Wikipedia and copyright

Hello Avidohioan, and welcome to Wikipedia. All or some of your addition(s) to Joe Helle have been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material without evidence of permission from the copyright holder. Thanks for uploading File:Bill Johnson of Kentucky.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to 2019 San Antonio mayoral election, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. The image used was absolutely within guidelines. I have been editing for years and know my copyright uses well. You are way off base to call the image invalid because you think it is. I guarantee you if there was an issue with the image it would have been flagged quickly. Please don’t go making assumptions about things you have no idea about. Also, the italics format for endorsements has been done that way before so leave that alone too. SanAnMan (talk) 23:10, 5 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
