Recommending new editors to your WP Squash
Hi Abishe,
Our system generated a list of potential new editors for your project. They may be interested in collaborating with your project members on your project's articles. As you will notice, the list contains both experienced editors and newcomers. Both are valuable for Wikipedia and your project. Please go ahead and introduce your project to them, and point them to some project tasks to start with. We also provide a template invitation message to make it easier to contact the potential new editors. Just click the invite link to write the invitation message.
We'd appreciate it if you could fill the survey to let us know what you think about our recommendations so we can improve our system.

- Hi Abishe, I update the recommendation list sent to you earlier. I fixed some bugs in the previous version (as you might have seen that some editors on the previous list were not quite active). Very sorry about it, but now, everything should be good! Please take a look, and let me know what you think! Thank you! Bobo.03 (talk) 20:19, 19 February 2018 (UTC)
- Hi Abishe, it's great to know that you've recruited productive editors! It would be great if you'd have a chance to look at this new list, and fill the short survey to let me know what your thoughts. Thank you! I would also help invite some new members, but they are not the ones on this list. Bobo.03 (talk) 20:32, 1 March 2018 (UTC)

Tc159
It'd be great if this user came back: User_talk:Tc159#come_back! Dr. Vogel (talk) 16:00, 4 March 2018 (UTC)
@DrVogel: The particular user according to your suggestion has contributed to the WikiProject Squash immensely as he created few PSA World Tours by years and several squash biographies. The user last edited Wikipedia in 2017 and never came back to edit Wikipedia in 2018. Tc159 has about 6000+ career edits and this user previously called initially as Tc1591 until his lifetime block from Wikipedia in 2014. The user with the username, Tc1591 was accused of violating the copyrights when taking photographs from various websites. Probably, I reckon this would be the only reason for his hesitancy to edit Wikipedia daily. Abishe (talk) 15:55, 5 March 2018 (UTC)
- Perhaps he's really young and he finds it difficult to live with rules that annoy him, but if he can stick to them then it'd be a great guy to have on board. I've also left him a message on his French talk page. Dr. Vogel (talk) 17:34, 5 March 2018 (UTC)

Autopatrolled granted
Hi Abishe, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the "autopatrolled" permission to your account, as you have created numerous, valid articles. This feature will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to reduce the workload on new page patrollers. For more information on the autopatrolled right, see Wikipedia:Autopatrolled. Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! Please review the feedback on the application page. Schwede66 17:43, 16 March 2018 (UTC)

Request for review
Adamu Garba II Aghachi7 (talk) 06:32, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
@Aghachi7: I didn't understand the thing that you are willing to say from your question, What can I do to make the article??. But I have noticed you have created articles so far. To create an article, you should be able to prove the notability guidelines with additional reliable references. As you have created 8 articles, so you know how to create articles in a better way. Please read this, How to create an article. Abishe (talk) 08:30, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
What can I do to make the article. I'm asking for you guidance and advice.
Aghachi7 (talk) 08:07, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
I wanna be a great Wikipedia user that's why I have come to you, cos you are great, don't let me down
Kindly review again
Aghachi7 (talk) 08:24, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
There was a typographical error
Anyway
All I'm saying is you should show me the way to edit it in a way that it gets the nod. I haven't had my article turned down, please I don't want this to get turned down
Thank you for the review @Abishe

Reviewing changes to AIG
Hi Abishe, I proposed a couple of edits to the AIG article on the talk page here and here, but I've been unable to get any traction. I saw you're a member of WP:FINANCE. Do you have time to take a look? I'd greatly appreciate it.--FacultiesIntact (talk) 18:57, 22 March 2018 (UTC)
categories
I've noticed your work with the male/female categories. Pretty cool. Dr. Vogel (talk) 11:55, 28 March 2018 (UTC) @DrVogel: Yes, it is necessary to split the squash players as male and female by nationality and it is common to other sports as well. This states that our WikiProject Squash developing really well especially in a re-building process in recent times including your immense services. I think WikiProject Squash could become one of the most productive sport related WikiProjects in some time. Abishe (talk) 12:43, 28 March 2018 (UTC) We all have to do our bit to help get squash into the olympic games :) Dr. Vogel (talk) 12:45, 28 March 2018 (UTC)
@DrVogel: It's up to the officials and what can Wikipedians do to help in including this sport into Olympic programme. I noticed that squash was nominated for the 2020 Summer Olympics but was voted against the particular sport in favour of wrestling sport. Hope your dream comes true and I also will be excited if it is included in future Olympic event. Abishe (talk) 13:15, 28 March 2018 (UTC)

