaviour. Gnangarra 00:34, 6 April 2016 (UTC)
- Sigh. "can find Indigenious Australian categories". So again you chose not to investigate, instead climbing further up your high horse. Comparing the articles created list with the category contents you could have seen that I started over half of the articles in each category, a practical example of "working to correct the WP:BIAS". I have actually done what you were preaching at me about. But your too busy whining that I nominated a massive number (2) of articles you had worked on. Don't you think it's a bit hypocritical to accuse me of supposed "extremely poor behaviour" (not that you've identified any) when you, an admin who should set an example, are making bad faithed accusations about my behaviour. An accusation of racism based on a whole two afds, one where the subject appears very far from being notable. There's nothing disruptive in my nominations. Just your reactions. duffbeerforme (talk) 10:12, 6 April 2016 (UTC)

Anthony Rodriguez (pianist)
Hope you guys are well. Anthony Rodriguez won a 2005 Bronze Telly Award on a BET Film "Tangys Song" Anthony was the producer for the theme song and also played the piano, that's a Major Award. IMDb - Also, Anthony Rodriguez just like many notable musicians around the world release records and album independently with distribution deals. Not all successful musicians are signed to a record label. He's a Music entrepreneur. I ask of you to please reconsider the nomination of deletion. If anything can perhaps be changed, please let me know. I believe in this Article. Thank you! — Preceding unsigned comment added by StrongWik (talk • contribs) 17:40, 12 April 2016 (UTC)

Found extremely Notable reference for page Elijah Yates
Hi there I found an extremely notable reference for the page Elijah Yates I included everything in the deletion discussion so you can take a look
(2601:3C4:4300:5F8F:F8AA:B41B:31AB:A735 (talk) 01:21, 22 April 2016 (UTC)).
Elijah Yates Page
Hi there I am hoping that you will take down deletion on the page
someone recently pointed out the artist being added to ROVI/ ALLmusic database as being a notable artist and checked the reference and the company and found out they only add notable artist to the database
I believe in the Elijah Yates page. Artist has charted and reached number 41 on hot 100 also from what I recently found he charted with a new song and reached number 18. I know it needs more references. Not to mention videos have been featured on MTV, BET, and VEVO for this artist. I believe in this page Not every major news outlet is gonna feature an independent artist Notable or not give it a chance and let me add more references as I find them.
Joeyfats67 (talk) 16:01, 22 April 2016 (UTC)
- Yes I saw that you pointed that out but you are wrong. They also add non notable artist. They are trying to create a comprehensive database. Yates is only listed, there is no bio or reviews so it doesn't count for notability.
- Any links for the claims of charting? duffbeerforme (talk) 00:33, 23 April 2016 (UTC)
A kitten for you!
Hey, I noticed you tagged [2] for deletion. I added the album's chart standings and MixMag review. The album meets WP:NALBUM so I took the deletion tag off.

