Replaceable fair use File:JoJo Offerman.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:JoJo Offerman.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:
- Go to the file description page and add the text
{{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}}
below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing<your reason>
with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable. - On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.
Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Fut.Perf. ☼ 07:46, 17 September 2013 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:Jo JO Offerman.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Jo JO Offerman.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Orphaned non-free media (File:JoJo Offerman.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:JoJo Offerman.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 15:55, 17 September 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Please stop adding week-to-week updates to this article. The sources you've included don't even mention her.LM2000 (talk) 06:00, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
- You should also probably stop uploading photos that are blatant copyright infringement.LM2000 (talk) 19:32, 19 September 2013 (UTC)
- Just because you created an article doesn't mean you own it. It's a wikipedia policy that information added needs to be verifiable and because it isn't I am going to remove it. I'm apparently not the only one who takes issue with your edits as your talk page was filled with image warnings that you've continued to ignore before I even got here. I know you've also put unverifiable information back into her personal life section that was removed by someone else as well. I'm just trying to warn you here, but if you continue to just ignore guidelines there's a pretty good chance that you'll get banned. Try reading some of the warnings that have been posted on this page.LM2000 (talk) 18:00, 20 September 2013 (UTC)
- Just because it's true doesn't mean it's verifiable and just because it's verifiable doesn't necessarily mean it's encyclopedic. You'll find very few articles that chronicle every appearance a personality ever made on a wrestling show. There's a reason for that. You will have a hard time convincing anybody that going on about Stephanie McMahon booking a fatal-four-way, that doesn't even involve Jo Jo, is relevant to her article just because she was standing in the background while a match on Raw happened which lead to the PPV match. You see what I mean? Even if I stop removing the stuff you readd someone else is going to take issue with it sooner or later when you fluff articles up like this with irrelevant and non-notable mentions which clutter the page and make it a tougher read. I don't mean to scare you away from editing, you've often been quite constructive in many aspects.

- If you feel the need to include mentions of her accompanying people to the ring or being a ring announcer try summing it up in a sentence rather than individually detailing every bit... look at Eva Marie's article and how it doesn't mention every time she appeared with The Bellas, that's all boiled down to one sentence:"Following this match, Marie would begin accompanying Brie to her matches."LM2000 (talk) 01:26, 21 September 2013 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Elizabeth Mendez
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Elizabeth Mendez, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. (See section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.
- It appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), individual animal, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. (See section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
[edit]Two things. First, Diva search 2013 doesn't exist. Source never says about a contest. Source says about 10 women training an NXT, LIKE a diva Search. No more results about a Diva Search in 2013. 2, the photo has copyright. Did you ask WWE to use it? --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 17:10, 7 November 2013 (UTC)
- 1, WWE Diva Search ended year ago. An 2013 edition never existed. 2, I don't know how to work with copyright photos, that's why I asked Nici. --HHH Pedrigree (talk) 15:00, 10 November 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:
- Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment; or
- With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button ( or ) located above the edit window.
This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Re: JoJo image
[edit]Yes, the law allows for its use on wikipedia, however wikipedia policy does not. This is a free encyclopedia, and insofar as possible we attempt to use free content. There are a small number of select circumstances where a fair-use image is used, however an image of a living person, for whom an expectation of obtaining a free image is high does not qualify. I strongly suggest you refrain from making any further uploads until you have read, understood, and intend to comply with our fair-use criteria. I would advise you to pay particular attention to WP:NFC#UUI point one, which is what you are repeatedly violating. Also, please remember to sign your talk pages comments using four ~ (i.e. type ~~~~ at the end of your comments). Thanks, NiciVampireHeart 12:15, 9 November 2013 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:WWE Divas Eva Marie and JoJo.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:WWE Divas Eva Marie and JoJo.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.
If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 15:39, 12 November 2013 (UTC)

Request reason:
I am so sorry for violating wikipedia's rules regarding photos. In all honesty, I had the best of intentions and never purposly intended to defy wikipedia's policy. I do admit that this was my first time ever being involved in wikipedia and I was at first a little confused on the rules of uploading images but continued attempting to upload images under different rules trying to see which one would work and not break wikipedia's policy. This is a mistake that I have genuinely learned from and promise that I will NEVER EVER do it again. I have been warned multiple times about uploading images, this I am aware, and there is no excuse for my repetitive offenses but please I am asking for ONE more chance. I have created two pages on wikipedia, Jo Jo Offerman & The Victor Twins, which are doing good and I honestly ask that I'll be granted another chance. This is a repetitive mistake that I promise that I have learned from & I definitely will not be doing it again.BGCTwinsEdit (talk) 15:44, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Well, maybe since you did it so much, we should hold off on unblocking until you explain (you can use the space underneath here instead of making another request) what exactly it was that was wrong about your uploads, and how you might have done things right. Sorry alone just don't cut it, as I said to my son more times than either of us can count. Apologizing and having it accepted means you understand what you did wrong well enough to not do it again. — Daniel Case (talk) 02:55, 26 November 2013 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
Okay Daniel Case (talk). One of the biggest reasons of my repetitive actions was that I didn't fully understand/read all of the policies that go along with uploading images. To be honest, I had no idea what a copyright even was. However, me continually breaking the rules is inexcusable. I promise to FULLY read & understand the wikipedia policies this time and to try my very hardest to never violate them again. I was basically uploading images "blindly" which was obviously not the smart thing to do. From this point on out, I will ask for help if I need it.--BGCTwinsEdit (talk) 15:33, 2 December 2013 (UTC)
