Speedy deletion nomination of Bharatpedia
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Bharatpedia, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement of https://owiki.org/wiki/Wikipedia. (See section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Veer Chandra Singh Garhwali, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs to be re-written to adhere to WP:NPOV. It could also use more citations from reliable and independent sources. (?) Information that can't be neutral should be removed (neutrality is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. –MJL ‐Talk‐☖ 23:25, 5 April 2022 (UTC)

Alternate accounts
[edit]Hi. I understand that this is an alternate account WP:VALIDALT of TheManishPanwar (talk · contribs), disclosing that on your userpage is a good practice [1]. I'll remind you that using alternate accounts for illegitimate purposes is not allowed WP:SOCK. This is cross-posted on TheManishPanwar's talk page as well — DaxServer (t · m · c) 20:03, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- P.S. If you have more alternate accounts, I'd advise disclosing them as well — DaxServer (t · m · c) 20:04, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- Cross-posting, this edit from TheManishPanwar giving barnstar to DotServer is wierd and I'd say personally that it's borderline illegitimate. Please do not repeat it again — DaxServer (t · m · c) 20:12, 29 May 2022 (UTC)
- See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/TheManishPanwar. I believe your use of multiple accounts has more than crossed the line 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 22:51, 31 May 2022 (UTC)
South Asian social groups
[edit]This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.
You have shown interest in South Asian social groups. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose discretionary sanctions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic. For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor. |

[edit]Hello DotServer. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:DotServer. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=DotServer|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message.
It is abundantly clear that you are Manish Panwar, of the Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited, and that you are, broadly construed, engaged in paid editing 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 21:22, 15 June 2022 (UTC)
As previously advised, your edits, such as the edit you made to Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, give the impression you have a financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. You were asked to cease editing until you responded by either stating that you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits, or by complying with the mandatory requirements under the Wikimedia Terms of Use that you disclose your employer, client and affiliation. Again, you can post such a disclosure on your user page at User:DotServer, and the template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=DotServer|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. Please respond before making any other edits to Wikipedia. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 13:06, 16 June 2022 (UTC)

- You might not be "paid" to edit the article, but in case it's not clear, if you work for the Power Corporation, then you ARE a "paid editor" by Wikipedia's definition. I think the language or wording is maybe confusing you here. 73.127.147.187 (talk) 06:46, 17 June 2022 (UTC)

Your edit to Pritam Bhartwan has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license.
