Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Homeostasis, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Effector (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 09:06, 27 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello,

I noticed you added a large number of tags to Netherthird. In the future, try to avoid using several specific tags when a single, more general tag will do. For instance, {essay-like|date=July 2018}}, {tone|date=July 2018}}, and {verbosity|date=July 2018}} all fall under {copy edit|date=July 2018}}, so it is best to simply list the copyedit tag. This cuts down on overtagging, and the GOCE will get to the page in the same amount of time regardless. Happy editing, Xevus11 (talk) 03:41, 26 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 17:10, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Discretionary sanctions alert

[edit]

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hello and thank you for creating the New Kituwah Academy article. If you happen to be so inclined as to create another article on a related topic, I thought that an article on the Oklahoma immersion school would be a worthy target. It was covered in the Tulsa World article, "As first students graduate, Cherokee immersion program faces critical test: Will the language survive?" Archive URL, for example. That school might end up being the key to the survival of the language. Hopefully the NC school helps save their dialect as well, but I've read that they haven't yet gotten to proclaim that their efforts have resulted in a fluent speaker.[1] Best wishes. Dominion v. Fox

hi,

you appear to have pasted a huge volume of content into the article with little scrutiny of its merit. I'll just leave that here and allow you to consider what if anything you'd like to do about it. soibangla (talk) 22:46, 5 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Quotes on maps

[edit]

Hey there, I undid your edit at Inferno (Counter-Strike) and just wanted to drop you a note since I saw you started to make the same edit in other places. I assume you're referencing the line at WP:VG/STYLE that says Individual video game levels, chapters, or episodes of a standalone video game should use standard double quotes (for example, "Milkman Conspiracy"), but video game multiplayer maps shouldn't be in quotes. Unlike individual levels, maps aren't analogous to books/written works/chapters that are usually given quote marks in other style guides (and you can see that, e.g., all of the sources talking about multiplayer maps don't use quotes). CS1 error on Rehbinder effect

[edit]

Hello, I'm Qwerfjkl (bot). I have automatically detected that this edit performed by you, on the page Rehbinder effect, may have introduced referencing errors. They are as follows:

  • A "missing title" error. References show this error when they do not have a title. Please edit the article to add the appropriate title parameter to the reference. (Fix | Ask for help)

Please check this page and fix the errors highlighted. If you think this is a false positive, you can report it to my operator. Thanks, Qwerfjkl (bot) (talk) 02:05, 8 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I see you recently moved this page. However, it's left double redirects. E.g. Chillagoe smelters links to this article but has been left as a double redirect. Could you take a look please and sort it out. Thanks Kerry (talk) Kerry (talk) 06:07, 10 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Invitation to join New pages patrol

[edit]

Hello DividedFrame!

  • The New Pages Patrol is currently struggling to keep up with the influx of new articles needing review. We could use a few extra hands to help.
  • We think that someone with your activity and experience is very likely to meet the guidelines for granting.
  • Reviewing/patrolling a page doesn't take much time, but it requires a strong understanding of Wikipedia’s CSD policy and notability guidelines.
  • Kindly read the tutorial before making your decision, and feel free to post on the project talk page with questions.
  • If patrolling new pages is something you'd be willing to help out with, please consider applying here.

Thank you for your consideration. We hope to see you around!

Hi

[edit]

@DividedFrame I have changed your edits to GCSB, NZSIS and DDIS. You mentioned format but I think you have it wrong. Please see MOS:LEADLANG and example articles like New Zealand. It doesn't use a semicolon to split them and uses brackets around the non-English name instead. Also when done with a semicolon, the abbreviation's for the four and five letter agencies are missing when previewing the articles. Kiwiz1338 (talk) 14:16, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi DividedFrame. Thank you for your work on Jenny Tian. Another editor, Broc, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for creating the page! Please note that there are two dead links in the sources, and per MOS:NATIONALITY the ethnicity should not be added to the lead section, but rather the nationality.

To reply, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Broc}}. (Message delivered via the Page Curation tool, on behalf of the reviewer.)

Error on starship page

[edit]

Hi, on SpaceX Starship there is a big citation problem in the "space colonization" section. I would solve it myself, but the page is protected, thus asking you as the last editor. The statement "with George Dvorsky writing for Gizmodo commenting that we are not "remotely close" to turning this "into something practical"" is referenced with an unrelated article that has absolutely nothing to do with MOXIE or similar. I have no idea where that came from (tried to google without success) and suggest just to delete this opinion and to source the rest of the MOXIE section with this citation from the MOXIE article: [1] If you agree, please just do it, thanks. 47.69.68.17 (talk) 09:59, 19 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]
