Hi Adam. Just a note to let you know that I've declined your speedy deletion request on At-Talaq; the article has sufficient context to identify the subject, even though it doesn't say anything very meaningful about it. As such, A1 doesn't apply. Cheers, Yunshui 雲水 12:44, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

- Hi, I'm the co-creator of Wikipedia:Wikiproject Woking, along with Will.
I noticed what you put on Will's Talk Page. I totally agree with with what you said about Charles getting his own way, he has done it before. I don't see why he does it!!! Anyway, thanks for your support!;-):-)
Thanks, Pbl1998 (talk) 21:12, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yeah, your not wrong with Charles having something against buses! We were trying to improve the Woking article and we happened to use the knowledge of our local 'Bus Expert' (:-D) and Charles came along, deleted it and said it was irrelevant!!! I don't know...His life aim seems to be to try and annoy people! I have tried to be Civil with him, but he won't have it! Anyway, at least we're not the only people that get annoyed by him.Pbl1998 (talk) 21:42, 31 August 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, yep, yep! Especially if people just do it to annoy people on PURPOSE!!! He seems to take pleasure in it! Also, if you would be interested I invite you to join Wikipedia:Wikiproject Woking and Wikipedia:Wikiproject Surrey. Pbl1998 (talk) 21:51, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Morning!
I wish there is something to do. Perhaps we can look through the rules and find something, because I'm sure there must be something he is doing wrong. I will try to find something. Pbl1998 (talk) 10:47, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hahaha. We could try WP:Hound. I mean, he is hounding us so we could give it a shot. What do you think? Pbl1998 (talk) 10:57, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
- Okay. I just had a quick a look and it one part of hounding is when a user follows you from page to page, and I believe he has been doing that with your bus articles. Also, he seems intent on ruining our work and doesn't want to compromise. If you want evidence of this this look at Will's Talk Page and Wikiproject Woking's Talk Page. He deletes all good information of calling it 'Nonsense'. Like I said, he doesn't want to hear any compromises. And...When you look on Will's talk page, Charles seems to be rude about Will's Literature, which is, I believe, against the rules. I think that is rant over?!:-D Pbl1998 (talk) 11:08, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Coastliner 700. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Charles (talk) 09:22, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at User:Charlesdrakew, you may be blocked from editing. You admitted adding unsourced content to an article that is clearly on both Charles and my own Watchlist as we've both worked on improving it - It's neither hounding nor is it a reasonable excuse for you to Vandalise Charles' Userpage in retaliation. Message on my talk page.
Hi,
Thanks for you message yesterday and thank you for joining Wikiproject Woking. I have indeed have had problems with Charlesdrakew. I have noticed he was very rude. He did say to me that I did not Own articles which I already knew I did not as it is not part of Wikipedia's policy. To me the way he behaves seems to much more like HE thinks he OWNS articles. I have tried to kept the situation calm with him but he still kept reverting things.
Nice to have you on board! :D
Many Thanks-Willrocks10 (talk) 10:11, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
Thank you, for helping me! -Willrocks10 (talk) 10:14, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
Yep Charlesdrakew does look at peoples contributions and jumps on to a article they have edited and reverts it to give them a hard time. He has done it to me. Have a look at the revision history on this page- Wikipedia:WikiProject Surrey/Participants.
Thanks again-Willrocks10 (talk) 10:30, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Confusing edit summary
I'm confused by the edit summary you left here. Did you accidentally revert both edits when you only meant to revert this one, or are you actually re-inserting a quote from a blog posting? If the former then please kindly correct it; if the latter then I think we need to discuss this on the article talk page. -- Mrmatiko (talk) 19:46, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for September 4
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Blackburn Boulevard bus station, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Four Lane Ends (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The Tea Leaf - Issue Six
Hi! Welcome to the sixth edition of The Tea Leaf, the official newsletter of the Teahouse!
- Teahouse serves over 700 new editors in six months on Wikipedia! Since February 27, 741 new editors have participated at the Teahouse. The Q&A board and the guest intro pages are more active than ever.
- Automatic invites are doing the trick: 50% more new editors visiting each week. Ever since HostBot's automated invite trial phase began we've seen a boost in new editor participation. Automating a baseline set of invitations also allows Teahouse hosts to focus on serving hot cups of help to guests, instead of spending countless hours inviting.
- Guests to the Teahouse continue to edit more & interact more with other community members than non-Teahouse guests according to six month metrics. Teahouse guests make more than twice the article edits and edit more talk pages than other new editors.
- New host process implemented which encourages anyone to get started as a Teahouse host in a few easy steps. Stop by the hosts page and become a Teahouse host today!
- Host lounge renovations nearing completion. Working closely with Teahouse hosts, we've made some major renovations to the Teahouse Host Lounge - the main hangout and resource space for hosts. Learn more about the improvements here.
As always, thanks for supporting the Teahouse project! Stop by and visit us today!

Hi Again!
First off I want to give you this to say thanks for your help with WikiProject Woking:
Well Done | This user deserves the Woking Article Appreciation Award (Bronze). |
This gives you the rank of Good Editor. Although according to Charlesdrakew there is no such thing as ranks on WikiProject Woking. How is it going talking to the admins about him. Hope all goes well.

