Response to block appeal
[edit]I have received a personal unblock appeal from Katarighe. A response was sent by email; however as this bounced back because the email account appears to be full, my response is given below:
I'm pleased to hear that you are editing constructively. Well done.
As regard unblocking you now. The standard offer is six months, and that is what has been agreed. There are several reasons why six months was chosen, part of which is that the Wikipedia community need to see a prolonged period of appropriate activity without problems, part of which is that the community would like to see the commitment demonstrated by waiting a decent period and then still wishing to take part in the encyclopaedia, and part of which is the community would like to see patience. Many disputes arise because an editor is in too much of a hurry to do something, and is not prepared to wait for consensus.
While this request is not held against you, repeated attempts to pressure the Committee to unblock you will be taken into account. Be aware that the Committee are not obliged to unblock you in six months time, and may decline your appeal if it is felt that your behaviour is inappropriate in any way.
I note that despite your unblock appeal being turned down by the Committee that you have been asking people on your talkpage to unblock you, and that Worm That Turned has today removed your access to your talkpage. I strongly advise you to refrain from approaching anyone on Wikipedia in regards to getting yourself unblocked. What is required from you now is patience. Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Uw-dontremovewarnings
[edit]A tag has been placed on Template:Uw-dontremovewarnings requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T2 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an unambiguous misrepresentation of established policy.
If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. New Page Triage engagement strategy released
[edit]Hey guys!
I'm dropping you a note because you filled out the New Page Patrol survey, and indicated you'd be interested in being contacted about follow-up work. This is to notify you that we've finally released both the initial documentation about the project and also the engagement strategy, which sets out how we plan to work with the community on this. Please give both a read, and leave any comments or suggestions you have on the talkpage, on my talkpage, or in my inbox - okeyeswikimedia.org.
It's awesome to finally get to start work on this! :). Okeyes (WMF) (talk) 02:35, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
A cup of tea for you!

Article of the month – List of Formula One circuits, currently listed for Peer Review
The first Grand Prix was held in 1950 at Silverstone; since then 68 circuits have hosted a Grand Prix. Circuits such as the Nürburgring have hosted Grands Prix using different configurations. The first race at the circuit used the 22 kilometres (14 mi) circuit, but concerns over safety meant that more recent Grands Prix have used a shorter, safer circuit. F1 circuits were predominately in Europe during the early years of the championship, as the sport has expanded so has the location of its circuits. New circuits have been used in Asia and America, the change has been a recent occurrence. Of the 20 circuits that will host a Grand Prix in 2012, nearly half were not on the calendar before 1999. The Autodromo Nazionale Monza has hosted the most Grands Prix; it has been used as the circuit for the Italian Grand Prix 61 times. The only season it did not host a race was in 1980, when the Italian Grand Prix was held at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The most recent circuit to have hosted a Grand Prix was the Buddh International Circuit, which hosted the Indian Grand Prix in 2011. The Circuit of the Americas is set to become the latest different circuit to host a Grand Prix; when the United States Grand Prix is staged there in 2012, at Austin, Texas. The Pescara Circuit is the longest circuit to have hosted a Grand Prix. The 25.800 km (16.031 mi) long circuit normally held the Coppa Acerbo race, it hosted one World Championship race, the 1957 Pescara Grand Prix. As some circuits have hosted Grands Prix using different configurations, the most recent configuration used is listed in the table below. The Great Revival: CVU Vandalism Studies Project
[edit]Hi! We're dropping you this rather unexpected message on your talk page because you signed up (either quite a while ago or rather recently) to be a member of the Vandalism Studies project. Sadly, the project fell into semi-retirement a few years ago, but as part of a new plan to fix up the Counter-Vandalism Unit, we're bringing back the Vandalism Studies project, with a new study planned for Late 2012! But we need your help. Are you still interested in working with us on this project? Then please sign up today! (even if you signed up previously, you'll still need to sign up again - we're redoing our member list in order to not harass those who are no longer active on the Wiki - sorry!) If you have any questions, please leave them on this page. Thanks, and we can't wait to bring the project back to life! -Theopolisme (talk) & Dan653 (talk), Coordinators
WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)
[edit]Hello, you are receiving this message because you are currently a participant of WikiProject Good articles. Since the creation of the WikiProject, over 200 user's have joined to help review good article nominations and contribute to other sections of the WikiProject. Over the years, several of these users have stopped reviewing articles and/or have become inactive with the project but are still listed as participates. In order to improve communications with other participants and get newsletters sent out faster (newsletters will begin to be sent out monthly starting in October) all participants that are no longer active with the WikiProject will be removed from the participants list.
If you are still interested in being a participant for this WikiProject, please sign your user name here and please help review some articles so we can reduce the size of the backlog. If you are no longer interested, you do not need to sign your name anywhere and your name will be removed from the participants list after the deadline. Remember that even if you are not interested at this time, you can always re-add your name to the list whenever you want. The deadline to sign your name on the page above will be November 1, 2012. Thank-you. 13:28, 22 September 2012 (UTC)
Update for: WikiProject Good articles (Participant Clean-Up)
[edit]Sorry for having to send out a second message but a user has brought to my attention that a point mentioned in the first message should be clarified. If user's don't sign on this page, they will be moved to an "Inactive Participants" list rather then be being removed from the entire WikiProject. Sorry for any confusion.--Dom497 (talk)15:18, 22 September 2012 (UTC)

ArbCom unblock appeal
[edit]The Arbitration Committee has carefully considered the user's appeal and has declined to unblock at this time. After six months of not editing Wikipedia under any account including IP accounts the user may again apply to have the block reviewed. As the user has been citing WP:CIR in their appeals, they are advised that WP:CIR means "Competence is required" - which means that a user needs to have the appropriate skills and knowledge to edit Wikipedia without causing problems for other users.
For the Arbitration Committee. SilkTork ✔Tea time 14:39, 9 December 2012 (UTC)
