The sayings of Isaac Newton
I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy playing on the sea-shore and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.
The sayings of Charles Darwin
Seen in our backyard and beyond: (a) Starlings in a salt marsh (b) Bumblebee on dogwood blossoms (c) Deer browsing (d) Coyote departing (e) Turkeys foraging (f) Ladybug lapping milk (g) Rabbit browsing (h) Juvenile hawk learning to hunt
"We behold the face of nature bright with gladness, we often see superabundance of food; we do not see, or we forget, that the birds which are idly singing round us mostly live on insects or seeds, and are thus constantly destroying life; or we forget how largely these songstress, or their eggs, or their nestlings, are destroyed by birds and beasts of prey; we do not always bear in mind, that though food may be now superabundant, it is not so at all seasons of each recurring year."
The sayings of Thomas Gray
Ah, happy hills, ah, pleasing shade, Ah, fields belov'd in vain, Where once my careless childhood stray'd, A stranger yet to pain! I feel the gales, that from ye blow, A momentary bliss bestow, As waving fresh their gladsome wing, My weary soul they seem to soothe, And, redolent of joy and youth, To breathe a second spring. Thomas Gray, Ode on a Distant Prospect of Eton College, 1747

The Featured Article Barnstar
This is for contributions to many interesting and important featured articles. Pachu Kannan (talk) 03:55, 12 August 2024 (UTC)

Hi Fowler&fowler! I can feel and understand the desolation in the process of thwarting off bias. It is a thankless job. You have contributed to countless topics with some of the most impeccable sources there ever might be. Thank you 🙏 I hope you continue to do so undeterred by all the hurdles you'd face. And I really hope you like puppies :) — DaxServer (t · m · e · c) 19:12, 24 July 2023 (UTC)

On behalf of the FAR coordinators, thank you, Fowler&fowler! Your work on Darjeeling has allowed the article to retain its featured status, recognizing it as one of the best articles on Wikipedia. I hereby award you this Featured Article Save Award, or FASA. You may display this FA star upon your userpage. Keep up the great work! Cheers, Nikkimaria (talk) 02:13, 25 September 2022 (UTC)

Bishop Creighton

Very pleased to read on the Maugham FAC page that you are thinking of taking the Right Reverend gentleman forward. I'll be delighted to rummage for additional material; a few possible sources are flitting into my mind. Please let me know when you're ready and I'll crank up the Riley Research Contraption. Meanwhile, tipping my hat to your grandfather, and to you, here is a picture of my Gowers-and-Fowler bookshelf, with a clean sweep of both - just showing off. Tim riley talk 13:37, 25 August 2022 (UTC)

The Writer's Barnstar
What can I say! Fowler&fowler shows a rare combination of painstaking research, great perseverance, writing delightful prose, and everything else that embodies a great Wikipedia editor. Take a bow, master! Dwaipayan (talk) 03:54, 11 August 2022 (UTC)
The Surreal Barnstar
I have read so many articles on various complex topics related to historical events etc. and your exceptional editing skills have improved a lot of these articles. This is perfect for your contribution, your value to Wikipedia cannot be summed up in two lines. Sir, Keep continuing the great work. Respect !! RS6784 (talk) 14:35, 8 May 2022 (UTC)
The Barnstar of Diplomacy
For upholding the true human values and secularism in The Kashmir files. There are dozens of unregistered editors who without citing any sources wanted to make erratic changes to the article but you resolved them. Splendid job, Fowler :) Sagardd234 (talk) 21:56, 2 May 2022 (UTC)
Your Opinion is More Important than You Think Barnstar
I think you know how important your opinion is, but from my personal experience, and how articles where our paths are crossing have developed and are developing, this barnstar seems perfectly apt. "This barnstar was created for awarding to Wikipedians who don't realize that something they have said has helped make Wikipedia better." I don't want to specifically mention any one example as the barnstar suggests, as there is more than one. So just a simple, thank you! DTM (talk) 16:10, 12 April 2022 (UTC)
The Anime and Manga BarnSakura
For your greatly appreciated improvements to The Heart of Thomas during its peer review. Morgan695 (talk) 18:25, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
A kitten for you!

I love all the kitty and creature photos on your talk page! I'm having a bleak day today, not feeling too well, and they brought me smiles today. Missvain (talk) 16:55, 29 November 2020 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Awesomeness
(suddenly dropping out of the sky) I just went through your userpage, and found it quite depressing, as I completely disagree to the number of Barnstars and other shiny objects you have. I am ashamed of our collective editor conduct in failing to shower you with appreciation in a volume and frequency that is more mind numbing than a Who performance. Therefore, I humbly present you with my little token: a Barnstar for your allround, wholesome and... simply awesome existence. Proud to have breathed the same air as you. Aditya(talkcontribs) 18:54, 25 August 2020 (UTC)

Thank you for your part in bringing Australasian Antarctic Expedition to the Main page today, in memory of Brian. --Gerda Arendt (talk) 20:11, 27 May 2020 (UTC)

The Barnstar of Diligence
Thank you so much for your attention on Indian National Congress. Back in time I worked hard to improve the article, asked for editors for copy edit but later article became matter of disputes. I had to give up eventually. I will start working on it again as I can see a ray of hope. I will also make sure it achieves GA status. Thanks again mate. 25 CENTS VICTORIOUS  16:10, 24 May 2020 (UTC)