- Sure, no problem. As long as you changed the colours, as you did that's fine. There's some guy completely copying my sig. Adam Mugliston Talk 20:16, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- Careful Adam, when I helped to design your sig, I released it under cc-by-sa (as I do with all my edits). That means that anyone can use it for any purpose they decide, and it's not for you to dictate who can use it and how. This would be true if you had designed your sig completely on your own, though it would have been polite for them to ask your permission. There are many editors with similar signatures, yours should be the only one that says "Adam mugliston" and points to your pages, but that's the only unique points. citing web
Question...there are many times (in the creation of my article) that i need to cite the web. i can't often find the info needed to cite properly. Most recently...Addiction of Society Medicine website (http://www.asam.org/about-us/about-asam). I am referencing their definition on addiction. I am unable to locate the publisher, the title of the article (cause there really isn't one), first and last name of author (as this info is written by the society as a whole). Please advise. --AddictionPsychologistFrank (talk) 23:25, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
- Well, I'd put the title as About ASAM, the author as ASAM, as the publisher. Also, your adoption page is ready: User:Adam mugliston/Adopt/AddictionPsychologistFrank. Adam Mugliston Talk 06:18, 14 September 2012 (UTC)

Hi Adam mugliston. I'm leaving you this message because you have previously been involved as an adopter with Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. A clean-up of this program is currently underway, and as part of the process I am trying to find out who is and isn't still interested in remaining an adopter.
If you would prefer not to be part of the adoption program anymore, you need do nothing; when the overhaul of the project is completed your name will be removed from the list of active adopters. However, if you have current adoptees, an active adoption school or an interest in adopting in the near future, then please let us know by signing here.
If you want to remain in the project and can currently take on more adoptees, there is a serious backlog at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user; it would be enormously helpful if you could take on one or two of the users there. Please do keep an eye on the project for upcoming changes, we could use your opinions and your help! Yunshui 雲水 08:56, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Adoption userboxes
Hi Adam. First off, I'd like to say thank you for being so active in the Adopt-a-user project. I admire your school pages, and your dedication to helping your adoptees. At present, Worm and I are tring to do a spot of cleaning up on the project, and I've uncovered a small but easily fixed issue with your adoptions. Please could you ensure when you adopt a new user that you change the {{adopt me}}
template on their userpage to either {{Adopt offer|Adam mugliston}}
or {{Adoptee|Adam mugliston}}
, depending on whether you've offered adoption or actually taken them on as an adoptee? The reason for this is that if you leave the template as is, the user is still listed at Category:Wikipedians seeking to be adopted in Adopt-a-user, creating a backlog and meaning that other editors may assume they are still waiting to be adopted. I've changed those I've found, but if you could check through your adoptees and fix any that are still "pending" that would be a big help. Cheers, Yunshui 雲水 10:24, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
- Oh yes, sorry about that, I don't think about these things. Adam Mugliston Talk 15:05, 19 September 2012 (UTC)
Articles for Creation is desperately short of reviewers! We are looking for urgent help, from experienced editors, in reviewing submissions in the pending submissions queue. Currently there are 1268 submissions waiting to be reviewed and many help requests at our Help Desk.
If the answer to these questions is yes, then please read the reviewing instructions and donate a little of your time to helping tackle the backlog. You might wish to add {{AFC status}} or {{AfC Defcon}} to your userpage, which will alert you to the number of open submissions.

Questionable edits
Hi Adam (you recently adopted me), I don't think the edits by this user are very good and since there are multiple edits by the same user on the topic, I'm not sure how to revert them (should each one be reverted separately?) or the policy for reverting them. (Seems like one of the edits misquotes the reference.) Looking over the history of the topic, this same user was reverted before. What, if anything should be done here? Raquel_Baranow (talk) 18:28, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- If you're sure they're incorrect then yes, revert them, but make sure they are wrong. Adam Mugliston Talk 18:31, 26 September 2012 (UTC)
- Hi again Adam I've been signing my name after editing at the bottom of the edit box and it appears in the text, is that because the new editing-page, which took affect today does not require signing except on Talk Pages? Raquel_Baranow (talk) 14:42, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

I looked at the reference format guidelines and they said there is no particular format preference but they say to make them consistent in the article, so I think I should change my format to be consistent? Before editing the article I will propose it on the article's talk page. Raquel_Baranow (talk) 15:57, 1 October 2012 (UTC)

The Tea Leaf - Issue Seven
Hello again! We have some neat updates about the Teahouse:
- We’ve added badges! Teahouse awards is a pilot project to learn how acknowledgement impacts engagement and retention in Teahouse and Wikipedia.
- We’ve got a new WikiLove Badge script that makes giving badges quick and easy. Add it here. You can give out badges to thank helpful hosts, welcome guests, acknowledge great questions and more.
- Come join the experiment and let us know what you think!
- And...for all of your great work and all of the progress that you've helped the Teahouse make, we hereby award you the Host Badge:
Teahouse Host Badge | |
Awarded to hosts at the Wikipedia Teahouse. Experienced editors with this badge have committed to welcoming guests, helping new editors, and upholding the standards of the Teahouse by giving friendly and patient guidance—at least for a time. Hosts illuminate the path for new Wikipedians, like Tōrō in a Teahouse garden. |
