Personal experience and "the Internet" as "sources"
[edit]Hello. I wound up reverting your edit at Axe, as it was a large chunk of unsourced content and in light of your edit summary. Please see the guidelines regarding original research (in other words, "own experience") and regarding identifying and citing suitable sources (re "the Internet}. Let me know if you have any questions. Largoplazo (talk) 11:33, 1 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hey. I edited the section "parts of the Axe", because i wanted to add more information. What i dont understand is how can there be the text not be removed, there is not one source in the Section (Head and Haft). Greetngs. --320luca (talk) 00:19, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- That is true. From the Wikipedia point of view, this is undesirable. That's why the article is tagged at the top with a description of the problem and a request for people to help with it. Some of the sections are also tagged as problematic.
- While there's a tendency to leave material for at least a while with a tag like that instead of removing it, especially if there doesn't seem to be anything debatable about it, large masses of material like that sometimes do get removed by somebody who's in the mood to clean it up. In this case, I happened to come across your edit and my attention was drawn by your summary.
- I see that inline "citation needed" tags have been placed at three places in the article, dated to 2008 and 2012 (you can tell, in a desktop browser, by hovering the cursor over the tag, or else by going into the article's source and looking there). That tag is a way to draw attention to something specific that the tagger thinks really does need a source for verifiability, but chose to leave the assertion in place for a while to give others a chance to come up with a source. Well, 8+ years is a long time, so I'm going to remove the chunks of text behind those tags. Largoplazo (talk) 02:43, 3 March 2021 (UTC)
- Hello Largoplazo. I now included a Source to my Text for the page "Axe" here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:320luca .--320luca (talk) 14:11, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of Müller Hammerwerk
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Müller Hammerwerk requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company, corporation or organization that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. – NJD-DE (talk) 13:36, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
- No wonder Wikipedia can not get new Authors or hold many old ones. --320luca (talk) 13:38, 6 February 2022 (UTC)
Thrive (Game) moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Thrive (Game), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:
" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. I moved the article to draftspace because it only contained a listing of the ethnic groups in the book. Please add more content to the article. A guide for creating your first article can be found at WP:YFA. Sungodtemple (talk) 19:10, 21 November 2022 (UTC)
Südtiroler moved to draftspace
[edit]An article you recently created, Südtiroler, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?)
It also needs quite a lot of revision of the language. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:

The article List of fatal bear attacks in Europe has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Fails LISTN. BEFORE showed nothing that show this category has been discussed as a group in IS RS. LISTCRUFT
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. // Timothy :: talk 18:17, 10 April 2023 (UTC)
April 2023
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give Draft:List of fatal bear attacks in Europe a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into List of fatal bear attacks in Europe. This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases for registered users, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification for May 12
[edit]Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited OpenAssistant, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Bavarian, Catalan and Basque. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 06:02, 12 May 2023 (UTC)
