Disambiguation link notification for July 17
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bicknell-Armington Lightning Splitter House, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Clapboard. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Covered Bridges Today
I think the correct procedure will be to nominate the article for GA again, and I will be happy to take up the review if you tell me when you have nominated it. I was a bit unkind to fail it without giving you warning last time, but you were aware that I had taken on the review, and I had given you a fortnight to respond. Cwmhiraeth (talk) 17:42, 18 July 2015 (UTC)
- Cwmhiraeth - I did renom it and to be perfectly honest, my time on Wikipedia has been so terribly sporadic and my attention at the time so spread thin that I only noticed after the fail notification. Still, your comments are helpful and I took another pass at it and consulted the text for a few more illustrative points that I missed in the original writing. I'll be in touch. License tagging for File:For Her Sake.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:For Her Sake.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:05, 24 July 2015 (UTC)

Can you find anything more on this? I'll be taking to GA anyway, but let me know if you can find anything before I nom.♦ Dr. Blofeld 13:48, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- I did some work on it. The plot could use some love though. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 15:01, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks, I can't see a way we can expand the plot. Well watch it and see if you agree.♦ Dr. Blofeld 15:58, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- @Dr. Blofeld: - Kinda rushed me through with doing the film earlier than expected! I wrote up a summary with aid of the modern synopsis. I really do disagree with the "heaven" claim being put in for the "DON'T CRY, IT'S ONLY MAKE BELIEVE" intertitle. No offense to whomever wrote the modern synopsis, but Thanhouser and all other films do not depict a "heavenly reunion" in such a way. Especially not with a close-up shot after a clear reference for children. A melodrama with a dead child and a grieving dog coupled with the fact that Thanhouser was popular and often catered to child audiences - clearly someone at Thanhouser was thinking about their audiences. Anyways, I'm content that it will meet GA now. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 21:28, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
- @Dr. Blofeld: - I'm absolutely certain Shep was the adult dog in Shep, the Hero. I had to sort through some film stills, since most showed the "Shep puppy". I found one in the Majestic ad that clearly shows our Shep. I know I have a bunch of film stills I've identified and such, but they keep changing their servers. Sadly, it makes the task of sharing knowledge and correcting mistakes to be difficult. Wikipedia however is the first hit for many of these old films. Might need to do some digging in other archives, I got lucky with the censored scene for St. Elmo (1914 film) in a newspaper. I never like to do FA reviews, but A Dog's Love probably is nearing that now. ChrisGualtieri (talk) 22:09, 31 July 2015 (UTC)
