First Blood

[edit]

Can I move my user page name into simply just "Draven Corvis"?.. Just asking..

In a word - No. Users have their pages in userspace, a page without a "User:" prefix is an article.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:56, 10 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

oh.. I see.. Thanks man! :)

Second Blood

[edit]

How can I create my own template?.. I dunno where to start... UserTalk 18:13, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

A good general rule, if you want to know about something on Wikipedia, is to try typing its name into the search box preceded by "WP:" or by "Help:" - so WP:Template and Help:Template are good places to start. JohnCD (talk) 18:43, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Your request on my talk page: as I suggested above, try Help:Signature, Help:Wiki markup, Help:Infobox. JohnCD (talk) 18:59, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

gee.. that was a lot of stuff to read! heheh.. thanks sir! I'll continue to learn here in Wiki.. You rock! Thanks again..

Re: Template

[edit]

I don't know what navigation template you are referring to. Could you be more specific please? Additionally, another user left a message intended for you on my talk page, which you should probably read. Thanks, NiciVampireHeart 17:35, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I was refering to this one:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Template:World_Wrestling_Entertainment_employees

can you show me where in wiki could I learn this?..

anyways, I replied on you talk page.. ^_^

Template:World Wrestling Entertainment employees isn't on my user page... Anyway, check out Help:Template for information. NiciVampireHeart 14:46, 23 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I prefered an example... thanks anyway. :)

Editing Infoboxes

[edit]

Meant to mention this yesterday, associated acts, genres and record labels should be separated by commas, see Template:Infobox musical artist for more details. Happy editing! HrZ (talk) 10:29, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ohh!.. ok! gonna keep that in mind. thanks! :)

[edit]

kindly teach me where to start creating Navbox? Is it a new article? I'm kinda lost here... thanks in advance..

When you are not sure about a template - then navigate to the template page - Template:Navbox. Often there is a page of instructions to show users what to do. One word of advice - try not to make very large complicated navboxes, especially nested ones - Wikipedia has to expand up the navboxes for display, too much expansion causes the Wiki processor to abort - to prevent excess page loading times. One can check an article with a navbox to see if you may have a problem - for example - load Pentazocine, and then when loaded, in your browser menu do View...Source, scroll down to near the end of the source code and you will see.
NewPP limit report
Preprocessor node count: 5997/1000000
Post-expand include size: 259816/2048000 bytes
Template argument size: 178594/2048000 bytes
Expensive parser function count: 1/500

Ensure that the first figure for Post-expand include sizeis not close to the second one.  Ronhjones  (Talk) 19:32, 31 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Air Boom

[edit]

Hey, I saw your comment on Talk:Air Boom, but I noticed you haven't voted for it to be kept here. If we don't get a few more people to speak their minds I'm afraid the article will be deleted. Thanks mate. Deely1 20:56, 2 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

hey thanks for the keep vote. But could you paste whatever you said from the talk page into the AfD page? I don't want your vote to be rendered null just because it "wasn't part of the AfD process" Starship.paint (talk) 00:11, 7 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Your sig

Hi, your sig bleeds in to the line above and below it, could you shorten the height of your sig to correct this? Thanks. CRRaysHead90 | Another way... 01:58, 11 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. In Shiima Xion, you recently added a link to the disambiguation page Filipino (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

Contested deletion

Block message:

Autoblocked because your IP address was recently used by "Moi Magnum". The reason given for Moi Magnum's block is: "Clearly not here to contribute to the encyclopedia".

Decline reason: It is quite evident that you and Moi Magnum are the same user. kelapstick(bainuu) 02:35, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This was a huge mistake. He used my PC and some of my files here. Why can't you believe me, kelapstick?

This account sat dormant for two years until it got caught in an AutoBlock when Moi Magnum was blocked. Also directly above this section, the account Moi Magnum says "This page should not be speedily deleted because this is my original user page. " --kelapstick(bainuu) 02:45, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes I haven't used my account for years, until my officemate told me that he discovered that my wikipage got deleted. He lied to you when he said my userpage was his own kelapstick.

So what you are saying, is that a few years ago you created all these subpages around stuff that you made up, then quit editing. Then in December, your office mate creates an account, and a userpage that is near identical to yours, and starts editing all of your subpages. Then all the pages get deleted, and he gets blocked. And you get caught in the autoblock because he was using your computer one time. I don't know what kind of idiot you think I am, but I know that this is blatantly false.--kelapstick(bainuu) 03:13, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am not saying that ma'am/sir. "created all these subpages around stuff that you made up" - I was practicing way back then. I got busy with work and other professional issues. "then quit editing" - Judgement call? No, I didn't quit. I just found out this situation, kelapstick.

No I do not believe you. I have also directly blocked this account for sockpuppetry. --kelapstick(bainuu) 03:35, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Very nice of you and your SuckCocketry, kelapstick. Instead of cooperating with me, victim from all of this crap. I hope there's more open-minded admin here for help.

Someone's PC has been used

[edit]

Been contributing here in Wikipedia Special:Contributions/Draven Corvis. And my officemate told me about this. He wasn't here today as I am writing this. Kindly lift the block from my IP address, then just block that user. Thank you.

Wow. Even My Userpage got affected with his block!

[edit]

Asking for a kind admin to understand this situation. Thanks.

Changed to the admin template since you said your looking for admin help. --Terra 03:03, 26 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello User:TerraCodes, can you help me resolve my problem? My PC's IP add got blocked from Wikipedia because my officemate got screwed here and then my userpage got involved from his block here. He even said that my userpage was his own. I feel I am a victim here and it feels like my freedom here to contribute in Wikipedia were stolen from me. Please help me resolve this misunderstanding from the other admins here. You can check my contributions that I am here in good faith and intentions to make Wikipedia a better place for readers.. Please understand too User:Coffee.

Well then, thanks and I'll just move on from this. This page has already been fucked-up anyways.

  • Thanks to your posting a request for help from an administrator, I have wasted a substantial amount of my time checking the history of the two accounts in question, only to find that it is so abundantly clear that your story about your "officemate" is a pack of lies that you really must think we are idiots.
