Thank you thank you[edit]I'll be here all week :) I like "big" projects like that. Thanks for the barnstar. --User:Woohookitty Disamming fool! 02:24, 3 March 2012 (UTC) I've undid your edit, because Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering is also disambig. Is there another solution besides [1]+[2]? Alex Spade (talk) 12:00, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
Cross Keys, etc[edit]I'm not very experienced with moving pages; I'm still not sure exactly what all you did to accomplish this merge. Any chance you could exercise your skill by moving Talk:Cross Keys to Talk:Cross keys? Thanks!! YBG (talk) 07:09, 4 March 2012 (UTC) Would like your opinion on Radio stations in Invercargill. This was originally List of radio stations in Invercargill, I had changed to List of radio stations in Invercargill, New Zealand and a new editor changed to the current Radio stations in Invercargill. My understanding (as limited as that may be) is that my move was proper. I tried to explain why it needed to be "list of" on Talk:Radio stations in Invercargill, to which the editor just deleted my talk on that page. I left a polite for firm message on his talk page (trying not to bite), but I think it would be simpler if an admin with experience in this simply weighed in, and made a determination. This is your punishment for having a fruitful and polite discussion with me on Lists of extinct species. ;) Dennis Brown (talk) 20:24, 11 March 2012 (UTC)
Biodiversity of New Caledonia, paleobotany forgotten[edit]Hello, could you to work on this article, please? Biodiversity of New Caledonia. It is a very important archaic species group in Paleobotany and evolution.85.251.99.49 (talk) 08:15, 25 March 2012 (UTC) Hatnote tip[edit]FYI,

Pro se[edit]Hey, thanks for the comment on the Pro se page. To some extent, I agree with the point you make. I've got a couple of worries about the editor and the material though. The editor is almost certain a sock of User:Kay Sieverding based on timing, topic, familiarity with Wikipedia, use of court rulings over find solid secondary sources and general editing style. My worries about the material I think I mostly covered on the talk page. To a large extent, that's a common failing with Kay - she'll latch onto a particular ruling and won't go any further into it. In this specific instance, the ruling she's using was vacated when the court decided to hear the case en banc. I know there is a lot of information about pro se in good secondary sources - law journals, legal expert blogs, new articles, etc. To a large extent, I wouldn't mind Kay returning as long as she stuck only to secondary sources and avoided the soap-boxing that will sometimes creep in with her posts. How can I best handle this? I'm somewhat worried that the entire limits section of the article will end up dominated by primary sources (specific rulings). Ravensfire (talk) 15:09, 5 April 2012 (UTC) An old friend of yours and mind, from List of radio stations in Invercargill. He's been asking a lot of questions and I've tried to answer them. Odd in themselves. But someone brought his contribs to my attention, which has raised some comp. issues. I had asked another admin a week ago (was the suggestion of the other editor) but no reply. Could you briefly look at his talk then his contribs? Something isn't quite right, at least to two of us who have looked. His questions were followed by talkback requests on my page, so directed to me. Dennis Brown (talk) 01:16, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Potsdam, New York is on this month's DAB Challenge list and on 'your' villages within towns list. Can you process this one before someone goes disambiguating links to this one? Greetings LittleWink (talk) 18:31, 13 April 2012 (UTC) Hi. Although pickled onion or pickled cucumber could be eaten with Haslet, I think the sentence implies it's more usual to have pickled and spiced mixed veg as an accompaniment, which it is - there's no cite in the article for any of this of course. Perhaps a better dab would be to Pickling or to Relish - or to Chutney which is now not purely Indian as its article would have us believe. Best, Acabashi (talk) 10:11, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
Disambiguation page[edit]Hi BD2412 – I saw you're an admin that works with disambiguation pages so I'd like your help if possible. Could you please give some input to Johnny Cash (disambiguation)? My edits have been reverted and I've put the brakes on editing there due to encroaching on WP:3RR. I've reasoned that disambiguation pages are for similarly-named articles, regardless of content, but it seems that some other editors are using this page as more like a category for Johnny Cash related topics. Thanks! matt (talk) 23:40, 20 April 2012 (UTC) Comity among faith groups[edit]Hi bd2412. Thanks for your input. I have decided to work on the topic using a subpage of my user page. Hey, I was wondering what you meant by "in this case this is doubly required per WP:TWODABS" here? I've pointed the redirect back to the album because I think Romanian Names is a marginally more likely intended target than Romanian name, but I could be convinced otherwise. – hysteria18 (talk) 21:03, 21 May 2012 (UTC)
