Hi Kevin, thanks for checking over the page Yevgeni Ivanovich Markov Although the page still requires polishing, I don't understand why you placed a deletion nomination. It's a biographical stub about a historical figure, the page is not about a living person at all, and it includes a clear source reference (more will be added shortly). Please check the page again. Many thanks

Wikify has been deprecated
[edit]Hi Kevin12xd! Just dropping you a note to let you know that {{wikify}} has been deprecated in favor of more specific templates, such as {{underlinked}}. Since the release version of AWB is still automatically adding {{wikify}}, I suggest you install the latest SVN snapshot instead, which has a lot of fixes in it. Thanks, and happy editing!GoingBatty (talk) 02:59, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- Thanks for telling me this! Quick question, though; How do you install them? I apologize for not being very technical in a corner or two. Thanks! Kevin12xd (contribs) 03:01, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
- Just download the file onto your computer, open the zip file, and extract the files so they overwrite your existing AWB files. GoingBatty (talk) 03:03, 26 February 2013 (UTC)

Hey Kevin, you recently messaged 'us' about our edits to the Houdini page. The funny this is that the IP range you messaged represents the entirety of our counties library system. Our network infrastructure is weird to say the least. If you see edits from us the future that you find are of poor quality, just remove them and don't bother messaging. That sounded better in my head honestly (way less conceited LOL), but it's a nightmare outside and I'm still drinking my morning coffee. Greetings from Montco. Pennsylvania. -Tech Staffer — Preceding unsigned comment added by50.200.10.214 (talk) 13:28, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
- Hi there (greetings from Toronto, Canada...), and thank you for popping by to tell me about this. Unfortunately, on Wikipedia, non-constructive editing is dealt with using the same procedure; that is with the reverting of the edit, and the messaging of the user/IP range about the edit (and, if necessary, inform an administrator to take action and block that user). With this said, (unfortunately) if any further disruptive edits are made from the IP range, this may lead to more severe and alarming warnings, and finally, a block. Cheers, Kevin12xd (contribs) 23:10, 25 March 2013 (UTC)

Star Trek Into Darkness (2013)
[edit]Star Trek Into Darkness end of Movie Spoiler hover over your mouse to read it
So wants wrong with it being a hovering text over link to a movie spoiler, if this isn't change can we have the whole movie spoilers to start deleting them online, because well, the movie isn't even out of theathers yet and you all are telling people how the movie ends before they even seen it , shouldn't their be more control over whats posted online here? when it comes to movie spoilers that haven't even been release on blu ray or dvd. no wonder their online pirates out their if their going to post all the new movies ending online on websites like wikipedia — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rtrek (talk • contribs) 01:35, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Rtrek.
On Wikipedia, when people enter a page about a movie, they are looking for the plot. Therefore, adding text such as "spoiler alert" does not help the reader or the article whatsoever; instead, it takes away from the article, in both functionality and aesthetic appeal. Furthermore, please refrain from reverting my edit. Thank you, Kevin12xd(contribs) 01:40, 29 May 2013 (UTC).
why do you think when people look up a movie on Wikipedia about a movie, that their looking for plot info, which is not true at all, not sure where you got that idea from.. I was just searching about if spock prime was in the video game, and came across that page, in no way was I researching about the new movie, I was using google looking for info if spock prime, the real actor was in the new video game and not the movie, which I knew he was in already since I saw the movie already, again I wasn't looking for plot info on wikipedia, I don't like your logic which is just wrong, I came across that info not while looking up a movie but a game title took me to that page , user kevin12xd — Preceding unsigned comment added byRtrek (talk • contribs) 01:51, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Hello Rtrek.
You raise some good points but I am prepared to answer your question. Adding "spoiler alert" tags to articles is generally frowned upon in Wikipedia, for the points I listed above (please address them first). Generally though, when people look for movie titles on Wikipedia, they are assuming the "risk" that they will be exposed to a "spoiler". With almost all notable movies comes along a plot section, which briefly summarizes the entire movie. As the plot section often takes up the greater part of an article (or at least, is the most frequently edited), then, with a considerable amount of certainty, I can conclude that the plot is what peoplegenerally look for when they are peering into an article about a movie. Thank you. Before replying, please address the comments made in my previous post. Kevin12xd(contribs) 01:59, 29 May 2013 (UTC)
- Please also see WP:No disclaimers in articles and WP:Spoiler. Kevin12xd(contribs) 02:03, 29 May 2013 (UTC)

The article Samsung SGH-E700 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
- Non-notable type of cell phone. Fails WP:N.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in youredit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop theproposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, andarticles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. SL93 (talk) 23:55, 16 June 2013 (UTC)

- Hi, and thank you for the post. You should however see WP:VERIFIABILITY, as your addition did not include a verifiable source. Feel free to replace the edit if you do find a source.
