You should also check the page history and make sure an article has never been PROD'd before or taken to AFD. This article was nominated at AFD twice so it is ineligible for a PROD. You can see that it has been taken to AFD by looking at the edit summaries in the page history...this is why it is essential for you to leave an edit summary when you PROD a page so it is easily seen that the page has been PROD'd before. Character articles

Hey, I've noticed you working on some video game character articles. Nice work on Rebecca Chambers.

I myself have been cooking this up: User:MoonJet/Amy Rose

Amy Rose is currently a redirect, but I've been trying to change that. The last discussion for a de-merge ended in consensus against that, but I have since found more sourcing for her, much of which I've added to my sandbox now. What do you think? MoonJet (talk) 23:19, 16 May 2022 (UTC)

Hi there. Unfortunately, on first glance, the article is a clear ref bomb in the reception section. Amy Rose still isn't notable. Most of the sources are passing mentions and include irrelevent sources like GameRant or MovieWeb, etc. There is nothing you can do for Amy Rose but wait for a more reliable source to come along that definitely talks about the character. What about the second paragraph in the reception section which talks about her real-world significance? Besides that, there's this, which goes into Amy's creation and the sort. I've stated why I think the source is reliable, but if there's disputes on that, maybe a discussion is needed on that site. GameRant is fine to use for anything that is not an WP:EXCEPTIONAL claim, or at BLPs, as WP:VG/S says. Most of these have not been provided in the last de-merge discussion.
