Rubber stamping GAs
Hi there, I noticed that you have recently did a GA review of 79th Street station (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line), but passed the article as meeting all the GA criteria without any evidence of a review being done. If the article is already fully compliant with the GA criteria, justification will be needed as to why the article is compliant, usually done in a section by section breakdown. However, in most cases, there will be issues with the article, and a review of these issues should be provided on the review page for the nominator to fix during the hold period, after which if the issues are resolved the article will pass. An absence of a review is often seen as rubber stamping the GA and the review will normally be undone. I advise you to document a review of the article on the review page and raise any issues in the article if you find any. In the meanwhile you may want to leave the nominator a message that you will be reviewing the article again. If you need reference you can look at other completed GA reviews and also look at other similar GAs to use as a benchmark. 116th Street–Columbia University station is an article of a station on the same line that is already a GA and Cathedral Parkway–110th Street station (IRT Broadway–Seventh Avenue Line) is an article that is currently under review (by me). As I normally say if you don't find something wrong during a review something is wrong. If you have any further queries please so leave me a message on my talk page or ping me. Thanks Pentagon 2057 (T/C) 11:14, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- Pentagon 2057, thanks. I thought that I addressed the issues, and the issues has fixed. I also think that I said why I accepted it as a GA. Ahmetlii (talk) 11:18, 30 January 2021 (UTC)
- @Ahmetlii: Ticking the GA checklist is not considered a review, in addition to that i see in an edit you made you added a citation needed tag, which contradicts your assessment that the article is well referenced. The article in this case should have been put on hold to allow the nominator to fix these issues. To allow for the nominator to fix these easily usually a list of issues that need to be resolved will be compiled on the review page along with discussions about these issues. Moronga
Hello Ahmetlii! I saw you left me a message about my edit on the Moronga page. I'm not sure if this is the way to send messages - I'm rather new to the Wikipedia format. What happened is I wanted to add Argentina as another country that had Moronga in our cuisine, but after further reading I realized Moronga and Morcilla (What we eat) are different things, so I deleted my edit. I don't know if my "Argentina" entry was restored, but I'm not sure it's accurate. Anyways, thanks for the message!

Election of 1847
My edit to that document was correct, there were 2 independent democrats in that election, which is where the 2 comes from, but Amos Tuck was also an independent in this election, and he was not an independent democrat. My source is the wikipedia page for the 30th US congress.
- okay, thanks.Ahmetlii (talk) 19:06, 10 February 2021 (UTC)

Message from Vassar84
Hey Ahmetlii,
Thank for you message, and help. Could you please proofread my article about Headroom Studios? I understand the inherent conflict of interest, but Headroom Studios has been mentioned in other Wikipedia articles, and I thought it should have its own page. I feel that I have been as neutral and fact based as possible, but I am open to any other edits. Thank you!

Why?
Why do you want to delete Hezhar Saleh article? All the claims have solid sources and he is a very famous singer Please delete it instead Correct it Thanks Aliasghar ghorbandokht (talk) 19:26, 18 February 2021 (UTC)
- Aliasghar ghorbandokht, first of all, you moved it from Draft page, which is not true per draft guidelines. Second, it's written like an advertisement with insufficient sources, which doesn't prove notability. And Wikipedia doesn't care being famous, Wikipedia cares the notability.Ahmetlii (talk) 20:15, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

