Time 100

Why was my edit reverted? it is an irrelevant opinion by one person that doesn't belong there. 148.77.10.25 (talk) 21:19, 28 November 2019 (UTC)

"Unconstructive editing" REALLY.

It isn't unconstructive. I was only trying to help. You make me feel unwelcome. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.205.36.93 (talk) 18:04, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

Creating the 2020 season article this early and without any seasonal forecasts issued violates WP:CRYSTAL and therefore it is unconstructive. Feel free to recreate the article around mid-December once the extended range forecasts come out. CycloneYoris talk! 18:28, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

Jimmy Kimmel revert.

I added content that was directly from Jimmy Kimmel's show. A couple weeks ago, it was revealed how Jimmy Kimmel would die. I believe it was the episode from November 13, 2019, when Kelsea Ballerini wished him a happy birthday. They confirm the date and method of Jimmy's future death by meatball sub. You should do your research before you delete factual edits.

Hrumph! Lawnessd (talk) 19:17, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

And you should learn how to add proper sources per WP:UNSOURCED before trying to tell me what to do! The content you added to Jimmy Kimmel's article did not have any sources and that's why it was removed. CycloneYoris talk! 19:31, 2 December 2019 (UTC)

You can chill out.

It was a mistake. No need for the exclamations in edit summaries like this! Ss112 00:32, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

@Ss112: Oh, my bad! I wasn’t even aware you were making those edits, I thought it was some random IP or something. CycloneYoris talk! 00:43, 8 March 2020 (UTC)

Caption but no image

To answer your question of "Why is there a caption if there's no image?" at Frankie Cocozza, this is almost always due to a bot removing an image that was deleted on Commons. (Checking the edit history, yes, here we go.) Sometimes this is due to a fan replacing a low quality public domain photo with a better but copyrighted one they found online, meaning that the original image can be restored, although that wasn't the case here, and I can't see any photos of this guy on Commons. --Lord Belbury (talk) 09:15, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

Neither did I, that’s why I removed the caption since it was completely useless! And the IP was editing it for no apparent reason. But anyway, thanks for taking your time to answer my question. Much appreciated! CycloneYoris talk! 16:07, 11 March 2020 (UTC)

regarding my edits on dc comics

hello... i am a new user here on Wikipedia, and I've come to see that my contributions on the articles comics and dc comics have been reverted. I do not see why they aren't suitable for the article, given that they both were veracious facts linked to the topics. -thejuiceboxraider — Preceding unsigned comment added by Juiceboxraider (talkcontribs) 05:32, 1 May 2020 (UTC)

White Latin Americans

Hi, I did not remove or deleted any template or content from the article White Latin Americans, I only added a pic of Gloria Estefan to the Cuba section of the article. I did it without login into my account but that´s no reason to delete my contribution. PS: I´m adding it again. Regards Yazle (talk) 02:18, 6 May 2020 (UTC)

Note on relisting

Just letting you know that RGUIDE says: If a good-faith RfD nomination proposes to delete a redirect and has no discussion, the default result is delete. Remember this for future relistings. Thanks, J947 [cont] 23:28, 15 May 2020 (UTC)

@J947: I was already aware of that, but thanks anyway. CycloneYoris talk! 23:35, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
I had noticed this relisting; it's better to leave it to admins who have to option to delete. J947 [cont] 23:48, 15 May 2020 (UTC)
Still, a clearer consensus was needed for that nomination; at least in my opinion. CycloneYoris talk! 00:04, 16 May 2020 (UTC)
Fair enough. J947 [cont] 05:02, 16 May 2020 (UTC)

Rollback granted

Hi CycloneYoris. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Anarchyte (talkwork) 10:26, 17 May 2020 (UTC)
