Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Colombina, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 21:14, 24 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Colombina

[edit]

Hello, Anfecaro. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Colombina".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Boomer VialHolla! We gonna ball! 21:03, 25 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hi Anfecaro! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Thank you. DoctorMatt (talk) 04:26, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! DoctorMatt (talk) 04:27, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Central de Efectivo

[edit]

Hello, Anfecaro. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or draft page you started, "Central de Efectivo".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 22:04, 1 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Anfecaro, I took a quick look at this "deleted" draft. ("Deleted" drafts aren't actually deleted; they're just made mostly-invisible.) It looks promising. Are you really happy for it to stay deleted? I'd be happy to "undelete" (restore) it if you wanted it restored. The odd aspect of this draft is that half of it is about banknotes (with no mention of coins) and half is about coins (with no mention of banknotes). I'd expect a simple statement in the lead mentioning both. My guess is that Central de Efectivo deals with both; if it does (or indeed if it does not), only a little work would be needed to make this clear. -- Hoary (talk) 07:47, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:At Grenelle, Absinthe Drinker has a new comment

[edit]
I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:At Grenelle, Absinthe Drinker. Thanks! Hoary (talk) 23:05, 16 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think this may be the first article on a singular art work and makes sense that you state that you have not investigated the subject. Please feel free to reference any other articles so you may understand that this is a well developed article compared to its peers. Anfecaro (talk) 00:02, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What I said was that I hadn't investigated whether there are indeed articles -- by which I meant academic and similar articles, not Wikipedia articles -- devoted to solitary-drinker portraits. There certainly do exist Wikipedia articles devoted to particular paintings by Toulouse-Lautrec. At least some of these articles are well done: as an example, The Hangover (Suzanne Valadon) -- which of course is far more ambitious than a draft needs to be for acceptance as an article -- is of course thematically related, and might give you some ideas. (Of course, you mustn't cite it. But you're free to explore the sources that it cites.) It's true that I haven't investigated either this painting or Toulouse-Lautrec's work in general. (Should I do so?) Incidentally, the draft about a single painting that I dealt with most recently was Draft:Kościuszko at Racławice (which had been abandoned by its creator): Piotrus and I improved it and Asilvering promoted it. I hope that its creator (Lenaaa0) returns, and of course I hope that you continue to work on At Grenelle, Absinthe Drinker. (I made minor improvements to this myself, so you can infer that I thought it was worthwhile.) -- Hoary (talk) 01:03, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting perspective. I will not add more to the article so you can request a speedy deletion. Thank you for the input. Anfecaro (talk) 04:04, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Deletion would be rather a waste. As far as the article goes, it's good. If you don't want to work on it further, that's a pity; but whether you do or don't, other editors are welcome to do so, and I hope that they do. -- Hoary (talk) 07:39, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I'll see what I can do to add more to it, the goal is always to contribute more. Thank you again for the input. Anfecaro (talk) 13:53, 17 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
What do you mean: abandoned? Lenaaa0 (talk) 10:34, 20 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Great job on At Grenelle, Absinthe Drinker. I would love to add and discuss this in The Hangover if possible. If you have a moment to take a look at The Hangover and offer any criticism on the talk page for improvement (or fix anything you see as problematic), that would be much appreciated. Thank you! This was literally a copy/paste from the wikipedia article in Spanish, I deny that there were violations of copy right unless the Spanish article is highly affected. Anfecaro (talk) 02:41, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I did check the Spanish article, and it did not match the content you added. — Diannaa (talk) 12:15, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are you sure you checked the correct article? Of course it needed to have a some small divergences Anfecaro (talk) 14:49, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The one I checked was es:Museo Nacional de Colombia. I can't find any content there that matches the material I had to remove. But it matches content at this webpage according to the two CopyPatrol reports. — Diannaa (talk) 20:32, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The two CopyPatrol reports are here and here. I had to check the iThenticate reports to verify, as the source document itself is inaccessible to me. If you wish to view the iThenticate reports yourself, go to either one pof the two copyPatrol reports. Go to the upper right cornet and click on "Log in". You will be taken to OAuth at Meta and asked if it's okay for CopyPatrol to have access.
Next, click on the link to the iThenticate report, so that you can see what was found by the detection service. I think it is at this point you are asked to agree to the terms of use of the Turnitin people, who have kindly donated the use of this tool to Wikipedia. The overlapping content will be highlighted (the iThenticate report may take a while to load). Do this for each of the two reports at CopyPatrol and you will be able to view the overlapping content that I had to remove. — Diannaa (talk) 21:13, 23 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
