Speedy deletion nomination of Tarar,Bhagalpur
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Tarar,Bhagalpur requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, a question that should have been asked at the help or reference desks, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Article titles
[edit]Hi there, thank you for your edits. Please be mindful that all of your articles are created under the wrong title at the moment.
For example, Makarpur,Bhagalpur is wrong for two reasons. Firstly, if the 'Bhagalpur' is necessary at all, there should be a space after the comma, which is the correct English grammar. So it should be 'Makarpur, Bhagalpur' instead of 'Makarpur,Bhagalpur'.
Second problem is the 'Bhagalpur' is completely unnecessary since there is no article for Makarpur, we should use that title. Only add the second part if there is already another article about a town with the same name somewhere else. Note that we have Paris and not Paris, France for the same reason. File source problem with File:Budhanath Temple.png
[edit]Thank you for uploading File:Budhanath Temple.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.
If the necessary information is not added within the next seven days, the image will be deleted. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.
Please refer to the image use policy to learn what images you can or cannot upload on Wikipedia. Please also check any other files you have uploaded to make sure they are correctly tagged. Here is a list of your uploads. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 18:04, 15 July 2023 (UTC)

License tagging for File:Ajgaibinath Temple.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Ajgaibinath Temple.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 17:30, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Darbhanga, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Maithili. [edit]Thank you for your contributions. It seems that you may have added public domain content to one or more Wikipedia articles, such as Katihar. You are welcome to import appropriate public domain content to articles, but in order to meet the Wikipedia guideline on plagiarism, such content must be fully attributed. This requires not only acknowledging the source, but acknowledging that the source is copied. There are several methods to do this described at Wikipedia:Plagiarism#Public-domain sources, including the usage of an attribution template. Please make sure that any public domain content you have already imported is fully attributed. Thank you. — SamX [talk · contribs] 13:55, 23 July 2023 (UTC)
Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Categories for discussion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Categories for discussion debates, as you did with Category:Villages in Anga Region. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of a category, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. –LaundryPizza03 (dc̄) 01:22, 30 July 2023 (UTC)
Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Bokaro district. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.
- If you are engaged in an article content dispute with another editor, please discuss the matter with the editor at their talk page, or the article's talk page, and seek consensus with them. Alternatively, you can read Wikipedia's dispute resolution page, and ask for independent help at one of the relevant noticeboards.
- If you are engaged in any other form of dispute that is not covered on the dispute resolution page, please seek assistance at Wikipedia's Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents.
Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Census doesn't recognise Angika language. Do not falsify census data. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:45, 30 July 2023 (UTC)

Wikipedia and copyright
[edit]Hello Biharpro7252! Your additions to Budhanath temple have been removed in whole or in part, as they appear to have added copyrighted content without evidence that the source material is in the public domain or has been released by its owner or legal agent under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. (To request such a release, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission.) While we appreciate your contributions to Wikipedia, there are certain things you must keep in mind about using information from sources to avoid copyright and plagiarism issues.
- You can only copy/translate a small amount of a source, and you must mark what you take as a direct quotation with double quotation marks (") and cite the source using an inline citation. You can read about this at Wikipedia:Non-free content in the sections on "text". See also Help:Referencing for beginners, for how to cite sources here.
- Aside from limited quotation, you must put all information in your own words and structure, in proper paraphrase. Following the source's words too closely can create copyright problems, so it is not permitted here; see Wikipedia:Close paraphrasing. Even when using your own words, you are still, however, asked to cite your sources to verify the information and to demonstrate that the content is not original research.
- We have strict guidelines on the usage of copyrighted images. Fair use images must meet all ten of the non-free content criteria in order to be used in articles, or they will be deleted. To be used on Wikipedia, all other images must be made available under a free and open copyright license that allows commercial and derivative reuse.
- If you own the copyright to the source you want to copy or are a legally designated agent, you may be able to license that text so that we can publish it here. Understand, though, that unlike many other sites, where a person can license their content for use there and retain non-free ownership, that is not possible at Wikipedia. Rather, the release of content must be irrevocable, to the world, into either the public domain (PD) or under a suitably-free and compatible copyright license. Please see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials.
- Also note that Wikipedia articles may not be copied or translated without attribution. If you want to copy or translate from another Wikipedia project or article, you must follow the copyright attribution steps described at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. See also Help:Translation#License requirements.
It's very important that contributors understand and follow these practices, as policy requires that people who persistently do not must be blocked from editing. If you have any questions about this, please ask them here on this page, or leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. — SamX [talk · contribs] 14:23, 23 July 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Anga (region)
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Anga (region), requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at articles for deletion. (See section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) If a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
- It appears to be about something made up, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
Introduction to contentious topics
[edit]You have recently edited a page related to India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, a topic designated as contentious. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.
A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced, and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.
Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:
- adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
- comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
- follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
- comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
- refrain from gaming the system.
Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template. — SamX [talk · contribs] 14:37, 5 August 2023 (UTC)

Hello, Biharpro7252,
I didn't make an "undiscussed page move". I moved this article to Draft space as the outcome of an AFD deletion decision which I closed. Doing this was to allow editors the opportunity to work on improving this article. But now that you insist on this article being in main space, I will not make that mistake again. I think you can expect a full deletion of this article because you could not accept working on this article in Draft space. Bad move on your part. Liz Read! Talk! 01:22, 20 August 2023 (UTC)

Blocked
[edit]You redirected Draft:Anga (region) to Anga (region) with the edit summary "Revert undiscussed move". Undiscussed..? The AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Anga (region), in which I can see you yourself took part, was closed as Draftify, with a comment by the closing admin Liz that "Content creators please be aware that if you move this back to main space, we'll likely have a quick return visit to AFD which might have a less gentle closure". You had created the article yourself, and your redirecting it back to mainspace with the specious argument that Liz's move was undiscussed, was obviously in bad faith. You have been blocked for 48 hours for disruptive editing. You can request unblock from an uninvolved administrator by placing {{unblock|your reason here}} on this page. Liz, I considered speedying the draft/article, but since there's already a second AfD and you are talking to Biharpro7252, I'll leave its fate to you. If you disapprove of my block, please let me know. Bishonen | tålk 18:41, 20 August 2023 (UTC).
- Thanks, Bishonen. Biharpro7252, this is a brief block that I believe is meant to get your attention that you need to start changing your behavior. If, after the block, you return to the same stubborn editing style, insisting that your way is the only way, then you can expect to be blocked indefinitely. This project is a collaborative editing project which means that sometimes, we don't get our way or we have to alter our approach. Decisions are made by consensus. I moved the article to Draft space even though a good number of editors wanted it to be deleted because I thought you could work on it there. I know that this didn't please you but those editors who wanted the article deleted also didn't get what they wanted.
- I hope when this block is over, you can return and contribute to articles on other subjects since the article you have focused on is now back for a 2nd AFD. I won't close this discussion but I don't think you can expect a second chance at draftification so it would help if you broadened your interested and found other articles that you could help improve. Consider this brief block an opportunity for a chance to start over on Wikipedia with a clean slate and to work more cooperatively with other editors, even ones you disagree with. Remember, if editors quit working here whenever they found themselves in a dispute with another editor, we'd have no one contributing to the project! As an adult, you have to find ways to work with those who you disagree with or you won't be an editor here for much longer. Good luck. Liz Read! Talk! 19:49, 20 August 2023 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Angika cuisine
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Angika cuisine requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from https://www.outlookindia.com/art-and-museums/each-dish-is-a-story-in-itself-news-290954. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.
