Page view statistics
It is perhaps worth recording that, according to the page view statistics, on August 15th, 2016 (the day before round 1 of the men's 200m race at the Rio Olympics) more than a million people (1,078,915) looked at this article. Kanjuzi (talk) 07:11, 28 August 2016 (UTC)
Name
The article notes his name is 'Usain St. Leo Bolt.' This is not correct. As per normal punctuation St does not have a full stop. This is also shown on his own web page, see: [1]

Autobiography
It says where Bolt broke the record in 2008, there is a quote from a book called "Usain Bolt 9.58", a Google search turns up noting for that book, but does turn up something for "Faster Than Lightning", how should we go about this, and is this vandalism? The brave celery (talk) 16:41, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
Lead image
I believe that the lead image of the article should be changed to the one on the right. This image has a better view of the subject's face, which I believe encapsulates the article's subject better. The current image does not even fit into the infobox well, and does not have a good view of his face.--Alza08 (talk) 02:08, 10 February 2017 (UTC)
I respectfully disagree. The proposed photo is not the most flattering facial close up. There are many other facial close ups that capture the essence of the subject in a more dignified manner, for example here [3] Further, this photo does not enhance the context of the subject as an Olympic champion, especially when the photo's caption intends to highlight Mr. Bolt's 2016 Rio De Janeiro Olympic successes. It's just a photo of a tired, sweaty man staring blankly into outer space.--DanJazzy (talk) 14:07, 10 February 2017 (UTC)

- it was the BBC in their coverage that questioned whether his injury would mean he would not fulfill his future racing commitments (after with World Championships). As it has transpired is was cramp, injury would not be a reason for him to not fulfill his commitments.

not the fastest human
He just came in 3rd place at his retirement race, so is clearly no longer the fastest human, nor will he be again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.198.205.199 (talk) 01:12, 6 August 2017 (UTC)
I guess it depends on how you define the fastest human. If the reaction time is subtracted, he was the fastest runner in his retirement race. Also, did he have the highest top speed in that race or who did? My point is that just losing that race doesn't automatically mean that he isn't anymore the fastest human. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jluttine (talk • contribs) 10:27, 6 August 2017 (UTC)

Semi-Protected Edit Request on 3 Feburary 2018
There is an extraneous comma in the section "2009 Berlin World Championships" The sentence reads : "In late April Bolt, suffered minor leg injuries in a car crash.". I suggest removing the comma. A sentence later in the section states: "However, he, together with other members of Jamaican 4x100 m relay team, fell short of their own world record of 37.10 s set at 2008 Summer Olympics by timing 37.31 s, which is, however, a championship record and the second fastest time in history at that date.". The sentence is long and unwieldy, and I suggest changing it to "However, he and the other members of the Jamaican 4x100 m relay team fell short of the world record of 37.10 seconds, set by themselves at the 2008 Summer Olympics. Their time of 37.31 seconds was nonetheless a championship record and the second fastest time in history at that date." — Preceding unsigned comment added by NO I IN DENIAL (talk • contribs) 17:53, 3 February 2018 (UTC)
Football
The article is missing the fact that, while Bolt wishes to play one day for Manchester United and would like to train with them, he actually trained with German club Borussia Dortmund in March 2018, which their common sponsor Puma had already organized since 2017, and according to a German interview even wishes to play for them and then later for Manchester United. Not that this is realistic, but the training with Borussia Dortmund and maybe his wish to play for them should be mentioned. --SamWinchester000 (talk) 21:06, 29 April 2018 (UTC)

Since he is now (officially and for an unlimited time) training with a professional football club, I think that his football adventures have become a bit more than just "Personal life". "greatest sprinter of all time"?
The only sources for this lead statement are from England… that's not very reliably sourced, is it? That's one particular definition of the term "great". By the way, the 400 m is a long sprint… how can one make such a blanket statement without regard to the achievements of Michael Johnson? - 2600:1702:31B0:9CE0:B0DF:FD4B:DB6E:6A0A (talk) 23:14, 29 March 2019 (UTC)
- I agree the sourcing here is thin, but the claim is not widely disputed, your vote for Michael Johnson notwithstanding. A quick browse through the internet finds numerous references to Bolt as greatest of all time, and on the top 10 of all time lists I've seen (some of which include 400m guys), while there is definitely room for debate where to place Donovan Bailey, Carl Lewis, Jesse Owens and others, there is a very consistent Bolt #1, Johnson #2 listing throughout. Indeed, I believe I've heard Johnson himself call him the greatest ever. So, I'd say we'd just need a few more sources here, not hard to find. Canada Jack (talk) 23:49, 29 March 2019 (UTC)

Workout Routine
Usain Bolt mainly focuses on core muscles and enhancing strength. He trains 6 days per week, 11 months a year. He trains at the gym for 90 min every day. He also runs in pools to get faster because they are harder to run in. Also, he plays soccer for the central coast. Weight training of course has played a major role in Bolt’s explosive development.
