[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Peller (comedian), without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Can you please allow the page move request to get participation and last for seven days to allow consensus to be reached per WP:RM? Vanderwaalforces (talk) 22:59, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
Please refrain from making test edits in Wikipedia pages, such as those you made to Nicolaas van Wijk, even if you intend to fix them later. Your edits have been reverted. If you would like to experiment again, please use your sandbox. Thank you. ThaesOfereode (talk) 23:17, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
- Welcome! Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 23:18, 5 January 2025 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at EV Group. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:13, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Dclemens1971 Hello, you flagged the page to add, and I'm volunteering to properly edit it. But you're disturbing my process. I'm not the article creator, I'm just volunteering. I see your flagged the page in afd, with a statement that the company has not reliable references, upon a single search query, Google returned many references, which is why I'm restructuring. please let's avoid the clash and let me work on the article, it will still be in afd, the tag will not be removed. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 15:16, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- You can edit the page without blanking whole sections and removing every existing reference. What you're doing is disruptive. Feel free to improve the page, but do so without removing entire sections. Feel free to use your sandbox if you need a space for test edits or to save work that's not ready to move into mainspace. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:18, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Dclemens1971 What you're doing is suppressing information. if you can check clearly on the history, there's only one instance of blanking where I removed the entire content to put in something fresh, didn't event take 30 seconds. you reverted it before I finished.
- Now I'm done with the article, and inserting references to it which I find valid. then you reverted the whole page again. don't you think it's stressing?
- please permit me to finish editing it, won't take more than 3 minutes. all I ask is for you to look away. thanks Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 15:21, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- I didn't revert your first blanking, @Warrenmck did. And your last revision left zero references, it just took them away completely, which is unacceptable to leave in mainspace. That's what a sandbox is for; if you are replacing references, wait until you have the new references ready to add. Finally, I never said all the references are unacceptable; I only said that none of them establish the notability of the company. Dclemens1971 (talk) 15:25, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

Akinola Alabi and RM procedures
[edit]Hey! I see you moved Akinola Alabi after having started a requested move yourself. If you're going to start a requested move discussion, you should be waiting until an uninvolved editor closes it (see the closing instructions for requested moves for more info). You can move pages without requested move discussions, but if you expect anyone to oppose the move, you should take it through RM.
Given I am also involved (I !voted for titling it Akin Alabi), I don't feel comfortable reverting this myself to wait for an official close or relist without having you okay it, so are you okay with me reverting the move to wait for an official close? (I would ask you to revert it yourself, but I don't think you can for technical reasons.) Skarmory (talk • contribs) 00:04, 6 January 2025 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Cameremote. Thank you for your work on House Committee on Defense (Nigeria). Another editor, Klbrain, has reviewed it as part of new pages patrol and left the following comment:

Thanks for another in the series of House Commitees in Nigeria; consistently formatted. Demonstrates notability and gives scope for discussing the work of the committee further.

@Klbrain: Thank you for reviewing the article and for your encouraging feedback! I'm glad I came up to your expectations. Please consistently review my work, if possible, as this would would encourage me to do more better. I say cheers to more sensible editing, what do you say?
- You're doing good work, but it's fairer if we don't have 'editors on tap' - that way, you can get a broader range of feedback! and don't forget to sign your posts, even on your own talk page ;) Klbrain (talk) 00:11, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
Assessing articles
[edit]Thanks for your work on assessing articles. Please could you put any WikiProject banners inside the banner shell at the top of the page, rather tham creating a new section. I've fixed Talk:El Fadhel Baadji for you. Regards — Martin (MSGJ · talk) 09:40, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @MSGJ Immensely appreciated. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 09:44, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- I have also been fixing this and have communicated with you via edit summaries. Also, do not rate supposedly Stub-class articles as C-class or Start-class as it's deceptive and unhelpful. Happy editing. Vanderwaalforces (talk) 09:44, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
- @Vanderwaalforces I will sincerely appreciate if you can drop me messages or feedbacks on my talkpage rather than on summaries. It's likely I didn't even see your feedback from the summaries.
- I also thank you for your efforts. I say cheers to sensible editing, I'm always under your mentorship. Cameremote (talk) I came from a remote place 09:48, 8 January 2025 (UTC)

This page is actively up for an AfD and is being worked on by several people, blanking it is inappropriate and will always result in it being reverted back to its previous state. Warrenᚋᚐᚊᚔ 15:19, 8 January 2025 (UTC)
