Screenshots

[edit]

I have uploaded LEGAL screenshots from Vette!, and they keep getting deleted. These screenshots are of fair use, and it further elaborates information available on this classic game by showing what the graphics appeared as in 1989. Please do not erase these pics...--Djbroox 03:07, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like you lifted them directly off of MobyGame's entry on the game. Unless you are the originator of the screenshots (and provided them to MobyGames as well), they have to be deleted. Unless, of course, you got permission from MobyGames to use the screen grabs (in which case, this needs to be mentioned on the image's info page). We don't have permission to use screenshots from other websites. — Frecklefoot | Talk 12:31, 30 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Apple Version/Later version?

[edit]

I distinctly remember playing a version of this game around 1994 that had full sign gantry's and much nicer graphics on an Macintosh computer. Does anyone else remember this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Modor (talkcontribs) 10:55, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have seen Vette! on a Macintosh computer. I seem to remember the traffic AI was much better on it. (In the PC version, they do not stop for you). I'm not sure if the game had color as the Mac was black and white, if I remember correctly from ten years ago. -- Guroadrunner (talk) 06:45, 22 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Mac version of Vette! had different apps for colour or black and white operation. It might have been 16 colours only though, I don't quite recall. In any case, they definitely had gantries above the highways with directions on them. 130.95.13.18 (talk) 00:36, 12 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Genesis version

[edit]

Maybe this is worth mention: a Sega Genesis port was planned at some point. EGM, August 1990. No info on how far development got, if it started at all. --177.207.48.219 (talk) 18:29, 14 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
