Your draft article, Draft:Muhammad Mukhtar

Pakistan Council for Science and Technology moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Pakistan Council for Science and Technology, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Time to disclose paid works, like Dingtone, etc.
Hello Ahatd. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.
Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.
Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Ahatd. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Ahatd|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}
. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. 86.24.42.66 (talk) 16:09, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
- 86.24.42.66, thanks for heavy lifting mate. You caught a really big fish! I'm being paid to edit all pages I edit, lol. Just recently got hired by WP:WiR to create biographies of women. Idk how to disclose COI, Why don't you come over with your original account and guide me to do so... I'll be very thankful for such a kind act. Till then I'll be continuing my paid work, with my current employer WP:WPWIR. Your thankful, Ahated (talk!) 18:25, 6 August 2022 (UTC)
Hello, Ahatd,
Please do not give instructions to an inexperienced editor on speedy deleting a main space redirect to replace it with a declined Draft article. The draft is in no shape to be moved to main space and I blocked the editor from this page for a few days. You probably should have checked out the Draft article before recommending it be moved to main space. Thanks. Liz Read! Talk! 06:45, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Liz, I accept I never checked the draft, which is my bad. But I never recommended them to move declined draft to the mainspace, but shown them the right way to do so. I saw them struggling to understand cut/paste moves and right way to move the page, and edit warring another editor, so I told them how they can do (what they intended to do) in right way. Thanks. Ahated (talk!) 07:06, 11 August 2022 (UTC)

An article you recently created, Kiran Naz, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Ahated (talk!) 13:28, 14 August 2022 (UTC)
- It's alright. Your article is not removed just because it is moved to the draft. On the draft page, you can expand your article before submitting it. DIVINE (talk) 13:34, 14 August 2022 (UTC)

Block discussions
Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:
- Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
- State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
- Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

Request reason:
@GeneralNotability Idk if you are aware of sarcasm or not. But I'll like to let you know that Women in Red is WikiProject here on Wikipedia, active to create women biographies to lessen systematic bias against women. And you know what, it's quite funny to assume that a WikiProject is paying contributors to create biographies. And I'll ask you to relook this reply, this isn't in any way a self admit. :Secondly, I'll add that I do have conflict of interest (in very strict terms) with a few topics, like Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (I'm anti-PTI guy, who most likely have bias against them, that's why I try to refrain from editing PTI related pages), being fan of social media celebs I often tend to write about them (even someone went on to report me on the Admins' notice board, and opened SPI against me) but to note, I've known none of them in person or had any contact with them, except two — Eva zu Beck and Büşra Duran Gündüz, both (Eva and Büşra's representative) I met while they're touring my city Abbottabad. And it was nothing more than a few minutes chat, and I never had any contact with them afterwards. And this wasn't that much significant that I needed to express it on the Wikipedia. Still, It's quite evident from both pages, I've been very careful while creating both pages, kept everything very factual and less opinionated. :I've never received nor will receive any form financial compensation for the editing. I've never breached and violated WMF term of use. And please reconsider and re-look this reply, and the block. Thanks. :Ahated (talk!) 05:52, 16 August 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
Per below. — Daniel Case (talk) 06:27, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
- Don't worry, there's more to the block than your failed attempt at sarcasm. I've also got a job ad for the creation of Büşra Duran Gündüz, which went up a little before you created that article, so I think there's a little more here than "just happened to meet them". GeneralNotability (talk) 01:16, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
- GeneralNotability, I hope that your "a little before" is not only earlier than April 19th, 2022 (when I first created/started this draft), but also earlier than 14th April (when I became autoconfirmed on tr wikipedia, after only editing her page there). BTW I can also create advert, asking someone to block User:Ahatd on Wikipedia (obviously, will have dates, "a little before" of this block), will that be deemed enough evidence (let's just leave credibility aside; as you did) to block you or strip off your admin rights?
- Secondly, if I'm not wrong, you just accepted that my reply to that anon (not sure if it was you or someone else idk) static IP was sarcastic, not a self admit? So was it right to use that as a blocking reason? ("Undisclosed paid editing in violation of the WMF Terms of Use - self-admitted.....)
- Lastly, can I be given permission to edit this page, the way I can edit this talk page? Thanks. Ahated (talk!) 21:07, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
- User:Daniel Case, But per below has changed since then??? Ahated (talk!) 21:16, 17 August 2022 (UTC)
- I would put it in a new unblock request. Daniel Case (talk) 01:52, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Daniel Case actually I was bit frustrated at that moment. Now I realized that my comment was unnecessary. Sorry if I bothered you. Thanks. Ahated (talk!) 20:14, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
- Not a problem. (But, per custom, another admin will have to review your new request). Daniel Case (talk) 22:00, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
- Thanks :-) Ahated (talk!) 10:39, 19 August 2022 (UTC)
- @GeneralNotability, I don't think @Ahatd self-admitted in any way that they are being paid by someone. The article that you are mentioning above came into my attention long ago and I had reported it on our Global Anti-Spam Dashboard and it was deleted from everywhere. It was first deleted on Wikidata and then restored according to Wikidata policies (when Ahatd brought forth a discussion on administrator's noticeboard). But these are completely different things. Nothing suggests that Ahatd is "self-admitting" the paid editing. You might want to change the block rationale as I don't know what is there in the VRT ticket. Just a note that I came here via this AfD. Best, ─ The Aafī (talk) 18:02, 20 August 2022 (UTC)

