Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Western Distributor infobox
[edit]Thanks for creating the infobox on the Western Distributor article. The image is mine, but is probably not the best one for the infobox. At the moment I can't think of anything better that would illustrate the project, however -- perhaps once the route has been finalised, particularly its link with the West Gate Freeway, something better may become apparent. Malcolm Turnbull's photo
[edit]Hello Anonymous427, I agree with you that the 2015 photo should be used in the Malcolm Turnbull article. But changing it three times in one day is what is called edit warring, and is a sure way to end up getting your account blocked. So I suggest you participate in the discussion at Talk:Malcolm Turnbull#Which photo from these two?. Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, AtHomeIn神戸 (talk) 06:07, 9 August 2016 (UTC)
September 2016
[edit]Your recent editing history at Australian federal election, 2016 shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. —MelbourneStar☆talk 08:57, 13 September 2016 (UTC)
- Please stop edit warring. Discuss your disputed edits on the talk page (here). Thanks, —MelbourneStar☆talk 09:47, 13 September 2016 (UTC)

[edit]Hello. Warning
[edit]Anonymous427, you were given a warning yesterday about edit-warring, and also about WP:3RR; yet you chose to ignore those warnings, and proceeded to perform more reverts. This was a very clear violation of WP:3RR. I am choosing not to block you at the moment because in my judgement that would be a punitive block. Nonetheless, if I see any further evidence of edit-warring or disruptive evidence from you, it will be met with a block, even if it does not involve a violation of WP:3RR. You need to stop making small tweaks in the infobox against consensus, and instead discuss your edits on the talk page. Vanamonde (talk) 13:33, 14 September 2016 (UTC)
Key policies in Turnbull's sidebar template

How consensus works
[edit]You need to gain a new consensus if there is a dispute to change away from the status quo. When disputed, the status quo remains until such a new consensus is formed. Therefore, the current (status quo) Turnbull image stays until such time. Timeshift (talk) 07:02, 5 September 2017 (UTC)

Unsourced
[edit]Hi. I noticed that you made one or more changes to the article Australian House of Representatives, but you didn't provide a reliable source. Per WP:UNSOURCED, "All content must be verifiable. The burden to demonstrate verifiability lies with the editor who adds or restores material, and is satisfied by providing a citation to a reliable source that directly supports the contribution". In addition, the data in the infobox shouldn't contradict the data in the body of the article, as it is apparently happening. Thanks! Thinker78 (talk) 01:18, 10 May 2018 (UTC)
Photo of Gladys Berejiklian
[edit]Gladys is smiling? The photo I put up was recent, public domain, fairly high resolution and contained ONLY Berejiklian. The one you reverted back to must be at least ten years old, is definitely not high-res and is a crop of a group of four. TheBustopher (talk) 11:44, 1 November 2018 (UTC)
- Okay, anonymous, hopefully THIS one will be more to your liking, as she wistfully grins My main problem with the one contained within the article is it is VERY old and is a group shot, not of just the one individual. It's also public domain. TheBustopher (talk) 12:59, 1 November 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Morrison Ministry a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Jalen D. Bushfire Relief Cricket Match moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Bushfire Relief Cricket Match, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. buidhe 02:09, 7 February 2020 (UTC)

Copyright violation
[edit]Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Derek Sloan article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.
You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.
If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement: "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribute Share-Alike".
You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question at the Help Desk. You can also leave a message on my talk page. --Yamla (talk) 09:59, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Your draft article, Draft:Bushfire Relief Cricket Match
[edit]Hello, Anonymous427. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Bushfire Relief Cricket Match".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply and remove the {{db-afc}}
, {{db-draft}}
, or {{db-g13}}
code.
If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.
Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 17:15, 7 August 2020 (UTC)

[edit]You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on General Achievement Test; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.
Points to note:
- Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. This has already been discussed on the talk page, which you would have known had you bothered to read the edit summaries or the talk page. Your fake edit summary didn't help. Meters (talk) 23:52, 10 October 2020 (UTC)
You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at General Achievement Test. We have discussed it on the talk page. - And do not call such an edit minor. See WP:MINOR. A major content change such as that is not minor, and neither is a clearly contentious revert. Meters (talk) 23:50, 12 October 2020 (UTC)
Can you please consistently use Edit summaries every time you make a change to an article. It's makes it so much easier for other editors if they can see what you aim was in making an edit without having to trawl through your changes and guess. HiLo48 (talk) 21:06, 16 October 2020 (UTC)

cut and paste move
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give State Counsellor of Myanmar a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into State Leader of Myanmar.
Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of State Leader of Myanmar
[edit]Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at State Leader of Myanmar. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Regards, Jeromi Mikhael 02:39, 3 February 2021 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Anonymous427! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you.

Date headings at COVID-19 pandemic in Australia
[edit]Anonymous427,
Do you realise that edits like this may not be a good idea, as then there are now multiple sections called "2020" (six of) and "2021" (five of) on this page?
It seems the editing software cannot tell them apart. If someone edits the third "2020' on the page, then tries to go back there by clicking on the 'section link' in their contributions list, they will not be linked to the right section?
Regards, 220 of ßorg 04:45, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
- Yes it does what I expected, as above,
I just did a 'null' test edit at "2020" under the "Northern Territory" heading.
When I clicked on the 'section heading' at "(→2020: test edit @ in NT)" in my contributions, it took me to the first "2020" heading which is under "New South Wales", not the one I actually edited.