Professor Albert Adeoye Ilemobade
Hi, along with my cousin Prof Sola Ilemobade, we want to edit the entire profile of Professor Albert Adeoye Ilemobade. I have not made a mistake in editing the page. WikiCup 2021 March newsletter
Round 1 of the competition has finished; it was a high-scoring round with 21 contestants scoring more than 100 points. Everyone with a positive score moves on to Round 2, with 55 contestants qualifying. You will need to finish among the top thirty-two contestants in Round 2 if you are to qualify for Round 3. Our top scorers in Round 1 were:
- Epicgenius led the field with a featured article, nine good articles and an assortment of other submissions, specialising on buildings and locations in New York, for a total of 945 points.
- Bloom6132 was close behind with 896 points, largely gained from 71 "In the news" items, mostly recent deaths.
- ImaginesTigers, who has been editing Wikipedia for less than a year, was in third place with 711 points, much helped by bringing League of Legends to featured article status, exemplifying how bonus points can boost a contestant's score.
- Amakuru came next with 708 points, Kigali being another featured article that scored maximum bonus points.
- Ktin, new to the WikiCup, was in fifth place with 523 points, garnered from 15 DYKs and 34 "In the news" items.
- The Rambling Man scored 511 points, many from featured article candidate reviews and from football related DYKs.
- Gog the Mild, last year's runner-up, came next with 498 points, from a featured article and numerous featured article candidate reviews.
- Hog Farm, at 452, scored for a featured article, four good articles and a number of reviews.
- Le Panini, another newcomer to the WikiCup, scored 438 for a featured article and three good articles.
- Lee Vilenski, last year's champion, scored 332 points, from a featured article and various other sport-related topics.
These contestants, like all the others, now have to start again from scratch. In Round 1, contestants achieved eight featured articles, three featured lists and one featured picture, as well as around two hundred DYKs and twenty-seven ITNs. They completed 97 good article reviews, nearly double the 52 good articles they claimed. Contestants also claimed for 135 featured article and featured list candidate reviews. There is no longer a requirement to mention your WikiCup participation when undertaking these reviews.
Remember that any content promoted after the end of Round 1 but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is a good article candidate, a featured process, or something else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews.
If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Thrash Metal
Hello Ahmetlii, I just wanted to let you know that unless you've actually HEARD the track 15 minutes of fame, you best think before reverting it on the article because it does fit the genre of thrash metal and i even put a link to it because the person who made the song defo should get more internet airplay --2A02:C7F:901F:2A00:A9FE:BCDF:428D:329C (talk) 16:08, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
- The link is not necessary though. If we linked to it, we'd have to link to all thrash metal songs, and opinion of what is "finest" is subjective. Therefore, I reverted your edit. Steve M (talk) 16:18, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
The link is necessary because you obviously can't take a hint about TheStrober's utter thrashtastic brilliance --2A02:C7F:901F:2A00:A9FE:BCDF:428D:329C (talk) 16:24, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

Rollback granted
Hi Ahmetlii. After reviewing your request, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
- Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
- Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
- Rollback should never be used to edit war.
- If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
- Use common sense.
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! ~ ToBeFree (talk) 13:32, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

Why the article about "Allan Wexler" was deleted?
Hi,
My article "Allan Wexler" was deleted for being promotional. I am new to Wikipedia and after reading the talk page, I am still not clear why it is deleted. Please note that I am not hired or paid for writing this article. Allan Wexler is well-known artist and I provided many resources to prove it. Please help me to understand why my article was deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Delightful void (talk • contribs) 20:18, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
- @Delightful void Hello,
first of all, you've used one primary source which is written by the person and it only includes two citations which seems it isn't verifiable and doesn't prove notability. Therefore, I thought that the page was just for advertisement because it seemed as that since it includes uncited texts and near to none citations. It also qualified WP:A7 for deletion though, but looks like I've forgotten to also tag as that when tagging. Ahmetlii (talk) 20:27, 17 March 2021 (UTC)
Hi Ahmetlii,
As far as I can see, this article has been altered to include incorrect dates - "Born 10 October 1980", "National Sports Award (2020)" and so on - which may make it appear a CSD A7 candidate. Thank you for the corrections!

Speedy deletion declined: Samanea Jakarta
Hello Ahmetlii. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Samanea Jakarta, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There's no reason to delete from mainspace if there's a draft. The draft is unneeded, not the mainspace article. Thank you. GedUK 16:05, 22 March 2021 (UTC)