Request reason:
First of all, I never admitted that I'm being paid to edit. I was never supposed to give a serious reply to an anon (with a static IP, and only two edits), asking me to disclose my supposedly paid edits. Sarcasm is a thing in this world! So being blocked for this not justifiable. Secondly, the blocking admin mentioned in the above discussion that there's a job ad which went up a little before than I created the page (19th April). I believe their "little before" is no way earlier than 14th April (A big 5 days diff!!!), when I first became autoconfirmed on tr Wikipedia, after editing only her page. This makes that adv untrustworthy and this block unjustifiable. Thanks. Ahated (talk!) 20:10, 18 August 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I'll buy that the comment about being paid was sarcasm. What I won't buy is that there was no COI involved when you created Büşra Duran Gündüz on multiple wikis. I'm also curious about These three mswiki creations; I find it curious that you ostensibly speak Malay, Turkish, Urdu and English, but seem to limit your contributions in Malay and Turkish to the creation of promotional biographies of people whose notability is highly dubious at best. --Blablubbs (talk) 13:05, 21 August 2022 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
@Blablubbs, your whole argument is nothing but trying to give some reasoning to the GN's original block. Just be honest, and tell me if normally this rationale (suspected COI and your curiosity) be enough for you to block someone on Wikipedia? If no, then, is declining a unblock request coherent with that?
Ok now let's get to answers of new rationale you brought up:
- Suspected COI; That spam looking creation of Büşra Duran Gündüz on multiple versions (TR, MS, UR) was in retaliation (though it was wrong, I realized it later and stopped that spammy behavior) of a wrong speedy deletion on the TR Wikipedia page by Sabri76 (with a year long recreation protection even when page was only created once, and deletion of my userspace page as well). Knowingly that the page never deserved to be speedy deleted (which was also in fact with par with many related pages there on tr Wikipedia), along with deletion of my userspace page and recreation protection, It all looked personal to me, in anger I decided to create it on other language spaces (even created userspace page on English Wikipedia, but was not sure if it'll pass an AfD here). But it caught an eye of TheAafi & team and they in a coordinated efforts deleted these all pages and Wikidata item (which was later undeleted after being brought to AN attention). If page hadn't been deleted this way on tr wiki (speedy deletion, Recreation protection and userspace page deletion), I don't think I would've even tried to do all this mess. (*_*)
- Satisfaction? to Curiosity; Well, I believe you also know that every language space has it's own notability guidelines, and there is no generalized notability guidelines over all language versions. So, your statement, "....notability is highly dubious at best.", nothing but a useless waffle. I think if you would've bothered to look into my ur Wiki contributions, you must've been known to the fact that I started and limited my contributions on UR wiki to a page (OK, this time a organization), whose "notability will be highly dubious" for you at the best, and then slowly started to edit elsewhere.
- Further Clarification; To clarify things further – whenever I find anything interesting, I either create English Wikipedia page for it, if it doesn't qualify WP:N here, I look for other languages I know and publish about it on most relevant Wikipedia language version, and just in case if it doesn't qualify any known version's notability guidelines, I tend to publish it on Wikidata (most loose notability guidelines). It's not exact thing, but I tend to follow it.
- Languages I speak/understand/write; Apart from 4 mentioned above I also do speak and write Hindko, Punjabi and Pahari, speak and understand Pashtu (Hazarewal accent) and Hindi (also learning to write it), understand Farsi and Arabic to an extent, and learning mandarin as well.
- Thanks; Lastly, I'm thankful to you, unlike others, you at least tried to give a reason to this block.
Ahated (talk!) 10:46, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