New Page Review Newsletter No.10
ACTRIAL:
- ACTRIAL's six month experiment restricting new page creation to (auto)confirmed users ended on 14 March. As expected, a greatly increased number of unsuitable articles and candidates for deletion are showing up in the feed again, and the backlog has since increased already by ~30%. Please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day.
Paid editing
- Now that ACTRIAL is inoperative pending discussion, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
- The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies. A further discussion is currently taking place at: Can a subject specific guideline invalidate the General Notability Guideline?
Nominate competent users for Autopatrolled
- While patrolling articles, if you find an editor that is particularly competent at creating quality new articles, and that user has created more than 25 articles (rather than stubs), consider nominating them for the 'Autopatrolled' user right HERE.
News
- The next issue Wikipedia's newspaper The Signpost has now been published after a long delay. There are some articles in it, including ACTRIAL wrap-up that will be of special interest to New Page Reviewers. Don't hesitate to contribute to the comments sections. The Signpost is one of the best ways to stay up date with news and new developments - please consider subscribing to it. Capitalisation of 'living' parameter in WP Bio
Hi,
I have noticed you have created some new talk pages that you include the WikiProject Biography. Unfortunately (on some) of these edits you are using Living= instead of living= and this does not count as a valid parameter. I guess this might be auto-capitalisation, but it might be worth checking you have the lowercase version before you finish editing the page.
Thank you for including the living parameter in your edits, as it helps to keep maintenance categories clear.
Thanks. Wpgbrown (talk) 10:34, 6 April 2018 (UTC)
@Wpgbrown: Oh! I am extremely sorry for that as I mistakenly added Living instead of typing it in small letters simply as living due to my carelessness. I will make sure that I won't make errors like these. I also thank you for reminding me about this. Thanks Abishe (talk) 11:03, 6 April 2018 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free image File:Hindu College Colombo Logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Hindu College Colombo Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. ShakespeareFan00 (talk) 13:43, 14 April 2018 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification for April 26
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2018 Tamil Nadu protests for Kaveri water sharing, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Simbu and Vishal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

IPL Rivalry pages
Hi. I see that you created Kolkata Knight Riders–Royal Challengers Bangalore rivalry. I created some pages for Sunrisers Hyderabad and currently maintaining Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018. Sunrisers doesn't have any rivalry pages and I don't know if you can consider head-to-head with any other IPL team with Sunrisers as rivalry. So, I am just curious on how do you decide if you want to create a rivalry page for an IPL team. Is there any project page where you keep such topics for discussion before creating any? Speedy deletion nomination of Sussanne Khan
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Sussanne Khan, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. GSS (talk|c|em) 14:16, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- as reviewing administrator, I did not delete the article; it is much expanded over the original one that was the subject of the afd.But anyone who wishes may choose to start another AfD discussion. DGG ( talk ) 15:12, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
@DGG: Thanks indeed and I wanted to ask you that whether this article is eligible to be included in English Wikipedia but I noticed that there are articles on this particular person in other language Wikipedia editions. What is your personal opinion on the quality of the article and need your support to improve on my skills. Thanks Abishe (talk) 15:20, 18 May 2018 (UTC)
- It is impossible to accurately predict what a second AfD would decide. But myself, I would not vote to keep the article--her various enterprises are not important enough, and most of the references are because she is Roshan's wife. So I think it would probably be deleted. Some of the other WPs are less strict than we are--don't go by them. (Except for the French and German, which are more strict than us)
- For Women in Red, look for the most important, who are notable by themselves, not because of their families. Look for people who are written about because of major community projects. Look for all women who are members of a state or national legislature, now or in the past--we need to have an article on every one of them. Look for women who are the heads of colleges, especially women's colleges, now or in the past. You have been writing on many athletes--that's a good idea, because notability is fairly easy to demonstrate in that field. Actresses are more difficult to prove, unless they have been principal roles in several unquestionably major films. Coverage of them in newspapers is not reliable--most of it is promotional, often paid for by the studios. Try not to do people known as models, or social figures--there's a good deal of resistance nowadays.
- In what you are writing, try to avoid phrases of unattributed judgement, like "some people think she is the best..." Check the article on Yaashika Aanand for this--there's a good deal of it there that needs to be removed. Don't use some at all, or many . Try to avoid adjectives of praise--try to write with as few adjectives as possible.
- I hope this helps. DGG ( talk ) 16:41, 18 May 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.11 25 May 2018
ACTRIAL:
- WP:ACREQ has been implemented. The flow at the feed has dropped back to the levels during the trial. However, the backlog is on the rise again so please consider reviewing a few extra articles each day; a backlog approaching 5,000 is still far too high. An effort is also needed to ensure that older unsuitable older pages at the back of the queue do not get automatically indexed for Google.
Deletion tags
- Do bear in mind that articles in the feed showing the trash can icon may have been tagged by inexperienced or non NPR rights holders. They require your further verification.
Backlog drive:
- A backlog drive will take place from 10 through 20 June. Check out our talk page at WT:NPR for more details. NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.
Editathons
- There will be a large increase in the number of editathons in June. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
Paid editing - new policy
- Now that ACTRIAL is ACREQ, please be sure to look for tell-tale signs of undisclosed paid editing. Contact the creator if appropriate, and submit the issue to WP:COIN if necessary. There is a new global WMF policy that requires paid editors to connect to their adverts.
Subject-specific notability guidelines
- The box at the right contains each of the subject-specific notability guidelines, please review any that are relevant BEFORE nominating an article for deletion.
- Reviewers are requested to familiarise themselves with the new version of the notability guidelines for organisations and companies.
Not English
- A common issue: Pages not in English or poor, unattributed machine translations should not reside in main space even if they are stubs. Please ensure you are familiar with WP:NPPNE. Check in Google for the language and content, tag as required, then move to draft if they do have potential.
News
- Development is underway by the WMF on upgrades to the New Pages Feed, in particular ORES features that will help to identify COPYVIOs, and more granular options for selecting articles to review.
- The next issue of The Signpost has been published. The newspaper is one of the best ways to stay up to date with news and new developments. between our newsletters.