Could you please take a look at Ivana Raymonda van der Veen?
Hi Duff!
These days I was wondering where's Duff when you need him? But now I see that you voted in an AfD. I recently nominated for deletion an article that I myself created! But then she sent a messenger to try to make me feel guilty. The whole thing got out of control and has gone to hell. However, if you could please read the article (it's not long at all) and cast a vote then things should get back on track. It doesn't matter to me which way you vote. I just really need to distract attention away from that low-budget soap opera. I would gladly send you a beer, or even two if you request another one. And if you need voter participation in an AfD you've opened then I would be happy to return the favor and vote. I could even send you an adorable kitten... just kidding! Anyway, I hope you are doing great (in the Land of Oz, I think), and it was nice to see you again. Dontreader (talk) 01:03, 12 July 2016 (UTC)
A beer for you!
For your very thorough deletion rationale on Ivana van der Veen's AfD. For example, you did a much better job than me at explaining why she doesn't meet criterion 12 of MUSICBIO, and I had never heard of WP:Bombard, so I learned something new. I will look for an article you've nominated for deletion where I feel I'm competent enough to vote. Cheers! Dontreader (talk) 00:31, 13 July 2016 (UTC) |
Website Awards
Why do you keep deleting notable website award platforms from this page that have credible articles and citations and leave others that have none?
I have been involved in the web industry for many years and have worked at design studios that have entered and won on most of the platforms listed on this page including Webby Awards, FWA (deleted?), Awwwards, Net Awards and CSS Design Awards. The others I have never even come across in day to day life but can accept that they are notable based on the duration of their existence.
Your continual deletion of CSS Design Awards in particular is suspicious as this site is very well known and launched around the same time as Awwwards. Prior to this was FWA which launched 16 years ago however I do not know if it was you that deleted this notable platform - was it you that deleted it?
Unless you provide an intelligent answer it can be assumed that you are connected to one award platform in particular and trying to sabotage their competing platforms, CSS Design Awards and FWA. Your last deletion of CSS Design Awards stated "other awards have articles" and I agree that FWA did not have any, yet CSS Design Awards has many very credible articles so this is an out and out lie which brings forth ideals of suspicion. I see also that you have been criticized before for random vandalism and have been the subject of an ANC investigation - raising further red flags as to your motivations behind your actions.
I plan on continually updating this page to reflect the more credible articles out there for Awwwards and to source articles for FWA when time permits. These platforms - and CSS Design Awards - are the true innovators in this genre and many web agencies and studios owe them thanks. I do not appreciate you deleting the work I have put in thus far on this page and if it continues I will report your actions and initiate an investigation of my own.
I await an intelligent and truthful response to alleviate my suspicions and quantify if your deletions are just and fair. Webdoctor001 (talk) 03:13, 25 July 2016 (UTC)
- You need to dial down the paranoia and instead look at yourself.
- Much of why this promotion of CSS does not belong will be addressed at Talk:Website awards, the best place for discussing that page.
- You mention "Webby Awards, FWA (deleted?), Awwwards, Net Awards". See Webby Award, net (magazine) and Awwwards. Seperaate articles for the awards or the awarding body. No such article for CSS Design Awards. Similarly FWA which is not found at Website awards.
- Beyond whats there. You need to look at WP:COI. Are your accusations just a smoke screen for your own COI. Are you adding this spam because your website purchased one of their "awards".
- Yes I've been critisised for vandalism, but every time it was look at further it was categorically found to have not been vandalism. Just unjustified accusations. What an ANC investigation is I have no idea, something you just made up?
- Please feel free to report me, just watch out for that boomerang. duffbeerforme (talk) 11:23, 26 July 2016 (UTC)

