... that D.Gray-man manga character Lenalee Lee's hairstyle was heavily debated between her author, Katsura Hoshino, and the editor ...?Source: "You are strongly encouraged to quote the source text supporting each hook" (and [link] the source, or cite it briefly without using citation templates)
- ALT1:
Created by Tintor2 (talk). Self-nominated at 23:07, 15 August 2017 (UTC).
- Tintor2 ALT0 is not cited in the article, while ALT1 is not even mentioned in the article. Please address those issues so the nomination cna proceed. --Usernameunique (talk) 21:20, 1 September 2017 (UTC)
- Tintor2 New, in time, long enough, sourced, inline/offline hook sources taken as good faith, no copyvios seen. Just needs QPQ (9th DYK).
- Can't find any DYK to review in the nominations page.Tintor2 (talk) 00:51, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- Tintor2 All these nominations are older than yours, and still need a review: Tara Rani Srivastava, James Amster, William Olander, List of U.S. counties with longest life expectancy, Elizabeth Wade White, Carlos Cuevas, Berenice Wyer, Daisy E. Nirdlinger, Ida Hall Roby, Thomas Abernethy (explorer), Krake ZK 14, Judith Ellen Foster, Katherine Winthrop McKean, Una B. Herrick, and Hannah Amelia Wright. --Usernameunique (talk) 01:26, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- Left a comment in Template:Did you know nominations/Plastic colorant. Don't know if that's enough for QPQ.Tintor2 (talk) 01:23, 2 September 2017 (UTC)

- Thanks Tintor2. Please do a full review, seeing whether the article is new enough (created, or expanded five-fold, in the seven days preceding the nomination), long enough (>1500 characters), sourced (you did that portion), free of copyright violation (you can use this tool and look for glaring instances of text being copied without attribution), and whether a QPQ has been done. Most of these things are pretty straightforward (e.g., the article is clearly more than 1500 characters long), but need to be checked for thoroughness. Thus, when the problem you identified (unsourced section) is corrected, the other relevant aspects of the article will have been reviewed as well. --Usernameunique (talk) 01:42, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- Usernameunique Made a bigger review and the user seems to be taking notes of the comments I made. Still, it has some issues but I guess he can be given time before nominating it.Tintor2 (talk) 02:06, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- Thanks Tintor2, you're all set. --Usernameunique (talk) 02:13, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- Hi, I came by to promote ALT1, but don't see the hook fact in the article. All it says is Lenalee ended with long hair because of Hoshino's editor. I added a "clarification needed" tag to one word in the lead that doesn't make sense to me. Yoninah (talk) 22:11, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- Yoninah Thanks for the that. I reworded the lead and and added the reference since the same interview contained how Hoshino and her editor discussed about Lenalee's hair.Tintor2 (talk) 23:09, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: thank you for clarifying that word in the lead. But I still don't see the ALT1 hook fact in the article. "Because of Hoshino's editor" does not equal "heavily debated". Perhaps you could add more description of their debate from the source? Yoninah (talk) 23:13, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Yoninah: expanded.Tintor2 (talk) 23:33, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Tintor2: thank you. But I still don't see the ALT1 hook fact in the article. Here is an alt:
- ALT2: ... that Katsura Hoshino acceded to her editor's demand to draw her D.Gray-man manga character Lenalee Lee with long hair, but then had her lose part of her hair in a fight? Yoninah (talk) 09:18, 6 September 2017 (UTC)

- Yoninah I see. So let's use ALT2.Tintor2 (talk) 13:32, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
- OK. Another reviewer is needed to verify ALT2. Pinging @Usernameunique:. Yoninah (talk) 22:00, 6 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Yoninah and Tintor2: ALT2 checks out, offline sources accepted AGF. --Usernameunique (talk) 00:51, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
