Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Pharmaceutical association of Mauritius, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an acceptable page. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item G11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this page is not blatant advertising, . Clicking that button will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. You are welcome to edit the page to fix this problem, but please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. As well as removing promotional phrasing, it helps to add factual encyclopaedic information to the page, and add citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the page will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this.Scarlettail (talk) 16:16, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pharmaceutical Association Of Mauritius requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Anupmehra -Let's talk! 19:08, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Pharmaceutical Association of Maurtius

[edit]

Hi Alshera, I has come to my attention at least part of the reason why Wikipedia:Articles for creation/Pharmaceutical Association of Mauritius - P.A.M was declined at AFC before. Much of the article is copied from the website. These parts must be either put in quotations or entirely re-written because of Wikipedia's no-copyrightvio policy. ~ Anastasia (talk) 17:15, 24 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I have finished copyediting your article submission in my sandbox. I removed some sources which did not support the text and/or were considered unreliable. If you could find a few sources for the "citation needed" spots, you should be good to go. However, my fixing up this article does not guarantee its acceptance to WP:AFC, it may be declined per WP:N or WP:RS. ~ Anastasia (talk) 21:53, 27 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Wow! A nice birthday gift, editing my article on my birthday(27.04.14), thank you so much, Anastasia. I have included sources in places you specified. I would like to know if I shall resubmit my draft directly from your sandbox, or shall I paste it back to my own, because in the meantime the draft found on my talk has been moved to another place by someone else, and I feel a bit lost now, - (13:30, 26 April 2014 RHaworth (talk | contribs) moved page Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pharmaceutical Association of Mauritius - P.A.M to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pharmaceutical Association of Mauritius without leaving a redirect (revert) )Alshera (talk) 12:25, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I believe you can just copy the article in my sandbox to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pharmaceutical Association of Mauritius and everything will be fine. User:RHaworth moved the page just because page title should generally not include abbreviations. Moving pages is can mix things up a bit, though.
The 2 sources you added to the "no citation" spots in the article did not support the text. What I mean is, when you add a source to a sentence like:
  • 'PAM works in close collaboration with the Pharmacy Board of the Mauritius Ministry Of Health and Quality of Life on different matters, such as The National Pharmacovigilence and the 2008 survey on "Measuring medicine prices, availability, affordability and price components"'
you don't want a citation citing the link to the 2008 survey or the The National Pharmacovigilence website, you want a source which proves that PAM worked in close collaboration with MMoH and QoL on these things. Similarly, under "Affiliations"
  • The Fédération Pharmaceutique de l'Océan Indien (FPOI)
you don't want a citation which links to the Fédération's website, you want it linking to a source which proves/says that PAM is a member of the Fédération. Is that confusing? Sorry to cause any frustration. ~ Anastasia (talk) 20:09, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you again for your support, I have pasted the article from your sandbox to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Pharmaceutical Association of Mauritius as you suggested, but, unfortunately, I could not find any sources to the "no citation" spots, on the net, I have , therefore, deleted these parts. Thank you so much for your help, Anastasia!Alshera (talk) 13:54, 29 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