Boothman
Is there some background to all the SPAs you're aware of? I noticed the blocked sock shared an article in common with a paid editing sock farm I came across recently, which made me perhaps more cynical than I should be, but I get the sense this may be to keep a paid article rather than e.g. off-wiki coordination. Really not basing that on a lot, though. — Rhododendrites talk \\ 16:22, 8 August 2016 (UTC)
- Busy is here to promote Dod Beverde and his projects (mostly Dethcentrik). The connection to Boothman is that they were both listed as collaborators for Rust Punk Tribe. Voting there is for that reason, promoting someone related to Beverde.
- SravaniChalla is a sock of an obvious paid promoter.
- Wikipage2016 look very much like a paid promoter. Glenn Carroll is a magnet for them.
- Maybe someone is paying for votes.
- Georgeforhistory is an interesting one, only other edit is around Brannon Bates, maybe a product of a paid editor, an afd I commented in. duffbeerforme (talk) 11:36, 15 August 2016 (UTC)
Apology
It seems I owe you an apology. I can admit when I am wrong and after spending time actually getting to know Wikipedia's policies and culture, I see that you are simply doing 'the job' of an editor rather than singling out my article for a personal attack. Let me know what I can do to 'undo' my very recent retaliation. I completely understand if I don't hear from you on this and don't blame you. I'll chalk it up to another of life's lessons and yes, I'll put my paranoia in check. You have one less 'angry noob' to worry about.Webdoctor001 (talk) 02:34, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Dave McRae (Voice Actor)
Hey Duffbeerforme! Hope you're doing well.
I've been doing my best on trying to get reliable third party sources in regards to the notability of Dave McRae. I see that one of your issues was that the Voice Arts Awards were not a major award, so I thought I would tackle that first. Although I agree they are not the Oscars, Emmy's, or Grammy's, they are in fact quite a major award within the voice over industry. William Shatner, James Earl Jones, Malcum Jamal Warner, Joe Cipriano and many others have all received Voice Arts Awards. Beyonce and Ron Perlman have also received nominations. Here is a link from Variety on last years show. Variety. Here is also an article from Hollywood weekly. Hollywood Weekly. And a CBS affiliate article on this years awards. http://www.cbs58.com/story/32224491/society-of-voice-arts-and-sciences-announces-opening-of-award-entries-for-the-3rd-annual-voice-arts-awards, with a notable quote from Good Morning America calling the Voice Arts Awards "The Oscars® of voice-over acting". Here is also a link talking about the Muhammad Ali Voice of Humanity Honor which will be presented to a well-known world figure at this years show in Los Angeles. http://voiceoverxtra.com/article.htm?id=3KN27BCK
These 4 articles do not mention Dave McRae of course, but do in fact show clear evidence of not only the validity of the awards, but the notability as well. Mr. McRae's nomination from last year is mentioned via the link provided in the body of his article entitled "2015 Winners & Nominees- SOVAS". Mr. McRae's voice is heard all over North America (which is evident from the work on his website) and I will do my best to continue to look for third party information, sources, and evidence. It would be a shame to see his article deleted.

Alex Banayan
Hello,
I recently created the page Alex Banayan as I believe him to be a notable subject, as multiple well established third-party references have made that apparent. Would you mind explaining further the specifics of why the subject and its references are to be deemed un-notable?
Thank you,

jQuery is extremely notable
Since Help:Maintenance_template_removal#When_to_remove says I need to inform a user when they put a template on a page in error: jQuery is extremely notable, one of the mostly commonly used Javascript libraries used by web programming professionals. Putting a {{notability}} template on the jQuery page is a mistake. See Talk:JQuery#Links_that_establish_notability_for_jQuery for a list of five books (there are a lot more out there, but I list five) from reliable sources establishing notability for jQuery.
I have no relation to jQuery except as a user. Samboy (talk) 11:53, 17 September 2016 (UTC)

Mindstir Media AfD
In reviewing your filing at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/JessikaRita, I noticed you struck some comments by the accused users at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Mindstir Media with a notice that they are confirmed sockpuppets. The investigation showed that one of the accounts that you struck was unrelated, and another was CheckUser-confirmed but not to the account you linked them to. I think that you probably just missed the CheckUser's comment that they're unrelated (it's below the long list of confirmed accounts). I've corrected your comments in the AfD archive and left a note for the closer in case they'd like to reevaluate, although I doubt the result would change. Just letting you know. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 14:04, 10 November 2016 (UTC)
- User:Ivanvector. I only struck comments by Riferbare, the only confirmed sock in the AfD. I did not strike any others and did not identify a master as that was still under investigation. duffbeerforme (talk) 03:03, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Nick VanderLaan
You must have a very specific agenda against a Nick VanderLaan article. Per WP:G4 – "It excludes pages that are not substantially identical to the deleted version". My article on VanderLaan is nothing like the previous deleted version, which can been seen here. I have provided many independent sources and the article clearly meets WP:GNG. Have you actually considered the article's quality or have you put it up for speedy purely because you wanted it deleted last time? DaHuzyBru (talk) 09:17, 17 November 2016 (UTC)
