Links to draft articles
[edit]Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to 42 Dugg. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 15:47, 8 November 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, I know it needs to be improved bigtime, I just made that article because 42 Dugg's article has no discography or track listing at all, and I d'ont know how to make it not be a draft, I don't know if you know anybody who could make an actual article for 42 Dugg's discography, but if you do it would be really helpful and I would really appreciate it, Again Sorry about the Draft and thanks for this note. Welcome!
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; however, please remember the essential rule of respecting copyrights. Edits to Wikipedia, such as your edit to the page Marshall County Schools (Tennessee), may not contain material from copyrighted sources unless that text is available under a suitable free license. It is almost never okay to copy extensive text out of a book or website and paste it into a Wikipedia article with little or no alteration, though you can clearly and briefly quote copyrighted text in the right circumstances. Content that does not comply with this legal rule must be removed. For more information on this, see:

Per WP:V and WP:CHALLENGE, please do not simply reinstate content which was removed due to lack of sourcing. Whilst it is the case that content in the lead generally summarises the main article and does not need to be referenced if it is referenced later, your introduction added stuff not elsewhere - an assertion of "major recognition", and a claim that "critics hope it will be a standout album", for example. With those phrases in particular, remember also that this is an encyclopaedia, not a fan site: see WP:PEACOCK too. Dorsetonian (talk) 09:49, 18 November 2023 (UTC)

Hello, DallMarl29-1035347. I noticed that your recent edit to Roddy Ricch discography added a link to an image on an external website or on your computer, or to a file name that does not exist on Wikipedia's server. For technical and policy reasons it is not possible to use images from external sources on Wikipedia. Most images you find on the internet are copyrighted and cannot be used on Wikipedia, or their use is subject to certain restrictions. If the image meets Wikipedia's image use policy, consider uploading it to Wikipedia yourself or request that someone else upload it. See the image tutorial to learn about wiki syntax used for images. Thank you. - Sumanuil. (talk to me) 01:30, 15 December 2023 (UTC)
Please stop your disruptive editing.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Stunna 4 Vegas, you may be blocked from editing. Saying an article coming soon
is not generally acceptable. Please consider reviewing the helpful links here. ~ Pbritti (talk) 22:54, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
Hello, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to an article, Flu Game (Lil Mosey song). While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments belong on the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and may respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. However, keep in mind that even on the talk page of an article, you should limit your discussion to improving the article. Article talk pages are not the place to discuss opinions of the subject of articles, nor are such pages a forum. Thank you. Adakiko (talk) 21:39, 28 December 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for the note, if you know how to add an image to a Wikipedia article it will be helpful, an image of the cover art for "Flu Game" is needed on the article and I don't know how to add an image to an article, thank you and have a nice day. Your edit to Tip Toe (Roddy Ricch song) has been removed in whole or in part, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted material, including text or images from print publications or from other websites, without an appropriate and verifiable license. All such contributions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and persistent violators of our copyright policy will be blocked from editing. See Wikipedia:Copying text from other sources for more information. — Diannaa (talk) 21:39, 30 December 2023 (UTC)

Removal of images from Roddy Rich articles
[edit]I have removed the images you added to Roddy Ricch and Roddy Ricch discography because they violate WP:NFCC. Album covers may not be used as simple illustrations of the artist who performs the album; they may be used for identification purposes on articles about the album in question, but that's not how you're using the images.
Simply put, the image to illustrate a living artist must be a free image. —C.Fred (talk) 18:40, 31 December 2023 (UTC)

- Hi, DallMarl29-1035347, just wanted to clarify on Robert McClenon's behalf: this draft has not been accepted as an article yet. There are some additional things that need to be done. Please refer the draft page to see the comment. ~ Pbritti (talk) 00:40, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Hi Pbritti, I am not sure what Robert McClenon is trying to say on his comment on the Down Below (Roddy Ricch song) article, should I ask him or you for help? DallMarl29-1035347 (talk) 00:46, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
- Ah, yes, that is a fairly complicated comment. What Robert McClenon is saying is that the name of the draft needed to be changed. Wikipedia disambiguates certain pages, allowing topics with the same name to be covered while also enabling readers to see if the article they're clicking on is for the subject they're looking for. Generally, disambiguating phrases like "(song)"–which is what you used when you created the article–are sufficient. However, sometimes that is insufficient to fully disambiguate an article (in this case, there are other articles on songs called "Down Below"; see the disambiguation page Down Below). If you are still confused, please just reply here! ~ Pbritti (talk) 01:38, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

Replaceable non-free use File:Roddy Ricch in 2020.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Roddy Ricch in 2020.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of non-free use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of non-free use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{Di-replaceable non-free use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable non-free use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification, per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

File copyright problem with File:Cottonwood 2 (Deluxe).jpeg
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Cottonwood 2 (Deluxe).jpeg. However, it is currently missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can verify that it has an acceptable license status and a verifiable source. Please add this information by editing the image description page. You may refer to the image use policy to learn what files you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. The page on copyright tags may help you to find the correct tag to use for your file. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please also check any other files you may have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation.

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Roddy Ricch. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Stop adding the Good Article template. This biography has not been formally reviewed through the WP:GAN process. Binksternet (talk) 23:34, 2 January 2024 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Roddy Ricch shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war; read about how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Binksternet (talk) 23:35, 2 January 2024 (UTC)

- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Roddy Ricch, you may be blocked from editing. Adding inappropriate Good Article or Featured Article templates to the article, as well as persisting in using a Bing search result as a source, call into question whether any part of your edit is constructive. —C.Fred (talk) 05:11, 7 January 2024 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Big30 in 2021.jpeg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Big30 in 2021.jpeg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:
- state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
- add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Orphaned non-free image File:Roddy Ricch - Feed Tha Streets.jpeg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Roddy Ricch - Feed Tha Streets.jpeg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:34, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