- Having seen the ad, and evaluated surrounding factors that I have outlined above, it is my sincere belief that this is a good block (i.e. yes, one that I would likely make myself given the totality of the evidence). If I'm wrong, then I sincerely am sorry, but I am not willing to lift this block. You are welcome to make another unblock request, which will be evaluated by a different admin. --Blablubbs (talk) 12:10, 24 August 2022 (UTC)
- @Blablubbs, I still respect your opinion about the block, even when you avoided answering the questions I raised about the credibility of the ad and ignored my answers to your "evaluated surrounding factors". Coz it happens with all of us at some point, when we approach things with some certain view and mind, contradictory views and facts seem trivial and unnoticeable to us. As GN is not interested in answering my queries and you've also seen that ad, I'll ask you to answer my queries. Thanks. Ahated (talk!) 08:35, 25 August 2022 (UTC)
Ahatd/Archives (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
per above. I was initially blocked based on two rationales – 1.self admit and 2.some ad (possibly in that VRT ticket). Now blocking admin isn't interested in answering serious questions raised to the credibility of the ad (or better say, they silently agree that the ad is not credible). Wrongdeceptive? use of "self admit" in blocking rationale has already been discussed in above discussion and elsewhere (Blocking admin now also acceptsin disagreement with their last version that comment was just a sarcasm). But a fellow admin, having similar interests as of blocking admin, also have seen the ad (not sure if it was shared off-wiki possible meatpuppetry? or if this admin was also involved in blocking process at VRTinvolved? declined unblock request) still thinks this is a good block citing surrounding factors, which I've already addressed to. I'd like to request you to unblock me, asap. This might be easy from your end, to block, keep someone blocked, but this isn't that easy from the affected end. I enjoyed editing Wikipedia in these holidays as a hobby, tried my best to be a useful member for the project and the community, participated in many AfDs, improved articles, published abandoned drafts, begged for page patrol at IRC just to attract more potential editors for a country specific WikiProject (like for this and this), patrolled RC, translated many pages, messages and content, most importantly enjoyed publishing content related to underrepresented women (listed ~10 notable female journalists a day before this block, so can publish article about them) and much more. It's been 11 days, 3 unblock requests and many visits of this page, since I was blocked, now it's getting hard for me to keep my feelings in, and speak as rationale as I was speaking. I just want you to review this unblock request, keeping your personal bias aside, and take decision based on the facts. Thanks. Ahated (talk!) 11:37, 26 August 2022 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I don't find this explanation satisfactory. 331dot (talk) 07:16, 18 September 2022 (UTC)

What I'll do after getting unblocked
- Will try to find sources about these journalists and publish notable of them, into the mainspace.
- Will continue my efforts to save notable articles in AfDs (specially related to Women and Pakistan)
- Will try to learn more about templates, userboxes etc here in English Wikipedia (in my userspace) so I can help improve them on Urdu Wikipedia.
- I enjoyed RC patrolling using twinkle and RW, so will continue RC patrolling after getting unblocked. And will try to become Rollbacker and Recent Changes Reviewer.
- Will like to get back that greyish Urdu link in languages sidebar (for articles not existing in Urdu language), to easily and conveniently translate articles.
- Will not follow the blocking admin for at least 6 months, even in good faith.
- Will discuss this edit with User:Fazal Deen.
And many more thing to do. Ahated (talk!) 17:43, 3 September 2022 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Shahzad Iqbal
Hello, Ahatd,
Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Hughesdarren and I thank you for your contributions.
I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Shahzad Iqbal, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.
For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Hughesdarren}}
. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~
. Thanks!

Tania Aidrus moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Tania Aidrus, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 12:12, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
