[edit]I feel that this should be moved to Virtual Boy, as it is directly relevant to it and not really notable apart from it. - Bryn (talk) (contributions) 07:41, 12 September 2019 (UTC)
- Merge – this is basically repeating the same information as in the other article. GaɱingFørFuɲ365 09:39, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- No merge, addition- @Abryn: @Gamingforfun365: There's a hatnote linking to it, so the editors who edited it before must have found it notable. The Connectivity section of the article under discussion could be extended and a mention of the game software portion, of which there is none in either article, made. Maccore Henni Mii! - Support merge, on the grounds that the topic is too small to need a split in WP:SUMMARY format. Given that the hardware (perhaps accessories might be better) is quite important for the functioning of this game, it seems best to have it on the one page. Klbrain (talk) 21:23, 27 May 2020 (UTC)
- Merge Absolutely no reason to have an article on a the console and a separate article on the console's hardware. They are essentially one and the same and all of this information can be contained at one location. "Technical specification" type articles a cruft of yesteryear. -- ferret (talk) 01:59, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- Merge per Ferret's comment. There is no reason to split the console and technical specifications into two separate pages. Namcokid47 (Contribs) 04:57, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- Merge nowhere near the length recommendations for a WP:SPLIT. Splits should always be done with caution because they easily introduce WP:CFORKs and are harder to maintain consistency across multiple articles. No compelling reason for a split here. Axem Titanium (talk) 18:29, 2 June 2020 (UTC)
- I completed the merge, leaving the hardware spec table commented out. Feel free to restore if you want. This case is a perfect example of why you shouldn't split articles out like this. The main Virtual Boy had many improvements in prose and sourcing that were not maintained on this sub-article so I had very little to merge back. Splitting increases the article maintenance burden.
