Hello, I'm JBchrch. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Darshan (actor), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. JBchrch (talk) 20:00, 10 March 2021 (UTC)
Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Darshan (actor). Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Diff: [1] Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:37, 11 March 2021 (UTC)
Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Disha Ravi, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Please do not create hoaxes on Wikipedia, as you did at World Leader. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia—and then to correct them if possible. If you would like to make test edits, please use the sandbox. Under section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, the page has been nominated for deletion. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Speedy deletion nomination of Supreme Lord
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice that Supreme Lord, a page that you created, has been tagged for deletion. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which pages can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:
- It is unambiguous vandalism or an obvious hoax. (See section G3 of the criteria for speedy deletion.) Please do not introduce inappropriate pages to Wikipedia. Doing so is considered to be vandalism and is prohibited. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Repeated vandalism may result in the loss of editing privileges.
- It is a redirect from the article namespace to a page outside of the Category, Template, Wikipedia, Help, or Portal namespaces. (See section R2 of the criteria for speedy deletion.)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Hypocorism, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Appu. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Move of disambiguation page
Your move of the disambiguation page Modi to Modi (Disambiguation) has been reversed. If you think that Narendra Modi should be the primary topic for the term Modi, and that the disambiguation page should be moved to Modi (disambiguation) (note the correct lower-case d), please initiate a move discussion to determine consensus. It might well be the right thing to do, but it's not, I think, something that should be done unilaterally without discussion.—ShelfSkewed Talk 15:14, 3 May 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for contributing to the article Jaggi Vasudev. However, please do not use unreliable sources such as blogs, your own website, websites and publications with a poor reputation for checking the facts or with no editorial oversight, expressing views that are widely acknowledged as extremist, that are promotional in nature, or that rely heavily on rumors and personal opinions, as one of Wikipedia's core policies is that contributions must be verifiable through reliable sources, preferably using inline citations. - Because according to MOS:PSEUDONYM, it is not always necessary to spell out why the article title and lead paragraph give a different name if the common name is an understandable hypocorism. Appu (talk) 08:36, 6 July 2021 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Rajneesh shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. tgeorgescu (talk) 16:29, 26 July 2021 (UTC)

"Jaggi"
Thanks for your contributions to the article on Jaggi Vasudev!
On that article's talk page, I object to your recent changes in which the article's subject is now consistently referred to by his given name as "Jaggi".
I'd appreciate if you could respond to this objection. Thank you! ARK (talk) 13:26, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thank you very much for taking the time. Vasudev is a patronymic, this can be confirmed since sources cite his father's name as BV Vasudev where Vasudev is clearly his given name if you're familiar with south Indian naming conventions and especially south Karnataka naming conventions where initials B and V would stand for the person's native village and father followed by the person's given name which would be Vasudev.
- But because these conventions cause confusion to others, people nowadays have been adopting a new convention where the person's given name is accompanied by only their father/husband's name ahead or behind, this thing can be seen consistently in Sadhguru's case too, where his mother's name is Susheela Vasudev, and his name Jagadish Vasudev and also his daughter's name Radhe Jaggi.
- One such famous example in the mainstream is of Dr Rajkumar and his children Puneeth Rajkumar and Raghavendra Rajkumar were the children adopted a different naming convention than their father's.
- And I completely understand your concern:
But even if "Vasudev" turned out to be a legitimate patronym, I'm not sure that the article's status of being written in Indian English warrants the use of the subject's given name as their primary name, merely on the strength of a regional preference for this usage in some parts of India. Surely, the international convention of using a person's surname as their primary polite name is perfectly good Indian English as well, and it doesn't come with the semantic undertow of implying a slight or belittlement to the subject.
- But I have no take on this as I have used Jaggi only because the English Wikipedia has a template to do so and many South Indian subject's pages also have followed the practice.
- I don't think I am the right person to speak for or against not addressing the subject by their father's name. Appu (talk) 16:06, 24 July 2021 (UTC)
- Thanks!
- May I assume, then, that you won't oppose the reversion of all instances of "Jaggi" to either "Jaggi Vasudev" or "Vasudev"? ARK (talk) 10:28, 25 July 2021 (UTC)
- You certainly can assume that way. Appu (talk) 10:42, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

- You certainly can assume that way. Appu (talk) 10:42, 25 July 2021 (UTC)

An article you recently recreated, [Gradeup]], was deleted via this deletion discussion in 2018. The deletion was also discussed in 2019 here. I've moved your 2021 draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Orphaned non-free image File:Gradeup Logo.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Gradeup Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Tol (talk | contribs) @ 22:27, 31 August 2021 (UTC)
Vibha Padalkar moved to draftspace
An article you recently created, Vibha Padalkar, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Can you explain why you moved Dr. Rajkumar to Dr Rajkumar? I don't see a edit summary or an update from you at Talk:Dr Rajkumar#Dr title without the dot. Jay (Talk) 15:36, 8 September 2021 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:The Free Voice- On Democracy, Culture And The Nation.jpeg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}}

Non-free rationale for File:The Free Voice- On Democracy, Culture And The Nation.jpeg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:The Free Voice- On Democracy, Culture And The Nation.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.
If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described in section F6 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. — JJMC89 (T·C) 19:58, 9 September 2021 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Nehru and Bose— Parallel Lives.jpg
Thank you for uploading File:Nehru and Bose— Parallel Lives.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.
If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 10:00, 10 September 2021 (UTC)