SRH CSK Rivalry
Hi. I don't think this counts as a rivalry as SRH don't have such fan base and it's not considered as any great potential match-up with high intensity same as either CSK-MI or someother rivalry. You don't have any potential build-up to such match and also it's not even close match-ups with CSK winning most of them. I don't see that as a rivalry but just as every other IPL match. So, I think we don't need any such IPL page. Thank you. Sagavaj (talk) 19:05, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
@Sagavaj: I created this article may be considering the fact that Sunrisers Hyderabad is currently considered as the third biggest rival for CSK in IPL. Abishe (talk)
- Being SRH fan, it just makes me sad seeing some rivalry page with not being competitive in that rivalry. That's why I asked about it. Anyway good work on that page. Sagavaj (talk) 01:38, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
SunRisers Hyderabad in 2018
Hi. It was you who previously rated the above mentioned page before the start of the season. Since the IPL has come to the end, can you review again and give ratings accordingly? And also I am trying to make it atleast as good article. So, can you also provide me some suggestions while reviewing on what to do to make it as good article? Thanks. Sagavaj (talk) 14:14, 28 May 2018 (UTC)
@Sagavaj: I should apologise for my assessment on considering the article Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2018 which I rated it before the start of the tournament when the article didn't have a talk page. Yes, now the article has been arranged nicely and when compared to other Sunrisers Hyderabad seasons this particular article is much better and larger than that of other articles. So now I have rated this article as a C class article because the content has been written nicely by you and the article is having unique importance compared to other IPL seasons like Rajasthan Royals in 2018, Delhi Daredevils in 2018 etc. Abishe (talk) 01:33, 29 May 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks on the assessment. Any suggestions on improving the page? And when do anyone assess for B-class criteria? Sagavaj (talk) 01:41, 29 May 2018 (UTC)

