Katherine Winthrop McKean
[edit]- ... that Katherine Winthrop McKean, top-ranked tennis player in the late 1930's and 1940's, is the mother of United States Ambassador to Luxembourg David McKean? Source: "Miss Kaye Is Wed To David McKean". New York Times. 1988 ([1])
- ALT1:... that Katherine Winthrop McKean, top-ranked tennis player in the late 1930's and 1940's, is a direct descendant of John Winthrop, the first Governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony? Source: "Katharine McKean, Tennis Player, 82". New York Times. 1997 ([2])

- . Two problems: copyvio detector finds 28.6% paraphrasing similarities. This has to be fixed. Second, I can't find a source for "top-ranked tennis player" in the article. Dr. K. 19:03, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- now the copyvio is 2.9% and the top-ranked was justified by the US Indoor Championships table in the article, but I added it in the header for clarity. Elisa.rolle (talk) 21:46, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
- Earwig's index is actually 13.8% now, but there is no copyvio. The only problem remaining is that the tables are not sourced. Dr. K. 01:11, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
- the table is an extract from the specific wikipedia article. I had a link to it but another editor removed it. I added a reference now.Elisa.rolle (talk) 08:47, 3 September 2017 (UTC)
