[edit]Hello, I'm Hey man im josh. Wikipedia is written by people who have a wide diversity of opinions, but we try hard to make sure articles have a neutral point of view. Your recent edit to Politics seemed less than neutral to me, so I removed it for now. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Hey man im josh (talk) 16:58, 21 July 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Denniss. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Stranger Things have been undone because they did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Denniss (talk) 10:46, 7 October 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content, as you did at Stranger Things, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Fieryninja (talk) 17:59, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at TomSka, you may be blocked from editing. Fieryninja (talk) 18:02, 8 October 2022 (UTC)
Quinton Reviews moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Quinton Reviews, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs some explanation of the topic with citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. - If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. - If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 16:48, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Wikipedia:Teahouse. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Theroadislong (talk) 17:00, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- Why did you link these spam pages? Do you have any connections to the websites? Please answer before making any further edits. — Ingenuity (talk • contribs) 17:10, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

Quinton
[edit]Hey, I don't recall ever collaborating with you on writing the Quinton Reviews article. I saw after creating it (from my userspace) that there was a poorly sourced draft that someone had made, but I didn't use that draft as a basis for my own article whatsoever, my writing and research for the current article was 100% my own. It's not appropriate to take credit for something someone else did just because you happened to independently have the same idea. I mean, not that I can stop you or anything, or that I even particularly want to, the content's all free use under Creative Commons and I specifically marked my own contributions as public domain, so I guess you can mirror the article on your own site or profile and say you created it if you like... but it's still kind of a bad look, y'know? Not to mention that your adding any credit at all into the article text is just inappropriate anyway. silvia (User:BlankpopsiclesilviaASHs4) (inquire within) 18:43, 1 December 2022 (UTC)
- I said the idea was revived by someone because I abandoned it, not that we collaborated on it. Drjump! (talk) 17:55, 2 December 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Copying licensed material requires attribution
[edit]Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you have added Creative Commons licensed text to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Draft:Quinton Reviews (American web series). You are welcome to import appropriate Creative Commons licensed content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Compatibly licensed sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any Creative Commons content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 03:02, 5 December 2022 (UTC)

More unsourced edits; FINAL WARNING
[edit]Just a couple of days separated from your one month long block, and you're at it again adding unsourced content here and here. Both of these edits are flat wrong, and you've provided no citation to support either of them. I am reverting your change to IFC (American TV channel), as it is blatantly obvious you are incorrect. The whole point of Lady A changing their name was to drop "antebellum" from their name, not abbreviate it. If they were abbreviating it, they would still upholding the term "antebellum" which they are trying to move away from.
This sort of editing can not and will not be tolerated on this project. You can either choose to conform to our standards here on reliable sourcing or you can find yourself the recipient of an extended block. You absolutely MUST consider this a FINAL WARNING before a very long duration block is applied to your account.
If you have ANY questions about this, ask. NOW is the time to ask. No more warnings will be given. --Hammersoft (talk) 02:56, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Ok, to prevent myself from getting banned, I will leave Wikipedia. At least someone will fulfill my work for me. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I will send my work and opinions elsewhere.
- Yours, @Drjump! Drjump! (talk) 13:15, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- Nobody is telling you to leave. Nobody. The point is you keep adding material that is unsourced, and frankly is blatantly obviously wrong. All we're asking you to do is provide sources for your changes. The case point above with Lady A is a perfect example. It's blatantly obvious the group was trying to move away from the term "antebellum", and not make "A" an abbreviation. Yet, you insisted...without a source...that it was an abbreviation. It's really simple. Provide a source, keep editing. You ARE welcome here. But, please keep in mind this is a serious project. Your opinions on articles are not welcome. They are welcome on talk pages, but not on articles. --Hammersoft (talk) 14:15, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- My apologies, I'm just trying to be careful, but IFC did drop it for the network only. Blockbuster IS back though. Drjump! (talk) 14:20, 10 January 2023 (UTC)
- With the cite I provided for IFC, it's clear it was a name change, not an acronym. --Hammersoft (talk) 14:54, 10 January 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Huggbees
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:Huggbees, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