Tropical plants[edit]Hello, How are you? I need your help. I thank you your help in the articles and I hope you help me again in future. I ask you: Can you find more people willing writing in tropical trees, genera and families? I ask you if you could enlarge some articles making better known this group of trees in Wikipedia, adding links to genera and families and writing information and asking people if they are interested in writing about topics as tropical trees articles, tropical forest articles or botanical or biodiversity articles. Do you know Wikipedia forums that could be interested about these type of articles? They are welcome too. I thank you very much. I am from Spain and my mother language is not English language. Many country side areas, and Natural areas and Living beings are in Countries where population cannot collaborate with Wikipedia, but their Natural World and its highly economically valuable species are very important too in the human knowledge and developtment of the mankind. People should have information because these matters are important, not just a curiosity only. This unknow world is from Poles to ecuator, in unoccupied oceanic areas closely to Europe, in Deserts as Sahara, or whatever. But to me the main aim is to gather the abundant information disperse about living communities and living beings that have existed for millions of years because they are disappearing and in 20 years they will are not longer exist.Curritocurrito (talk) 12:00, 26 May 2012 (UTC) Re: WP:INTDABLINK violation[edit]Hello, BD2412. Radiation poisoning[edit]Thanks for your help regarding disambiguation policy on radiation poisoning. Could you share your thoughts on what I just wrote on Talk:Radiation poisoning? Thank.--Yannick (talk) 02:29, 9 June 2012 (UTC) You recently changed the disambig page template tag on Bluefin tuna to an SIA, which I don't think is appropriate in this instance. The tuna article is not a list, it's exactly a dab page, it follows the dab page format, and while it's tempting to call all sorts of tuna lists of types, a cursory review of the articles show's they're all distinct species with very different habitats, characteristics, and ranges (and endangered statuses). But I haven't changed anything yet, I'd like to hear your thoughts. Shadowjams (talk) 18:41, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Immage uploads[edit]Do you still do image uploads? I've got one that I think will be useful: An SSN card from someone I can proove is dead, and so can be published without having to be censored like the one currently on the page. 76.117.247.55 (talk) 20:22, 6 July 2012 (UTC)
3D film[edit]Hi, as you go about your AWB clean up work on 3D film, I thought I should point out to you that the link you have been adding, to 3-D film, is merely a redirect to 3D film. thanks, Shawn in Montreal (talk) 17:40, 8 July 2012 (UTC) Images[edit]These are the files: Image:SSN-1943.png, Image:SSN-supplimental.png. Both are {{PD-USGov}}. You can check the SSN and name through any online copy of the SSDI, such as this one: [4]. These images should be able to replace the current censored image on the SSN page. I'm going to ask you to intervene now, please. He's reverted substantive edits of the citations (as done here [5]) and appears to be intentionally misreading Story to support his own viewpoint. In reference to List of federal judges appointed by Barack Obama[edit]I noticed that an IP editor recently made a change to the List of federal judges appointed by Barack Obama article, wherein the background color for judicial candidates that had been reported from committee, but not yet confirmed, was changed to purple. I am not sure that this is an entirely helpful change, but rather than revert it myself, I thought I would ask for a second opinion from another editor involved in WP USCJ. Thanks. Safiel (talk) 18:08, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
Changing "Image" to "File"[edit]Hi. On the principal of "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", it's really not necessary to change "Image" to "File" in image descriptors. Both words work exactly the same, and there's no indication that "Image" is going to stop working anytime soon (and if it does, a bot can make the changes en masse). As it is, if you make that change, it causes the article to pop on on people's watchlists, and they have to take the time to check out what the change is, only to find a needless edit. Thanks. Beyond My Ken (talk) 05:12, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
Newly added disambiguation pages[edit]So, this isn't ready for prime time yet, but please take a look at this page when you get a chance, and give me your opinion. Do you like the sortable table format, or would you prefer a paginated list like Jason's tools present? --R'n'B (call me Russ) 18:26, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
Particulates[edit]Following me asking for advice on whether particulates should be a disambiguation page another used made it a disambiguation page. Now however, you have added a tag saying it is not suitable as disambiguation page. Would you be willing to debate this with them over at Talk:Particulates ? For example if I fix dab of "Tamil" in 20 pages, I am getting only 1 point (for the first fix only), thus my points are much much less than it should be! --Tito Dutta ✉ 13:31, 26 August 2012 (UTC)
Confession[edit]I see that you turned Confession into an article. The problem is, there are still a whole lot of of links that got to Confession when they should be going to Confession (religion). It's a lot easier to fix those with the disambiguation tools, so should be leave it as a disambiguation page until all the incoming links are fixed? StAnselm (talk) 23:28, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Non-free rationale for File:Plouhar.jpg[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Plouhar.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale. If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page.
