Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution
[edit] Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Ted 2 into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution
. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. DanCherek (talk) 05:07, 30 July 2022 (UTC)

Revert on Toy Story 5
[edit]The page should be redirected to Lightyear (film) because the film is the fifth installment of the Toy Story franchise. Also, the Toy Story 4#Future says that "but Nielsen disclosed a possibility of a fifth film, as Pixar was not ruling out that possibility", meaning that Toy Story 5 is possible to be developed. Remember, it's just POSSIBLE, not definite. Therefore, the redirect Toy Story 5 should be temporally redirected to Lightyear (film) instead of Toy Story 4#Future, until the official confirmation of Toy Story 5. 137.189.90.241 (talk) 06:27, 17 August 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Socks (cat), but you didn't provide a reliable source. Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:PBS Kids Preschool Block
[edit]If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Draft:PBS Kids Preschool Block requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/PBS Kids Preschool Block. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion contested: Draft:Wild Animal Baby Explorers
[edit]Hello 174.27.3.169, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of Draft:Wild Animal Baby Explorers, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The reason given is not a valid speedy deletion criterion. You may wish to review the Criteria for Speedy Deletion before tagging further pages. Thank you. BangJan1999 01:23, 7 September 2022 (UTC)
Your merge proposal.
[edit]Windows 93 is in no way an appropriate article to merge to Windows 95. It is a parody website that is not associated with Microsoft or the Windows operating systems. And your request to merge it without copying any of the content makes no sense. That's not what a merge is. If you think Windows 93 should be deleted then take the article to AFD. This is such a bad merge proposal that I can't tell whether you are trolling or simply incompetent to be making a merge proposal. I strongly suggest that you withdraw your inappropriate merge proposal.
Oh, and if you ever do propose another merge, you must tag both articles. Meters (talk) 07:35, 7 September 2022 (UTC)

[edit]Wikipedia is not a collection of product announcements and rumors. Although Wikipedia includes up-to-date knowledge about newly revealed products, short articles that consist of only product announcement information and rumors are not appropriate. Until such time that more encyclopedic knowledge about the product can be verified, product announcements should be merged to a larger topic (such as an article about the creator(s), a series of products, or a previous product) if applicable.