"Whopping" and satellite rights
Hi there, re: this edit, at Wikipedia, we present content in a neutral point of view. We're not here to fawn over subjects or express astonishment or anger or rage, or to make bold proclamations, or to subjectively evaluate quality or quantity. We present content neutrally and we use proper encyclopedic tone. "Whopping" is not proper encyclopedic tone, because it sounds like Wikipedia is astonished by how much money the film received. We do not use film industry slang (or any other slang) in articles (Including words like "blockbuster" "super hit" "flop" "failure" "disaster".) Plagiarism and copyright violation concerns aside, this is yet another reason why it's not a good idea to copy from your references.
You should also be aware that a few conversations have taken place at the Indian cinema task force at Wikipedia, and satellite rights details are not considered noteworthy. We don't need to log every financial transaction the film made. For instance, Black Panther was one of the biggest film successes of 2018, grossing USD$1.3 billion on a budget of $200-210 million, yet there's no mention of the fees it received to license it on cable. It's just a weird piece of information. If you want to argue for its inclusion, I'd recommend opening a new discussion at WT:ICTF. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 13:51, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
- @Cyphoidbomb: I extremely apologise for my mistakes on commenting about the satellite rights of the film Kaala. Yes I actually referred to this particular edit on the film Vivegam where it mentioned that the cable satellite rights were sold to Sun TV. Now I have understood my mistakes and won't commit mistakes like these. Abishe (talk) 13:59, 8 June 2018 (UTC)
- I don't fault you for including the satellite info--people do that all the time unaware of community preferences. The bigger issue for me was the neutral language issue. Regards, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 14:36, 8 June 2018 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of Thadi Balaji
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Thadi Balaji, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia.
If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. bonadea contributions talk 11:24, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of P.S Mithran
Hello Abishe,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged P.S Mithran for deletion, because it seems to be an article that was previously deleted by a consensus decision.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Summaries of critical response of films
Hi there, re: these changes, per MOS:FILM, The overall critical response to a film should be supported by attributions to reliable sources. Avoid weasel words. If any form of paraphrasing is disputed, quote the source directly. Detailed commentary from reliable sources regarding the critics' consensus (or lack thereof) is encouraged.
Cherrypicking reviews that you consider positive, as you appear to have done, does not qualify as a proper summary of the entirety of critical response. Why? Because I could easily look for contrary opinions, and once I found them, use them as proof that the film received lacklustre response. Neither one of us is a critical response aggregator, and presumably neither one of us is qualified to compute the entirety of critical response and boil it down to a summary. That's why we rely on reliable published sources. Thank you. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:48, 12 July 2018 (UTC)

NPR Newsletter No.12 30 July 2018
|
Hello Abishe, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
- June backlog drive
Overall the June backlog drive was a success, reducing the last 3,000 or so to below 500. However, as expected, 90% of the patrolling was done by less than 10% of reviewers.
Since the drive closed, the backlog has begun to rise sharply again and is back up to nearly 1,400 already. Please help reduce this total and keep it from raising further by reviewing some articles each day.
- New technology, new rules
- New features are shortly going to be added to the Special:NewPagesFeed which include a list of drafts for review, OTRS flags for COPYVIO, and more granular filter preferences. More details can be found at this page.
- Probationary permissions: Now that PERM has been configured to allow expiry dates to all minor user rights, new NPR flag holders may sometimes be limited in the first instance to 6 months during which their work will be assessed for both quality and quantity of their reviews. This will allow admins to accord the right in borderline cases rather than make a flat out rejection.
- Current reviewers who have had the flag for longer than 6 months but have not used the permissions since they were granted will have the flag removed, but may still request to have it granted again in the future, subject to the same probationary period, if they wish to become an active reviewer.
- Editathons
- Editathons will continue through August. Please be gentle with new pages that obviously come from good faith participants, especially articles from developing economies and ones about female subjects. Consider using the 'move to draft' tool rather than bluntly tagging articles that may have potential but which cannot yet reside in mainspace.
- The Signpost
- The next issue of the monthly magazine will be out soon. The newspaper is an excellent way to stay up to date with news and new developments between our newsletters. If you have special messages to be published, or if you would like to submit an article (one about NPR perhaps?), don't hesitate to contact the editorial team here.

Defaultsort in biographies
Hi there, Abishe. Don't forget to use Defaultsort in your biographies. It allows you to put the family name first for category sorting, etc. You'll find it under Wiki markup when you are editing. I've added to all the biographies you have created this month but have not gone further back. Thanks once again for all your contributions to the WiR Monthly achievement initiative.--Ipigott (talk) 09:26, 4 August 2018 (UTC) @Ipigott: I am extremely so for this carelessness of mine and I will try my level best to rectify these faults. Thanks for your kind review and go ahead to establish more initiatives like this. Thanks a lot. Abishe (talk) 09:34, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
- I don't think its carelessness. The sort requirements are not mentioned in many of the pages designed to help newcomers. By the way: you certainly like "my level best". I think this must be the fourth or fifth time you have used the phrase in discussions over the last few days. It's perfectly correct in English but if you overdo it, it loses its impact. For me, "I'll do my best" is more assertive.--Ipigott (talk) 12:30, 4 August 2018 (UTC)
